Sitting in the back of the old beaten up vehicle with her parents was more nerve racking than anticipated. The trunk was junky and only meant for short trips to transport harvested crops. Although Ida constantly assured them that she would have been fine to get a ride with the company they insisted they made the journey with her. Sitting with a large black hat on her head, a loose tshirt, purple leggings, which were partially covered by tall socks, jetting out of boots wrapped around her calf. She reached up and touched her ears, making sure she had put in her sparkly earrings that morning.
She looked out the window and remembered the scenery as she had seen it before. There was a great effort to make sure this was the right path for Ida, as she had to replaced after she left. Her parents chatted in the front but Ida sat in her thoughts.
"Are you ready my little Ida? I will be sending you lots of computer letters my little pumpkin." "I told you mother, it is called an email, and I am very ready. You know I'm more than capable." "Its just something new, I was a wreck when you left us last time."
As the vehicle came closer to the school grounds, Ida's father pulled up to the building marked for mythical beings. It had been somewhat of a debate in the family where she was meant to be, but the school decided for her. The truck stopped and Ida braced her large trunk which sat on the back bench with her. Her parents turned around towards Ida, as she started to tug her luggage out of the truck. It was protocol in the company to be responsible for moving your own belongings, which meant only what was needed got to go inside the trunk. Waving her parents off, she whispered some words in her native language and started to slowly approach the school, noticing the unfortunate steps up to the building she would now be planting her roots in.
Zero got out of a car with a tall man who spoke softly to the shorter grey boy in Japanese before banding him two bags and two medium sized boxes. Zero bowed his head as he adjusted the boxes in his hand. The man waved and drove off. Zero looked around nervously, so many people and so many such a big canvas. Not many humans, so he shouldn't have such a hard time but... oh how was he going to survive here? He barely spike English. A quick look around and he saw a map. Zero our the boxes down to put the bags on each shoulder and picked up the boxes. They were were very heavy. He shuffled to the map and looked it for a moment. He knew some words but he still needed help. He set down his stuff in a neat pile and took out a smart phone. He got his translator app out with some difficulty and found the words he was looking for and tried to remember the directions best he could. He gathered his things and started walking in the direction he saw on the map. He new the building had a emblem with makes and an octopus. Not to hard right?
A couple minutes later and he was lost and his boxes were getting heavy. He tried to reach into his pocket and get his phone out and balance his boxes. As fate would have it he bumped into someone and was knocked over. Gomen!" he yelled, hating himself right now. He scrambled to get his things in order and properly apologize to the person. He stood up and bowed. He had never seen anyone like them before.

Azaria mumbled something too herself as she parked her moped with black chipped paint in the student parking lot. She removed the sunglasses and pocketed them, her amber eyes adjusting to the light, the sun emitted from it's luminescent throne. Looking around she noticed an abundance of creatures both mythical and human wandering lost and confused, fights were breaking out as the students met other "unsavory" characters on campus. She took a moment to adjust herself, straightening her worn black trenchcoat, it was a warm day but she didn't want to remove it just yet... She ran her fingers through her long spiked hair, her pale fingertips gently brushing over her curved horns. She hoped no one would notice. The last thing she needed was a fight.
She unstrapped the two heavy suitcases on the back of the scooter, and lifted them, stumbling a little as a result of their weight. It might take more than one trip... She thought as she moved her way toward the school. Watching as several students did the same, with parents and friends. Something she didn't have, she had to do this alone. She stopped by one of the large maps plastered all around campus then carefully reached one of her full arms into her pocket to find one of the brochures for the school with a map for her dorm on it. She saw an elven girl walking up the steps and realized she would be in the same building as her, She took a few steps toward her as she decided to follow her. Picking up her heavy suitcases suddenly she felt something bump into her, she lost her balance and fell to the ground her suitcases busting open her fair falling down, revealing her glossy black horns. "Hey" She snarled, scared the boy was picking a fight. The elven girl turned to look at them. "What's your problem I didn't do anything?!" She quickly pinned her hair up and began rearranging the contents of her trunks.
Zero had realized he has bumped into a girl with unusual hair and eyes and she was mad. Maybe she didn't understand Japanese. He tried again to apologize. " I am... ver-ly... sor-ly... my... bad." he sounded very out of practice. Zero did his best to help the other put their stuff back in their trunk. He should have paid better attention instead of making others mad. When he was done he picked up his things and bowed again. "My... bad." he said tried for a third time. He was almost to embarrassed to look up from the ground. He could already feel this was going to be just line high school soever again but this time he would be living here. Most of this fear was in his head.

