I had a Neo account for a few years before I joined Subeta, I was active on both for a long time. Now it's just subeta, tho I checked in recently trying to see how many months I'd been a neo member, but my lookup redirected me to their home page. Heard some stuff was going down there. :P

my group of rp buddies emigrated to subeta after getting fed up with neopets' obnoxious filters and i just went with the flow, man. when i first came to subeta i actually left after two weeks b/c i just... couldn't get into it. i felt like the community was really clique-y (i was just a socially awkward teenager haha you guys are awesome) and felt like after doing some quests there was nothing left to do.

now, the last time i even tried to play some neopets was two years ago. the boards are dead and everything lags. even key quest (that game is so great omg i love it so much) is boring because there's nobody to play with. and don't even get me started with the filters jesus christ. i logged on last year just to see if anything had changed (it had just been bought by whoever owns it now) and it was even more dull than i remembered.

i am 99.9% sure i'll never go back there, i much rather prefer subeta. but at the same time i don't regret spending so much time and money on neopets since when i was 14-15, that was like a second home to me. plus, sorry to be so shameless, but my account and pets there are p impressive and i'm very proud of everything i have achieved there. n____n

(on a side note, i love how many great pet names are still avaliable on subeta, thank god name hoarding here isn't as common as on neo heh.)

After Neopets went offline for a few days back in October, I just surfed the web for another pet site, saw and clicked the link to this site...and I never went back.

Why? Beautiful artwork, fun events, easy cash, restocks, nice community...I could go on and on about how great this site is. When I first came here, it stunned and confused me at all of the differences (so many pets, HAs, quests)--and entertainment it brought. But at the same time I liked it so I was sold.

I mean, I still love Neopets because it was my escape from reality a few years ago, but at this point...I don't know. But I do know that it was good at the time and that this addiction to Subeta won't be ending too soon!

I used to play Neopets way back then too. Its been 8 years since then, and hearing whats been going on there makes me not regret leaving when I did. Tried Marapets with no success. But then I found the holy land that is Subeta.

Oh man I had a neopets account a loooong time ago. Like thirteen years ago or something. I remember because I was really young and I didn't have a computer at the time so I'd go over my grandparent's house every afternoon after school to play on it it for a few minutes.

I stopped playing because my little brother got onto my account after I'd been playing for about a year and sold or abandoned or whatever my pets and items.

I still remember my first pet there, a Lupe named Wolvar.

Right here. I played neopets for 12 years before I finally got fed up with the direction it was going, and started trolling the internet for any virtual pet site I could find. I found chickensmoothie that way (which I have mixed feelings about, but there are some very chill people there), and on chickensmoothie, I found Flight Rising, which I liked a bit better. On Flight Rising, I was linked to here from a virtual pet site thread. I explored the site a bit, liked what I saw, and decided to stay.

I used to play both interchangeably until two years ago, when I got frozen on neopets for swearing on the single player battledome chat.

Now everytime I have extra free time its just subeta xD

And the best feature subeta has over neo it is that it doesn't have a single player battledome chat, so I'm good!

I´m on Neopets too, but Subeta is better than neopets for me. A year ago i was more on Neopets than here but I really think neo isn´t interesting anymore

I came to Subeta because Neo refused to give me back my account even though I explained that it was hacked. They said that I must have given my password out (i didn't obviously). I lost 5 million and a fairy neopet. Like this website better!

I'm still on Neopets as well as playing Subeta. But I initially came here because of Neo's lag. On Neo, I've recently adopted one of my dreamies (Faerie Grundo) and will likely save up money for a faerie meerca! Yay!

Man this site is great but I'm so torn. I love my neopets and my friends there but it's great that there are so many good untaken names here and that you can create them if the old user has been inactive long enough. But I adore Neopets ;~; Especially Neopets' Pound Chat (I'm corynla, muse from the Mr. Coconut Dreams&Goals board if any of you recognise me lol xD)

I religiously played Neopets from grade school towards the end of high school. I adored everything about the old art and community. Learned to code there and what not. Had a lot of ups and downs with it after the changes. Gradually moved over here during the early days. Had a hiatus bc rl. Recently came back about two months ago and turns out I'm super loving it. I definitely wouldn't go back because of all the immaturity and obnoxious kid-friendly filters. If 12 year olds can say fuck yo bitch ass on COD then I say screw it lol. Set a higher forum age or SOMETHING different then the clusterfuck they had going on. Also, I give this place an A++ for actually making it easier to achieve my sp/pet/whatever else goals. 7.6 yrs & counting.

I came here after watching a YouTube rant about the restrictive staff on Neopets that had a list of alternate pet sites to play at the end. I remember freaking out that everything was at least 2000 sP because I was so used to not being able to make money unless I slaved away for hours XD

I like it better here. The staff is friendlier and much more helpful, user feedback is actually listened to, and you can actually talk to people on the forums without having to worry about being banned. I still go on Neo for nostalgia reasons, but I've really lost interest in it after finding out about other pet sites.

Kind of. I played Neopets when I was 11-13 years old, I guess. Now I'm 21 and a friend invited me to play Subeta. I'm enjoying a lot, no doubt. :)
