Not sure if any of this was mentioned but here's a few tricks I like to use.

**That only works best with the darker shades sadly.

I've discovered that the looks great under (and with the other colors)

also, if you put the under the base layer, and + above, you can get a very nice hairdo :)

I don't know if anyone shared this already, but I like to combine the Curious Dolls with the , you can have some cool different shades of colors to your HA skin.

The result without the Pottery Clay Figure is really nice too, but it looks more soft. Also for these, I prefer to combine more than one Curious Doll with the base skin color.

It really depends on the look you want to have. Currently I'm using + + to achieve a more snake-looking skin tone, despite my clothes covering most of it, haha.

Two of my favorite combos I use all the time are:

And

[Item=Black Sassy Matte Lipstick] (or any other sassy matte lipstick color) over [Item=Limited Edition Delish New Lipstick]

Wanted to share a little layering surprise I discovered ( and thanks for asking about it, c:) :

So, I got some questions about my current HA so I figured lets make a new post. Private Outfit

First I thought was just some sexy cyberdress, and shure it can be used that way BUT in reality it is some kickass bodyarmor. Layer some tight blacks behind one of the hoverbikes and you have a neat swat outfit or motorcycle suit (now i just need a handheld helmet wearable). I have not tried making more fantasy themed armor with these but I figure that is also possible.

Accidentally discovered that and look like one solid item today! Was changing my HAs outfit and liked the layered effect so much I kept it!

Can't believe I only just discovered this. If you want the awkward side-smile cheek line of with some lips, and recolors is awesome over top of it.

I find that if you put the behind the base layer and the or above, you can have a nice platform pair of boots or shoes. And, the most important thing, they are cheap :)

I was looking at what of the new hair coupons to buy and decided to just write it all down for you guys. As I do not have the money to just buy all of them in order to color match them I had to mostly estimate based on shape if it looked right together

So, I wanted a dirty looking and kinda haggard, shadowed face for this zombie hunting badass HA and I'm super pleased with how this ended up!

No. 2 Outfit Not Found I love the and really wanted to make a moody, crying but uber glam HA and I ended up with this outfit. I'm super pleased with how I managed to get her skin looking here too, that glow and all that shadow is super dramatic! Cool trick with the eyeshadow, over make the cut crease like 10x better. I'll still list it below so you can see the order though.

It really annoys me that the skin/makeup options on this site are so limited for black skin tones- the darker your HA is the worse it is as the contrast of all the make-up geared at white people HA's ends up looking clownish. It's really kinda f-ed up tbh.

Anyway, on the bright side, I'm super pleased with how this HA by Nomi_Barei turned out, even if I couldn't get any cheekbone definition or highlight going. Layering + and over your base really helps get the depth in and her skin really glows with and . The slightly purple leg annoys me too, but what can you do?
