I did since someone mentioned it on facebook. Personally, I like many aspects of this. I wish they would expand the mythos of each species more. Only the popular ones are shown in the subetapedia. I wish the customization with clothing was focused more on the pets (I'm just really used to this) instead of human avatars. I heard it was because they wanted the pets to remain more animal like. I'm happy they dont' censor EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING! GRAPE GRAPE GRAPE BALLS NUTCRACKER!!!

i came from neopets as well, after someone posted about this website on faceboo

I first signed up here after seeing an ad on Neo, (years back) if that counts. XD Personally, I love having an avatar instead of dressing up my pets. Instead of customizing pets here, you can get art done of them and add the art as a custom overlay (much better for characters, in my humble opinion) it does cost $5 per overlay, but it stays in the system so if you want to switch between 5 different overlays (it would cost around $25) and you could switch them as much as you like. :3 Plus, buying pet slots/getting extra pet slots from loyalty totems in a big thing for me. XD And yes! The filters! <3

When I set up an account a year and a half ago I never really got the hang of it here so I kinda just stopped logging in.

I only came back a few months ago after a friend suggested I try here since neo has gone downhill. I actually couldn't remember my username but after emailing support with my contact info and stuff they were able to help me log back in instead of starting over. Which is a real step up compared with the support on neo lol.

I enjoyed the customization on neo more and I don't really enjoy the Human Avatar thing (hence just being a cat all the time) but maybe I'll get into it one day though.

There are soooooo many better things here though!! THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT US LOL.

Actually the Subetapedia about the Pets is quite new, so there are not all species available right now. Once some new Lifelike Dolls are added (wearable versions of the Pets in the different "basic" colors) the Subetapedia article for that species is added as well. It just takes time.

I did too, it seems quite confusing to start, but I think as I get used to it there seems to be quite a lot of more interesting things to do :)

Welcome to sub ;) I came here from neo about 3 months ago! I tried to bring my fellow guildies here but they said it looked boring ( On the inside I am dying laughing because neo is complete dung right now to say the least :p ) But whatever floats their boats! It was a great move on my part!!!

LOL!!!! yes! I was so glad when I came here to notice they werent babying the forums like neo :p We can say cracked, seaweed, grape...... finally...free... xD

Neo and sub both have its ups and downs, but sub has my heart ^^

Haha I've played both simultaneously for the past 10 years :) They're different enough from one another that it's easy to get hooked! I personally like the HA customization over the pets. I was sad when they converted all the pets at Neopets :/

I also came here from Neo cause of the person on FB lol Restocking here is SO easy after restocking in neo XD And the point system seems similar cause you can buy potions and stuff for things from 100k to millions but if you do the quests and play right you can get a million a day easily. AND you actually get substantial amounts from the games!!!

new here, completely lost, and I thought Neopets experience would avoid that! Guess I gotta learn to navigate this site form zero.

I am liking the pets though. In Neo I hated the big re-draw they did for the customization. In here pets are all so beautiful I almost had a meltdown trying to choose!

welcome to Subeta! I came here many years ago after a fellow guildmember told me to join. Sadly she doesnt anymore but I got another friend from neopets to join this site and still plays it. since i discovered subeta I didnt regret leaving Neopets. Its been ages since I was there. I really love the subetan staff here, easier to Restock,earn money and have many pets. I have seen some player have something over 20 pets. I love you can dress up your avatar instead of the pets.

Yep, I'm here because Neo was down today but I really like Subeta. ^.^ I'll keep playing!
