So, I'm looking through a comic/manga site and I happened upon a SWAT Kats fancomic. That has sent me on a Nostalgia Trip like none other and today I was wondering, 'Does anyone else remember this?'

So what were tthe things (cartoons, tv shows, anime, movies, comics, manga) that made up your childhood?

Mine was the SWAT Kats, Tom and Jerry, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, DBZ, Mask of Zorro, first X-Men movie...too many more to name but by God, I wish I were a child again. And I'm only seventeen...

Well, I'm ancient, so most of mine would be outside your frame of reference:

Foghorn Leghorn, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny of course, Heckle and Jeckle for cartoons Petticoat Junction, Andy Griffith, I Love Lucy, Mod Squad, The AVengers, Mission Impossible, Man From U.N.C.L.E for my tv shows

I was born a 90's kid and grew up with all of its magnificent geekiness. I remember Batman, Justice League, Beetlejuice, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball, Digimon, and all other sorts of great and not so great entertainment from my childhood.

My childhood consisted of Pokemon, Digimon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Cardcaptor Sakura, Yu-Gi-Oh, Invader Zim, Angry Beavers, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Animaniacs, Hey Arnold, Pinky and the Brain, As Told By Ginger...

Uhh. The list could probably go on forever, to be honest. I watched a lot of TV as a kid. lol

I grew up with shows like Lilo & Stitch and Supernatural (I love my mum for letting me watch this when I was just 9) And I watched a lot of Disney movies, most of the time I watched The Lion King or Oliver & Co.

Definitely shows like Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, and Hey Arnold. Also, I loved Power Rangers; I had a Power Rangers birthday party once.

My family somehow entirely missed the Pokemon boat, even though it was definitely all the rage then. My sister and I did play a lot with Crazy Bones, and of course Tamagotchi.

Also, Harry Potter was very important to me.

I was born in 92, so I'm another 90s kid: I have early memories of the Clangers and watching the Disney classic films (Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book and The Aristocats were favourites) on VHS. As I got older I remember being a huge Nickelodeon kid: Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, the Amanda Show and Saved by the Bell!

I had so many toys, as well. Pokemon Gold was my first game for my Gameboy Color - which everyone loved because it was 'see-through purple!!!!' and don't forget BEANIE BABIES ;U; omg

I also loved to read. Harry Potter, obviously was important: I remember ageing in time with the movies and being the same age as Harry Potter was dope.

I find it weird that I'm in the last generation to grow up without the internet. It would be so cool to hear what kids remember about the impact of the internet on their childhoods in the future.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for me :p It's so hard to watch the new movie now, such fond memories of the show and first two movies!

I also remember when the Pokemon craze took over, consumed me for ages in terms of both tv and video games.... good times!

Oh man, I was just thinking of the stuff I liked as a kid.

I grew up on Pokemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Hey Arnold, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Rugrats. I LOVED Biker Mice From Mars but I don't remember much else other than that? And then there was also Street Sharks. Other than cartoons there was Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Boy Meets World. I'd watch Buffy with my mom but it kind of scared me.

AND GOOSEBUMPS AND ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK. Favourites.

Well, PBS shows were big at our house, because we didn't have cable for awhile. Prominent shows were Sagwa the Siamese Cat, Arthur, and Out of the Box. And I always called the TV on saturdays for shows like Yu-Gi-Oh, Batman, Pokemon, and Xiolin Showdown.

As a family, we watched Friends, the Cosby Show, Angel, Charmed, and Star Trek. Disney movies, of course, were also popular. I think my favourites then were Lion King, and Cinderella. :)

Let's see... Pokemon, Tom and Jerry, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Lizzie McGuire, pretty much all of those old Disney channel movies.

Also I loved those Dunkaroo snacks, pokemon cards, and the Nintendo 64.

When we got home from school my friends and I would race home so we could watch Star Blazers and G-Force, then we'd all run outside and play out the episode.

As far as TV goes, Pokemon, PBS shows, a lot of cartoon network shows (though truthfully I wonder now why I enjoyed the CN shows).

Also Furby, Disney Adventures magazine, lots of Happy Meal toys...
