I came from neopets a little over 3.5 years ago, and didn't start actively playing here until around 3 years ago. I'm so glad I made the switch, the only thing I could accomplish on Neo was spending my RL money to buy outfits for my pets unlike here I've accomplished so much (collections, pets, wardrobe, EVERYTHING)

I saw someone talking about it on the Neopets FB page, too, and decided to check it out. I actually really like the non-customized pets. To be honest, pets with wigs and shoes kind of creep me out lol. That's why mine on Neopets are naked, except for maybe glasses or a hat or something. :-)

Legit though! The highest amount of money I've ever had on neo at one time was 1.2mil, and here I'm on day 2 and I have 5mil (had 8mil earlier, I'm a spender not a saver haha). Honestly neo just went downhill after the conversion and the deflation of draiks. It's basically impossible to trade into UC nowadays.

• The pets here are a million times more gorgeous than the Neopets (sorry all of my pretty draiks and aishas!).

Oh yeah the cash shop fixation was infuriating me as well. All they were doing was releasing more and more cash shop items instead of fixing existing bugs and glitches, addressing tickets and coming up with plots and actual activities for the site that made things fun and people want to play. Y'know. Instead of pseudo-scavenger hunts and mini battles and stuff that all basically required you to spend actual money to complete in time or get anything remotely good. And all they rewarded you with was hey; more wearables XD

Yes, pets with wigs just bugger me the hell out lol. I only went as far as backgrounds, trinkets and neck-down clothing, but when it came to hair and make up that was just going too far. Making all the characters pose generically, grandfathering of painted pets, all for the sake of dress up? I'd take the old painted pets over wearables any day.

Now I've heard they've removed all colour-changing REs. Too little done too late to repair too much damage heh

To be honest I wish they'd just retire the altador plot already and begin a new plot. It's been years!nThe only thing keeping most players on Neo these days are the boards, which are down now because of the Neo purge last weekend. nAt least guilds are working.

What did you play/do to get 8m in two days? I only did quests day 1 and as a result didn't get much more than 1m. I'd like to get a potion in not too long a time XD

I just made an account 5 minutes ago because Neopets banned me for no reason, and I'm super upset.

I found and purchased a black light potion for 500k and resold it for 8.3 mil (:nI also love questing!

One of my friends on Neopets recommended I join here. I did and at first, I didn't care for it too much. Then I went back to Neo for a few months, got fed up with their shit, and came back here to try it out again. I've been addicted since. xD

I left because I was really close to getting permanently frozen, because I ALWAYS got warned and silenced for stupid shit that wasn't even rude or offensive. I got angry enough that I didn't want to play anymore. It's better here.

If you do your quests, be careful not to spend too much per item. 5,000 sp per item on most quests is a good average, never spend more than 10,000 sp on any single item for Maleria, Cinthia, Library, Cursed, or Quentin. That's a good price for Wizard too. For Saggi, I'd recommend not spending more than 15,000 sp per item. Same with Pete. Once you've done your Wizard quests, you can use your tokens to vend items from the various vending machines around Subeta. I usually use Blue Sky or Dragon's Hoard because I like the items they give. If you want to see what each machine gives, you can use the SubetaLodge Vending Guide. As a regular member, you can vend up to 250 times per day. That will cost 500 tokens. Then you can use which items you want (clothes, food, books, etc) and put the rest in your shop. Selling those will make you decent profit too. I usually make about 1-2 mil per day just doing some of my quests, and I'm really lazy LOL. It's much easier to make sp here than it is to make np on Neopets. Save up and in no time, you'll be able to buy cool things that you want! Be careful of keeping too much sp on hand though, use your bank wisely! You can collect interest every day before you pull anything out, and keeping the majority of your sp there will save you from losing money to the random event where Sebastian Phoenix comes to collect taxes. It's very rare, but it always catches me at the most inopportune time!

What browser do you use? Are you trying to use the classic wardrobe or the beta wardrobe?

Are there any quest givers that you should avoid? Earlier today I did a quest for someone and I bought one thing for 50k. The prize she have me was like 10k. (sorry about the "n" thing in my other posts, for some reason my phone does that on subeta when I hit return)

The site lags so badly that it is very hard to play some of the games. Part of me only wants to be there due to the forums

Ouch, don't spend 50k on anything for a quest, except for maybe Saggi when he asks for 4 items (and only if one of those items are that expensive). I'd avoid Library & Cinthia, they're the least likely to have good payout. Quentin is only good for getting Mage Amulets, so if you don't care about battling, I'd avoid them too, at least until you have a good amount of sp built up that it won't matter as much if you lose out on some sp.

The "/n" thing is something that subeta does if you're using mobile. It's a bit broken lol.

For some reason we're having more lag issues than usual. I'm guessing some of the lag is just the server that you're on; storms are really bad across the Americas right now and it's been knocking out my connection frequently.

Oh thank goodness. I'm a PCer and I've been going through trading / adopting out withdrawal lol.

Ughhhh. Quests and restocking? I think I'll just stick to being poor.

Had my account frozen years ago and came to Subeta and have stayed ever since. I did make a account again but I barely do anything with it now. I just can't get fully back into the website after that. I been hearing about the issues for a while now. Wonder if they will ever fix it? :/
