Laura watched as Aaron and Zero communicate using their phones, wondering what he said. Reaching out to shake his hand firmly she smiled a little, nobody had offered her a handshake in a long time. "I'm a therianthrope, shapeshifter if it's easier to say. I'm a cougar sometimes." she told Aaron, nodding her understanding of what he was, although it was mostly just a vague idea rather than complete understanding. "Yep, Laura." she said, thinking hard to understand Zero's broken words, it'd been a long time since she'd had to decipher somebody's broken english. "Both." she corrected, pointing at Aaron and Zero, hoping she'd catch the meaning, and wishing she was better at charades. In her rush to leave her room her phone had been left somewhere in her pile of stuff, a habit she'd developed from not taking her phone to classes when she'd been at normal school. "I just ate, maybe something small." she told Aaron, stepping to the side so she wasn't blocking the boys paths away from the woods.
Azaria watched as the fishboy walked off with a merman. At least he seemed happy, hopefully this guy will keep him from getting lost. She looked around and saw that hte elvgirl had left as well. Though she had no idea where..... she decided that now as the time to explore one of the real reasons she had came here. She took out the a map of the nearby town and located the place she was looking for. Heading back to her dorm she changed her clothing. Her dark trenchcoat with silver buckles and some bondage pants, with ha midrigt top. She teased her hair over her horns to get the spiky look she wanted but with the advantage of hiding her undesirable additions. With her new look accomplished she headed out of the dorm, it was already gettign late and the sun was begining to descend, the shadows were becoming longer, their thin boddies reaching toward her. She fished around in her trenchcoat pockets through odd bits of paper and loose change finally her darkpainted fingernail touched the silver item she desired. Pulling out her keys she hopped on her moped and sped in the direction of the U-district city. Turning onto a dark alley with flashing lights marking the start of the theatre district.
( Hehe thanks, Sea. Zero has and odd way of thinking.)
Zero sighed out loud felling less self-conscious when they both seemed to say yes and point out what they were saying. OK, the merman was Aaron, who did not want to have sex with him, and had scales. Whatever those were. Lauren was the girl. Both, was him and Aaron. He guessed that meant fish people. Well his headache lessened a little. Were the hell they were and what the Lauren wanted would be something nice to know. Zero started to type out a question when Aaron suddenly wrapped and arm around his shoulders. Zero jumped about a half foot in the air. Didn't he just say this was not sexual? Zero tried not to look horrified but instead creeper out.

"Alright cool, to the cafeteria we go!" he responded enthusiastically. He began to walk in the direction of the cafeteria retracing their steps from the park. His arm resting over Zero's shoulders he pulled the boy with him. Laura walked beside him on the other side. "I hope they have some decent food." Aaron mused, he wanted a good slab of raw meet. That was one of the things he'd missed. Raw meat, more specifically human meat. Apparently it was taboo around these parts, he could only guess as to why they didn't take a bite of each other. That was taboo too, eating one another, Aaron himself had had merman before. Some of the nomadic packs were threats to the Selkie city and when they inevitably died the Selkie took them for food. Apparently it was a sign of someone who was uncivilized. And yet it was the Selkie who despite the large berth the humans gave their city were still able to snatch enough to raise a healthy population of a hundred.
He turned to smile at Zero but caught sight of the strange face the other was making at him. Aaron returned the look, a mix of confusion and curiosity. The kid was sweet in an almost pathetic way. Aaron felt like a big brother for once. He remembered as a child he had always dreamed of having a younger brother that he could boss around and teach how to hunt and how to lure humans away from their big boats. Large mechanical monsters that tore the sea in half. Spilled oil and contaminated waters far beyond the human's awareness. The humans devastated vast quantities of wildlife and rather then remedy the problem would spend hours debating on the cheapest quickest option. They disgusted him. They deserved to die.
Yet despite that Aaron was always attracted to them. They were his Klipton? Kipston? Kiston? Whatever it was that was the weakness of Superman. "So," Aaron announced like a CEO starting an important business meeting. The transaction of a lifetime, the highest point in his career. "As my new friends, I offer you the chance of a life time!" he paused for dramatic effect. Certain he had their utmost attention he continued, "Do you want to see my tail?" He hadn't forgotten about Zero's ESL status and typed everything he'd said on his phone for the kid to read. Aaron grinned. He remembered doing stuff like this when he was younger, at the Selkie school, when he forgot he show and tell item he'd show his tail. Of course no one would be impressed but it counted as bringing something.
Aaron laughed, "Only joking, it's not that impressive," Aaron explained more to Laura than Zero, "I'm pretty sure Zero's a lot more impressive when he's underwater."
( Goldy, omg I see you like everywhere, yay for similar taste in rps!)
Laura walked at Aaron's pace, not wanting to get too far ahead, she hated being such a fast walker but it was a habit that was difficult to break. "I hope they have good food too, I have no cooking skills." she replied, not sure how to communicate this to Zero, who seemed to be a bit confused, or something. She wasn't very good at ready facial expressions sometimes. Aaron and Zero seemed to get along really well, and she hoped she'd be able to find somebody like herself, but wasn't going to hold her breath, she'd learned to be adjust to her mostly solitary school life back home. Laura pushed that thought away, this was a new place filled with many different types of people. Aaron's theatrics made her smile, curious as what the 'chance of a lifetime' was before bursting out laughing, "I'm sorry, I really wasn't expecting that." she said, "Maybe someday, or at least after we get something to eat." She resisted saying that she'd like to show off too, despite being taught to not show off in public it was rather difficult to resist when there were horned and winged beings walking around campus. "Both of you probably look a lot different underwater." She'd never seen any sort of underwater being underwater, or at all before meeting these two.
Sea, indeed, at least there's familiar people on the boards
Zero was being dragged along by Aaron and he had no idea what they were saying but they had turned around. He knew that much. Clearly these people didn't have much respect for personal space, even as nice as they were. Zero, as nicely as he could, moved the others arm off of him and walked along side them. He started to smell the familiar cafeteria. "I... eat... befol-re." Zero said out loud. That's when the other spoke proudly and typed something to him. Zero tripped and gave his full horried face and a rather fast shake of his head. He didn't want to see anyone's tail. Of course the spoken part wasn't heard by him at all. Zero was impressive underwater. He was a regular predator, a killing machine, and very confident. The negative version of this Zero. The land made him uncomfortable. A literal fish out of water.