As Ida walked towards the building, a ruckus behind her caught her attention. Turning around slowly and laying her trunk on the ground she noticed that a few fights were broken out. It was an unfamiliar world to her, she only knew the circus and they were a family. One particular fight close to her, between a boy with broken english, and a lady with horns made her tilt her head with interest. Her face rearranged slightly as she considered if she should meddle or not, it seemed to her as if there was just a misunderstanding. She tugged on her trunk and pulled it across the grass as she approached the two, trying not to get in a fist fight her self.
"I don't believe you did anything. I do believe it's an accident though." Her voice what somewhat similar to a childs, but with years of wisdom influencing the words. "It is encouraged I do believe to move in, I saw nothing about fighting. if you two are lost, the building is right there. If you both walk towards it, you can't walk into each other."
She picked up her trunk again and smiled at the two as she turned around and started her trek back towards the building.
((Aaaah sorry everyone! Computer troubles!))
Aniano wore black that day. A fine-tailored peacoat jacket with a black fur collar - authentic fur, of course, the best that money could buy. Form-fitting slacks, a vintage fedora, and pointed leather shoes polished to perfection. When he sized himself up in the motel mirror that morning, Aniano had thought he looked stylish and mysterious. No one would ever guess that he was really mourning the loss of his trust fund.
The boy swaggered onto the campus wheeling a silver trunk behind him. His budget had only allowed him to stay in seedy motels since he'd arrived from Greece, but he held himself like a runway model, complete with vacant expression and air of self-importance. Even so, he couldn't help but notice the other students as they darted in and out of his peripheral vision. Horns and wings and tails, strange colors and shapes. They were all so unique. Some were scary, some were powerful, some were even beautiful. The more he wandered, the deeper it sank in. Aniano Diamandis just barely qualified as a mystical entity. Looking passed the strange history of the arimaspian people, he was little more than a boy with just one eye.
A voice cried out from not too far off. Aniano turned toward the sound out of instinct rather than concern. A tiny girl stood with some kind of horned demon and one of the most unfortunate-looking creatures that Aniano had ever seen. It was grey and gangly and had a clammy kind of look about it, even from where Aniano stood. Somehow, the sight made him smile. Maybe he didn't look very special, but at least he didn't look like that kid.
"No no... it was nothing, I don't want a fight." She mumbled hurriedly, grabbing a black Barrett from her suitcase and pulling it over her horns. Her elongated ears pressed against her skull. She noticed the elven girl walking toward her and fearing confrontation she stuffed everything in her cases and snapped them shut, bits of her unmentionables hanging out the edges. She stood up and brushed the dust off her clothes. Getting her baring as the girl approached.
The girl spoke softly, encouraging them to forget and continue with their day. "I completely agree." She stated, reaching out a pale boney hand, to help the boy up. As the elven girl left again she fished into her pocket, pulling out the campus photo map. She passed it to the boy, she bowed quickly before grabbing her bags and hurrying away. She reached the steps of the magical beings dormitory, and slowly and quite awkwardly made her way up the stone stairs. Carefully maneuvering her heavy trunks in her arms, making sure not to fall over.
Ida seemed pleased to hear compliance from behind her. She smirked to her self, happy to stop the maddness before it happened. Her trunk had sunken wheels on the back and rolled against the pavement nicely. As she approached the stairs she flexed her muscles and started drag the trunk, step by step, until she was at the top. She laid the trunk down and turned around and looked at the person behind her, noticing she was having issues. She considered coming back after she was done putting her things in her room, she was used to living out of a trunk, so it wasn't nessicary to unpack everything. She hadn't been sure if she was to be situated with a roommate or not, but she was used to sharing a room, until the recent years where she had the luxury of a suite.
As she entered the mythical beings house, she looked around, seeing the grand premanent structures that had stood there for so many years, never moved from one country to another, like she was used too. Wandering through the hallways, she smiled and nodded to all the different creatures that littered the way. She was wondered if they were friendly and would accept her. She was excited to be seen as her true self, insist of a publicly pleasing human child. She counted aloud the numbers on the room doors and made sure that it was the correct place. Walking into her room, she could smell burned plants, and other odd smells. She let her trunk fall to the floor with a thud and opened up a window.
"This is be a great place, me thinks."
Zero was confused by the small elf girl who spoke to them both nicely. He new a few words what she said but one he had trouble with, lighting? No fighting? Who was fighting? Zero looked a little panicked. He didn't like fighting and her certainly didn't want to start a fight. It never ended well when he got feral. He was surprised when the horned girl helped him up and handed him a map. "Tank you." he tried to say Thank you. He looked at the map then around him, his eyes came across a single eye staring at him. The taller man was broad and muscular. What expensive clothes! Zero realized he had been staring, gave a nervous, hundred jagged tooth smile and ran with his boxes. Once he got around the corner he saw the wave s with an octopus. Finally! He awkwardly pushed the door open with his foot. Wondered the halls till he found his room. He made it into his room then set his boxes down with a huff. Their was a nice sized water tank, a couch, a mini fridge, and a mice sized bathroom. He decided to take a nice soak.

