Azaria continued on the road into the U-distric, hearing her engine begin to whine she decided to stop for a while to give it a rest. She pulled into a strip mall looking for something to eat. It was getting late and she hadn't the chance to eat anything earlier. Parking her scooter, she wandered around the stores. Most of them where closed. No doubt in order to keep the new students out of trouble the first few days. But a particular store caught her eye. The outline was a simple stone laying, and the name was in bright red, the black curtains blocked most of the windows, but she could see some interesting clothing handing on the walls. She debated whether or not to go in. She was currently low on funds and didn't want to see something she desperately wanted but couldn't afford. Eventually her curiosity got the best of her ans she stepped into the low-lit clothing store.
Endora glanced over at the fries with a frown." I don't under stand... potatoes should taste like potatoes..." She muttered with a small laugh before finishing up her food. " I love learning about others though. I love to learn everything about other people, its entertaining." She chuckled and pulled her messenger bag over her shoulder." Exploring the town sounds fun. I haven't been anywhere but the campus so far." She grinned at her new friend and stood picking up her tray of food."Lets go."

Ida picked up her tray and started to walk towards the garbage can, smiling. "If I out wal- Oh. Right. I forgot. You're an elf too. I normally out walk all my companions. It's going to be a little weird having people who are the same as me. I spent so long being different it's weird to blend in, I am sure you must understand." She walked out of the great dinning hall and started to wander towards the road. She pulled out a small map written on a piece of scrap paper. She had a few places marked out on it. Things she knew she'd want to go too, such as the theatre, mall, and so forth. She passed the map to Endora and tilted her head "You pick a place. I drew that map before I came. Don't have room to keep a full map, so if you have troubles reading it... just put your finger on it, and I'll intrept from there." She winked playfully as they walked down the road, behind other people who also were going into town.
Endora laughed and nodded." It's alright, I'm going to have to get use to others who are different around me. Oh, a map. smart Idea Ida." She grinned at her new friend and took the map as she followed the other down the road. Glancing at the map she noticed a few places marked that seemed to peak her interest." How about the theater. " She nodded and passed the map back to Ida." I haven't been in one in years. Once when I was younger one of the elders took me to this town outside of the forest, that was accustomed to getting our sort visiting there. He showed me around and introduced me to a few human things, like the theater and a few stores. It was really interesting." She couldn't help but smile at the memory.

Thinking about the theatre put a bounce in Idas step, and a glint in her eye as she took back her map and placed it in the right spot inside her bag. "What did you see? The circus? A play? I like acting and plays. I never had the time to see much of them. I am rather glad I am taking time away to study here. Have some time to relax!" As they walked along, Ida tried not to be too chatty, or overwhelm the new friend she had made but she couldn't help it. "How does one become an elder? What would you have done if you had stayed there? I suppose it is a very traditional world to live in a clan. I guess the company I worked for was similar to a clan, but not enough elves." She laughed and waited for a response.
( It's ok. It seems seafarer is missing. Is she doesn't come back by tomorrow, wanna go on? )

