Given that GA users are seeing them, I wouldn't be surprised if this is unintentional and will be fixed soon, so I doubt people need to worry on that front.

I wonder if these ads do have anything to do with all the lag I've been getting today, though--it's been touch and go but earlier it was impossible to quest/do anything.

Let's just hope the staff fixes it soon. Kind-of wild that one of their perks of the GAs is no more ads and now this is happening.

Happening to me as well, not often but enough to be frustrating.

I remember a while back, maybe 2 years ago? There was an issue with ads popping up on the bottom of the page that was fixed. Hopefully this is the same sort of thing and not a permanent feature.

I'm having this issue as well, when I click on a notification. An ad pops up in the middle of the screen.

Both on desktop Google Chrome (latest version), and on iOS Safari (latest version).

The same with me. It seems to pop up when I click on "play random". I am using the latest version of Google chrome.

Using latest version of Firefox, also have a GA, seeing popups... makes me very paranoid....

same issue for me as well. I use chrome. its updated and current. I am also a GA user and i am bit perturbed by these ads/lag. I dont think its intentional by staff. hopefully fixed soon!

Started happening for me today as well. Also a GA user.

I've mostly been grinding challengers on my phone today, so I can't speak to if it's happening for me on computer (yet), but for sure happening on mobile.

The ones I'm seeing are full screen, real bad. Will try to catch a screenshot.

Keith -- I'll post again if I continue to see them. Right now I'm having trouble doing much of anything though (massive lag and 500 internal errors), but I'll see if I can get in a little more battling. All the page views/switches were pulling up ads quite frequently for me earlier.

Edit: Hoping the lag was just from your update. It seems to have cleared up again!

Edit 2: Just got my first ad post-update. 8:06 PM. Have taken screenshot and can upload if desired. (Again, only on mobile. But I have an adblock extension on Chrome which shows blocked ads, so maybe I'm getting them on computer also and just not seeing them.)

LOL! The exact same happened to me. Was hoping to see it was fixed but one popped up.

Adblock on my computer is no longer showing that ads are being blocked on the page. So that's a positive. Will go back to battling on mobile and see if I get any more pop-ups.

Edit: Got in 200-300 pageviews battling and haven't seen another. Looking good!