After entering the dark building she stood for a moment in awe, Gazing at the beautiful craftsmanship that went into the Victorian style architecture. She moved down the lantern lit corridor, passing room number and paintings of past alumni, old head masters, and professors. She tuned everyone out completely involved in the artwork. She eventually cane to her dorm room. The number "66" matched the small piece of paper in her trench coat pocket. She reached again into her pocket pulling out an old iron skeleton key and inserting it into the ancient lock of the dark-stained mahogany door. It really was a beautiful school.
She entered the room slowly, a little disappointed at the plain-ness of the grey walls. No doubt the founders left the dorms completely up to the individuals creativity. She could respect that, but she did so enjoy the lovely craftsmanship of the Victorian school. Moved into the mostly empty room and began to unpack. Setting folding her clothes and stacking them on an old looking table. Probably a leftover from last years occupant. After finishing she decided she would explore the campus more. She would get her furniture later. Before leaving she pinned her raven-black hair over her horns. Then she tightened the laces on her books and headed out.
Taking a moment to breath in fresh air she ran her fingers through her hair and realized she had slept with her ears taped. It was protocol to tap back her ears during a show, as people were less impressed with an elf, as with a human child. She turned and walked towards a mirror, tossing her hat onto her trunk. She shook out her hair, and fixed it a little as she tilted her head and smiled at her self. Her room was small but that was what she needed. Too much room would make her feel as if she was drowning. Fixing her clothing and poking at her face, she took another step towards the mirror. Residue could be faintly seen from colours of eyeshadow from past show makeup.
"That might always be there at this rate."
It was time for further exploration. Upon orginally touring the school, it was important to Ida to already know where she was going, but it was not the main paths she wanted to see, it was the history and the more interesting places on the school grounds. A building as old as the one she stood in had to hold some secrets. As she stared at her self in the mirror she kicked backwards her foot hit her trunk in such a way that the latches came undone, and it slowly opened up as the amount of items inside was too much for the space. Grabbing her side bag off the top of the bundles of clothes and props, she shut the trunk again, and walked out the door. Closing the door lightly behind her she looked at the people focusing on their path, and she felt slightly alone. She spoke in a whisper aloud.
"Any one want to go exploring?"
Anna was looking down from her house just across the street of the school. She looked out tired, and a bit ruffled as the kids walked up to the school. She could smell demons, seafood, ovule leaf, and elephants. This was going to be a fun year, so many different people. She fixed her hair and changed from her pajamas into more casual clothes. She grabbed herself a pouch of blood, walked to the front porch and sipped as she watched. Who did these smells belong too? She would watch and wait.
Zero got out of his water tank and changed into dry clothes. OK enough resting, let's look around. Maybe some lunch? He set a few pictures on the desk, threw a few water bottles in a side bag and walked out of his down to the courtyard. He looked at the picture map he was given by the horned one earlier. The lunch room was... that way? He walked past the mystic being dorm and looked up at it for a moment. He hoped he would have at least one friend here. Then he started to walk off. OK past the main building, and across the street were restaurants? His village was helping raise money for him go here, he should get a job for food. He had a hundred dollars for now. Some fish would be nice. He started to walk across.the street when the light was red. He saw a pale lady in the shade watching him closely. He shivered and jogged his way to a sushi place.

As she walked out of the her dorm into the Victorian-styled hallways the door a couple rooms down swung open, and the young elven girl from before hopped out. She asked in a quiet voice if anyone wanted to go exploring. Azaria raised an eye brown in puzzlement, this girl certainly did act strange, she was so cheery every time she had seen her she was smiling. She nodded before taking a few steps toward the hallway. Watching the girl carefully with her amber optics with each step.
Turning her head, she noticed that the young girl with the horns hidden under a hat was walking towards her. She grinned as she shut her door, and nodded towards her. "Coming with me? Maybe there is food waiting for us somewhere. Hopefully the cooking isn't as old as the buildings." Lowering her hand, she patted her purse curiously, making sure she had everything she had needed, including a small map of the campus. She turned towards the end of the hallway she had entered from and started to slowly make her way through the slow moving crowds of people looking for their rooms.
Calling out over her shoulder, she spoke to the girl that Ida assumed had agreed to follow her in her pursuit for adventure. "Don't be afraid of me, I am fairly pleasant, and I won't walk into you like that boy earlier. Whats your name?" She looked at the girls eyes and then back ahead. She was interested in the many forms of creatures that inhabited the school.
