Let this be my first contribution to this new thread.

I did not like the new Assorted Box of Chocolates lip items at first, they were to far to the left and looked pouty to the extreme. However after some fiddling around with the wardrobe I found these. +Private Outfit +Private Outfit +++Private Outfit

The basic tights line have so much layering potential. You can use to darken another pair of tights or the to lighten the color. You can also mix and match basic tights to get different colors.

Some additional tights layering:

over any color of basic tights over any color of basic tights over

over This makes the cat stockings more of a true black, but there will be a small part of the upper thigh that's shaded. You can get away with this by making it appear to be a shadow of a skirt, like in my outfit below.

Private Outfit

over different lips are starting to be seen on HA makers subtle, but no doubt any less powerful in bringing attention to lips! c:

@ Ursa Hey, all delish, that's okay, that spiritbound lip balm I've used over lips too. Like this: over the dream lip souffles from the subeautique creates slightly different colors! I've used it over the lilac one before.

@ Sleeb I absolutely adore the idea of the cece coast mouth over the plump lips. great find!

The Spiritbound Lip Balm over Dream Lip Souffles is very just-bitten and Korean stained lips that are super trendy.

^That also works with other hair pieces like the and the Outfit Not Found Outfit Not Found as long as you cover the weird place the hair meets, it blend together really well and looks so luscious and full! <3

some of my fav layering things on one av to save space, yay:

can act as really good eyeliner depending on which eyes you layer underneath, in which case here is gorgeous in and of itself but can come across too big or emotionless so the beach photo can add some dimension c:

- one of my fav eyes, period. I love the bit of eyelashes it adds to the corners of eyes, only bit is it usually causes multiple brows / thicker brows so hair with fringe/bangs may be necessary lol

- used this to layer eyes and other face stuff over, creates a lovely face moles effect or adds more definition to wispy hair if it touches the hair in the right spot :3

layered UNDER other lips can be nice, my fav combo is under

adds a bit of subtle shadowing to the lower eyelid, I like to use it over the eyes

layer well underneath the basic flats series

+ this behind the av's base: creates a nice new hairdo; unfortunately this is the only color combo the rotten hairsprays and fishing net buoys seem to share D: but yay for those who like red? xD

with proper layering under shorts can add a lace hem to them / make for an interesting "top" of tights

I tinkered with layering some more and found the following. under a spoiler because

some of mine im using on my current avvie; under OVER over thicker brows and mascara lines. and that everlasting mascara opens up those dried red roses eye shape a little more another one I use a lot is over

It never occurred to me to layer hairs until seeing this thread.... lmao.

Sooo afterwards I went to the wardrobe and ended up layering behind (which was already on my avatar) for some extra volume.

Put on for just a thicker eyelash on the ^_^ face helps if you have a hair that is sideswept on the right side looking at the av, as it doesn't line up perfectly

I like to take and layer it over to make the hair look a bit longer.

I also like to use or any of the other denim overalls as jeans by layering them under my tops.

I like to layer , , and their recolors over updo's like and that show the forehead, because I really do not like my avatar's forehead to show. bluh. The symbolic weights on is also good for putting under certain hair items to create a loose-hair-and-topknot look like this I also enjoy the way looks on top of

i really like layering pantyhose/leggings over each other to create new colors. :) for instance, one outfit I made the other day required lots of layering around these items.

for the above outfit, i used: OVER OVER OVER OVER OVER

... all to ultimately create the deep purple-brown you see above in order to match the top i used. :) any pantyhose/leggings/tights over each other work very well in making any color you choose.

also works well over/under various lips as someone else has said before.
