I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I live in Austria, and we get most of the things Germany has, so if they had Cheetos, I imagine they'd have them here.
I played nintendo 64 games with my brother and some 3ds games too
Literally can be summed up in just "Pokemon." Still obsessed now at almost 26. Really no difference from when I was 7, except now I have a full time job where I can fill my house with collectible items... >:)
But yeah, I was around when the Pokemania was hitting hard in the US. Still my favorite set of memories, and I'm so glad it's a franchise that keeps going on and on, because it's helped me out through a whole bunch of rough times...
Beatlejuice, 101 Dalmations, Toy Story, Puppy In My Pocket, A Bug's Life, Mulan,The Simpsons, Sailor Moon, Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Pokemon, Gameboy, Beanie Babies, Nintendo 64, Worst Witch, Playstation 2, Powerpuff Girls, Digimon, Yu Gi Oh, Beyblade, Neopets, Harry Potter, Teen Titans, Good Charlotte, Evanescence
Some of the things coming to mind are Crush Gear, Beyblade, and good ol' Pokemon. I also loved playing Spy Fox, Freddy Fish, and Pajama Sam as a kid -- those games were my life.
Pokemon, The Goofy Movie, Minnie Mouse, Hello Kitty, pretty much anything involving butterflies, Stellaluna...too much. ;---;
...
Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Scooby Doo, Donald Duck comics, Ducktales and My Little Pony were the main ones
Bomberman. Childhood smells like Bomberman, and Digimon, Pokémon, other stuff, but Bomberman was my favorite game. A friend of mine always played with me. Some fighting games with my cousins too. I think games played a big role in my childhood. Super Metroid is also something to remember.
Harry Potter always, from the start. Tom and Jerry, Spongebob Squarepants, Hannah Montana.. Oh and i used to have a Tamagotchi but never succeeded to keep it alive even for a few days time. Oh, and how could i even forget Scooby Doo? :D
I often wondered about this, I asked my friend "Am I the only person you know that likes the Voltron made of vehicles, and not cats?"
He said just you and two others.
The Raccoons; The Silver Brumby; Tom & Jerry; Dexters Lab; Cow & Chicken; Sister Sister; Teen Angel; Smart Guy...
The Princess Bride, Tarka the Otter, Homeward Bound, Honey I Blew Up the Kid..
And of course N64. A whole lot of Super Mario and Zelda Ocarina of Time. GREAT times.
Mine was Tom and Jerry,Scooby Doo, The Hair Bear Bunch, Dark Shadows, Strange Paradise, Lost in Space, Gilligans Island and Horror Movies.
My childhood was mainly Bratz dolls, bead lizards, Invader Zim, Spongebob, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Ed Edd and Eddy, pokemon yellow on my pink gameboy color, Spyro 1-3, Beanie Babies, Avatar The Last Airbender, spending hours and hours wandering around in my 8 acre back yard with my guinea pig....man I really miss all the freedom. If I could just have one month or even one WEEK to immerse myself with everything I loved doing from ages 6-14, that'd be the best possible thing. Oh...and I also spent a pretty good amount of time with Subeta and Neopets once I finally upgraded from dial up internet since I lived out in the boonies. lol
"Dang son, where'd you find this?"
Mine was pokémon, inuyasha, old-school cartoon network, littlest pet shop and neopets. Also I remember I made my parents buy me pollies and barbies that came with animals, would throw the dolls aside and play with just the animals, so when littlest pet shop came out I was super into it because it cut out the boring dolls XD
Mainly pokemon obsessed, still watch it at 26 years old haha
The two franchises that made up most of my childhood were Pokemon and Sonic. I got those cheesy Sonic games from McDonald's and that was how I got introduced to the series. Meanwhile, I got Digimon World 3 early on, and I loved it. Grew into being a fan of most platformers and monster team building RPGs. Spore had a big role in my online history however, and via a friend from there, I got here, on Subeta!