Azaria entered the store with sense of awe. Black garments hung from the walls, vintage wear from different eras lay on racks in a mass of studs and spikes. She felt the corner of her mouth curve into a smile as she further examined the wares of the shop. After a few minutes she decided to leave to prevent further disappointment, as she walked out the door something caught her eye. Pinned to a cork bulletin board was a white piece of paper. The flyer read "auditions" in bold print, this was exactly what she was looking for. She grabbed the flyer and sprinted out the door. The flyer read "the U-district black box" and the time was half an hour form now. She decided to get there early, learn the information and get herself ready. She didn't want to wast this opportunity.
that sounds fine, I'd like to keep doing :)
(ooc: Sorry guys, I was really swamped with school :S)
Aaron's eyes widened in interest, "wow that must be so cool, transforming into a cougar imagine that, you must have huge stamina, what's it like?" He'd always wanted to be something of a shapeshifter. He didn't consider being a selkie the same thing. After all his powers weren't harnessed by the moon but by the water, not to mention when he did 'change shape' he only changed halfway. Not that he minded, being a fully fledged fish would be not only embarrassing but also terribly inconvenient.
"Oh yeah, I'm starved," he looked over at Zero, the kid didn't look so bright. Kind of sick looking. Aaron didn't really know what to do, illness wasn't exactly a thing he was used to, on the other hand, battle scars and injuries were things he was very familiar with. "Hey kid you okay?" Aaron stopped searching the other boy's face. The kid looked down typing on his phone who relayed the message via the mechanical voice programmed into the device. "Oh, oh, okay." It must have been Aaron's constant prattling that'd given Zero a headache, he opened his mouth to apologize but stopped. It was probably better for Zero if Aaron just shut up.
Laura looked down, "I wish, cougars are sprinters if they need to run at all. The actual species tends to use ambush to take down prey." She told Aaron. "I don't have anything to compare it to, I've grown up in a family of people like me. It's can be useful, but this is the first time I've really been allowed to do anything with it. That statement hit home, she'd been taught to hide her ability, she'd been taught that normal people couldn't be trusted with knowing her ability. It was also dangerous to roam through her home area, some people would have tried taking down the 'dangerous mountain lion'. "I've learned to shift only partially, that's fun, nighttime travels and climbing are a lot easier at least." Laura had used those skills to sneak out at night to hang out with her few friends back home, she wondered if she'd have to do that here. "Sorry." she told Zero, she didn't mean to give him a headache. "We're almost there." she added, pointing to the steps a few feet away. She hoped that whoever was in there wasn't too loud, Zero's headache might get worse even with the help of the pop.
ooc/ Glad you're back, school's a pain. :)
If Zero could understand them he would tell them sharks lurk at the bottom of the the water and lunge at their prey from below. His only transformations are webbing on his hands, his feet are always webbed. He might have even smiled to show the full range of his three hundred jagged teeth. But... he didn't like scaring people. Specifically someone he might have to live with. He didn't know if the girl would be scared , but it wasn't worth the risk. Zero did understand the apologizes. "Not you fault. Much English hurt brain." He gave them a half hearted smile, lips closed of course. When they reached the cafeteria Zero pointed at the soda machine and jogged to it. He grabbed a cup and started mixing soda in a precise order. Sprite, orange, root beer, then cola, He took a sip. Like magic his pain subsided just a little bit. He paid for it quickly and returned to them. He awkwardly stared at them as he sipped. His straw was already half destroyed by Zero's teeth. The straw was leaking a little. Damn shark-ness.

Laura grinned, "You'll get used to it." she said, hoping that he would stop getting a headache and pick up the language soon. She watched him add the flavors together, wondering what the mix tasted like. "One second." she said, heading over to grab some fries and paying for them, returning to their group, wishing they had honey she could dip them in. Noticing the straw's condition she swiped a couple more, smiling at the lady at the counter as she passed by, it would be ridiculous to charge for straws. She offered them to Zero, trying to help. He looked a little better already and she didn't want that to stop, not if he was just starting to actually talk.
Aaron was left standing alone as his new friends rushed off to purchase their respective edibles. His mouth was agape catching flies, he wasn't sure what to do or where to go, was he supposed to follow Zero? Laura? Or was he supposed to stay in place? He opted for the latter. Remaining still as the other's got their food. Once they'd returned he clapped his hands together like a business man at a board meeting. "Alright, get a table I need to get my food." He turned on his heel and entered the canteen area of the cafeteria where the food was on display. Aaron approached one of the cafeteria ladies. "Something raw please milady!" He waited patiently expecting a slab of meat only to have the lunch lady return with vegetables. "Funny, I meant something red and bloody." She turned around and retrieved what Aaron presumed to be a slab of meat and placed it on his tray. Satisfied he paid and went to find his friends. Sitting down he ripped into his meat without a word, occasionally looking up to talk through his food, "Weurm shurld shorm uln movie, unless you have a class, I think I have acting next but I have no idea. What do you have?"
Laura raised her eyebrows, wondering if that meant Aaron was going to get a large plate of food. "Come on, Zero." she said, beckoning him to one of the quieter tables in the room. She pulled out a chair and sat down, watching the other people that were in the room and laughing a little when she saw the lunch lady try to give Aaron vegetables. Her eyes kept sweeping the room as she subconsciously ate her fries. "I don't think either of us could understand that first part." she told him, scooting her chair a little farther away from the meat, she didn't want to get hit with any of the juices. "I don't know if we have classes today, it is move-in day after all." she said, hoping that the institution wouldn't be that cruel. "It's great that you know your schedule though." Truth be told she hadn't even looked at her schedule yet, much less knew what times they were at.
Zero smiled at Laura when she returned to them with extra straws. It was very nice of her, he gave a small bow of the head. "Tank-u." he sat down next to them at the quiet table next to Laura. He replaced his current straw and sipped, still leaving his new straw looking mangled. He hadn't seen the lunch lady try to give Aaron the vegetables but he smelt the raw meat before he reached the table. Zero turned around looking wide eyed and a little primal. He scooter away and sipped furiously at his soda. It was hard not jumping across the table and eating it, along with Aaron's plate and hands. He pinched his nose and tried his hardest to avoid looking at the bloody meal.
