I agree, layering is a god sent! >w< 90% of my outfit is comprised of layering clothes and stuff. I layered and together in my avatar since the colors all match up so well.

Wigs are cool too. I make the look less punky with the underneath it.

Or I give the more spunk by putting on top.

Yeppers! :D I started messing with layering different kinds of wigs today. I haven't implemented them yet but I'll eventually get to it. ^^;

You're right, those dungarees are really cool! I hadn't really noticed them before.

I'm always looking for wigs to layer together; even if the change is only subtle, it can make a big impact on the HA as a whole. Same with lips. But I also really admire people who can pile on items to make complex but somehow whole and fluid outfits.

If you layer over you can keep the cool eyebrows + eyelashes from the crystal :D

Hum, well, a few favorites of mine are layering the +colors underneath the redeemed or other full/poofy wigs to get affordable cat ears.

Also I like messing around with the layering of the sheer pantyhose, my favorite combo being above for a nice powder pink color.

I experiment a lot with layering to see what looks awesome :3

Also I just remembered over make for a cute black and white dress.

platform winter boots anyone? under = (putting your fav flats over something with heels usually will usually give you something nice)

also layering + recolours under wigs/hairstyles gives you a simple little shawl without the collar!!

over & all its variants for a great neutrally expressive lip. The one I'm wearing now is I believe. Use the combo on almost all my HAs now.

That's awesome! And it works with all eyes that have no lashes/eyebrows of their own. I use the "dark" base eyes for the same purpose. Makes me look a bit sarcastic, but at least it doesn't take up a face-slot.

I love it! And it's not just the lipstains, either, it works with a lot of different lips. Unfortunately, the Lang Lipbalm is quite expensive, but there is an affordable, if slightly different, alternative in .

I agree, and I would even argue Cece Coast has a bit more potential because of the size of the lips! Not only does it layer well above basic, cheap lip items, but it even tempers some bigger more ungainly lip wearables like the Giselle Under My Frog Umbrella Lipstick (plus the Anechka Sheepish Lip Gloss thrown in because it's my one of my favorite lips on dark bases):

I haven't tried out the new lip balms from Peka-Boo yet, but they probably layer for some nice smiles and smirks with the right colors, too.

Aww! Wigs that can be layered together are so groovy.

I just discovered that a pair of lacy sleeves can be added to any outfit if you put underneath your top. The top has to cover the chest piece of the shawl. It's a journey of discovery. :D

Whenever I use the for some sort of war paint-like effect, I usually layer one of the sui blushes or one of the body blushes over it to soften the edges of the red a little bit.

The looks super nice over . It adds a little bit more messiness to it, which I really love.

Since the item: doesn't have eyebrows, I usually layer another item like under it to give it some!

I also usually layer & because it makes the eyelid, eyebrow and eye outlines just a touch darker. (which I prefer, lol)

so i always love experimenting with facial feature layering because it creates such unique looks. i've had for a long time and use them often because theyre gorgeous, but i've just now started using them as a base! it creates a lovely crease on the eye (i'm wearing it with argo blackout atm) and you get those killer brows.

I absolutely love using those as a base too! Layering eyes is one of the only HA things I'm good at aha.

Lately, I've been obsessed with the And it gives such a nice dark eyeshadow to layer over.

I also LOVE the to use when I have a lighter-themed HA. It really makes the eyes pop when I use it as a base.

I love textured faces, so I love that exists and as a held item, because that means I can layer over it and a freckle lotion under it and I don't need any OOLs. 8D