The golden haired elven girl smiled when she saw her and encouraged her to follow. She, happily skipped ahead through the crows of creatures in all shapes and colors dimmed under the full lights of the hallway. Azaria paused for a moment weighing her choices, but when the elven girl turned back and called to her over her shoulder she decided to follow. She girl was limber and swayed through the maze of people with ease before reaching the door. As boy with a lightly purple skin tone and antlers opened the door to enter the building she rushed out. Leaving the boy with a look of astonishment on his face. Zarri followed, nodding her head at the boy before stepping out into the sun-light campus. The elven girls was waiting for her on the steps. "Whats your name? She asked. Zarri stood silent again, looking at the girl, not wanting to be rude she answered. "My names Azaria, but if you want you can call me Zarri. And who might yo be?"
As they exited the building, she looked at the girl as she spoke to her. She nodded and repeated the name out loud. "Zarri... I am Ida. And thats what I prefer to be called. What are you studying here? Are you from around here? If not, it's a very lovely area, I visited a few times prior to coming." Taking out her map from underneath her juggling balls and wallet, she unfolded it a few times, and scanned as she started to walk along a pathway, barely noticing the people around her, but she was aware enough to be able to weave through people and not touch them. Smiling at Zarri she nodded and pointed to a building on the map. "Lets check out the dinner hall first, see whats good, and if it would be smarter to eat off campus."
While traveling, Ida had tried many different foods from many different countries. She was excited to try lots of new foods from different creatures. She looked up at the sky and squinted slightly as the light hit her eyes. She smirked as she continued to pose questions. "Am I walking too quickly for you? You can ask me to slow down, I won't be offended."
The old minivan slowly eased into a parking spot, the driver peering out over the steering wheel, making sure her car or a pedestrian, were going to get hurt. Laura sighed as she turned off the engine, she had the feeling this was going to be the last time she'd drive her beloved van for awhile. "Good girl." She whispered, patting the dashboard before swinging out of driver's seat. Be safe, and fine a job for pity's sake! The final parting words of wisdom from her family flashed through her head as she opened the liftgate. The hinges groaned as they were forced to work, one of these days they'd quit working and hit her in the head. Her family had provided her with a small suitcase and she'd added her camping backpack to pack things in. Slinging the canvas bag over her shoulder she grabbed the old suitcase and hauled it out of the trunk. She slammed the liftgate down and looked to her surroundings for the first time, Oh dang She thought, the amount of various species was overwhelming. "This'll be fine, it's just like meeting extended family." She whispered to herself, watching as a girl with horns and a smaller girl walked by, seeming to be on a quest for something, hopefully she'd find a friend in all of this chaos. Before she could get too overwhelmed she walked to the mythical beings house, and clunked her suitcase up the stairs. Beings of all types were going in and out, and she wondered if she'd be able to blend in, she looked human for all intended purposes. The building was beautiful but she didn't stop to admire the architecture, she was on a mission to get to her room and drop off her stuff. "Sorry." she said, looking down as she bumped into a tall figure who looked to be made of all flowers. Before the creature had time to answer Laura continued on her way to room 42 and shoved the door open. The room was small, and she hoped the single bed in the room wasn't a mistake. Her pack was slung off of her back and onto the mattress and she dropped the suitcase unceremoniously on the floor. Not wanting to establish a hermit-like lifestyle she kicked herself out of the room, grabbing the key to the room on the way out and attaching it to her car keys.
ooc/ I wish pings were going out, I missed the start of this.
Zero sat out in at one of the tables with his lunch. He missed home so much. The food here was a poor imitation. He sighed out loud. Mom maid the best sashimi and this place was very crowded. He looked around and saw two familiar faces. He almost choked on his fish, caught himself and looked back at them. Oh dear, the girl he bumped into. He already offended someone and there she was, only feet away. He shrunk down in his seat trying to look as tiny as possible. Just eating in peace, and not looking like a horrible monster as he ate, two things he hoped for but wouldn't likely achieve. Was he breathing? No not really. He should probably do that at some point. Zero was almost panicking, just trying to breath in a manor that didn't make him look creepy. To late.

Zarri followed the blonde elvin girl as she quickly stepped through the hallways of school.Eventually they came to the dining hall. A large brick building with darkwood accents, a few gargoyles playfully hunched over the roof of the building. She entered and saw the hall. It was mostly empty now, still waking up for the semester, A few people sat at the table a mass of screeches and mumble in foreign tongues offended her ears. She reached her hands up and touched them gingerly, not wanting to seem rude. There were a few cooks in the back working on some putrid concoctions, no doubt there would be a variety of foods to fit the needs of all students. But for now it seemed nothing was ready. They decided they would come back in a few days once class started so they exited out the opposite door. The bright sunlight blinded them as they left the building. Suddenly she saw a familiar form out of the corner of her eye. She did a double take to make sure she wasn't seeing things. The boy from earlier was sitting at one of the outdoor tables eating a plate of sushi, she stopped walking dead in her tracks. Staring.