(Ooc: so on tumblr I play the bitchiest bitch in the world (and it's great) but like I'll come back here and be like... how does Aaron act again?)
"Well I know for a fact I don't change much," Aaron was a braggart he loved to talk about himself, he didn't mind talking to others, but he was his own favorite topic, whether it be his shortcomings or successes, he loved to talk about them. "I get scales up to here," he gestured to the middle of his ribs just below his chest. "And then my legs stretch out a couple of inches so I'm taller..." he paused thinking, what else changed about him?
"Oh and I get these cool gills in my neck so I can breath and that's about it..." He was sure he was missing something but couldn't seem to remember it. "Yeah," he agreed, he was moving backwards through the topics. He wanted to talk and if he hadn't addressed conversation about his own appearance he'd miss out on his favorite topic. "Food sounds mighty good." He felt Zero shift under his arm slightly before pushing his arm off completely, Aaron let the arm swing back down to his side. He'd run out of things to talk about, turning to glance behind him he caught the eye of a young woman, well wasn't he popular today? He waved at her, she seemed to be heading in the opposite direction towards town, too bad as he would have liked to get to know her.
Zero began talking again and Aaron returned his attention to the kid, it was hard enough deciphering what he was saying normally let alone when Aaron wasn't paying him all of his attention "Yeah man," Aaron conceded, "But I didn't, remember I went off to bother you?" He talked slowly hoping to get the message across without having to type it out.
Laura tried to imagine Aaron with gills, and a tail, it was proving rather difficult. "That sounds like a sight." she commented, "I definitely change. It's not as fun, though.." she added, "I just look like a normal everyday cougar." There wasn't anything special about her, some of her family had human colored eye, but it was a rare trait. She could tell that Aaron liked talking about himself, and briefly wondered how long he could carry on. Her ear caught Zero's voice, once again struggling to catch his fractured english. "Me too." she told him, poking her head around Aaron, it wouldn't hurt to have more food in hurt to have more food though. "This one just needs something to eat." she pointed at Aaron, hoping Zero had understood what she'd said. "Any ideas what there is to eat?" she asked, looking up to see the cafeteria's entrance getting close. The smells confused her, there were so many different smells, some she suspected weren't going to be pleasant to see.
(OOC: not sure how to continue.... I kind of didn't know what to do)
OOC: Sorry. I'm here if you'll still have me. Had a mental breakdown the past week. Better now. Really truly sorry.
Ida walked around the cafeteria in awe, wondering where the food was. Didn't seem to make much sense to have a place to serve food without any. After several moments looking around, she turned her head and realized she was alone. She seemed a little disheartening but she knew she often lost track of time, and had no idea how long she could have been standing around. She started to poke her head around as she lightly wandered through the cafeteria till she realized she had entered in the wrong door, and that there was plenty of food to be had. Her diet had been very strict at the company, and seeing the different types of food was interesting. She stared at it from afar and tilted her head, reading the names platted over the dishes. One bared an evilish title which peaked her interest. Her father could not pass on his elvish cooking skills; as he had none. Idas mother had always been the cook.
Ida let people pass her as she tried to decide if she was going to eat in the cafeteria or not. She was sure there was other methods of getting food, and other places, but she wasn't sure how much effort she wanted to exert for eating. She would rather meet friends.
Welcome back and people are slowly trickling back to the cafeteria
Zero was lost again as they were talking. The girl seemed to nod at him. He guessed that meant she had eared or knew he had eaten. He was a little creeper out if he is being stalked already. At least she was cute. Aaron was... rambling. And talking. And still talking. He was starting to get a headache. To much English at one time. He rubbed his temples tenderly. He typed into his phone quickly and hit the microphone button. "Head pain. Need soda. the robot voice spike for him. His brain was not enjoying the caulture shock. So much. He was going to have to get used to the energies here. Like everyone started off with a handful of vaccine pills. A little soda would help Zero's brain restart.

I kind of left though because i didn't know what to do.
Endora looked out of the window of the car as it traveled up the driveway to the school she was quite impressed by just how large the grounds around the school were. The driver told her as the pulled through the large gates that all of the forest surrounding the school belonged to it, knowing that made her slightly more comfortable. She could feel her nerves tear apart her stomach, as the pulled into the circular driveway. She stared in awe at all the different people, creatures running around. Wings, tails, feathers, and even a few elves sprinted past her vision. She nodded a thanks at the driver before stepping barefoot out of the car and onto the gravel drive. She pulled her duffle bag out of the back seat before walking to the trunk and pulling out two medium old fashion suitcases. Taking a deep breath she pulled the duffle bag over her bare shoulder and stared at the grounds, she hadn't even been there a minute and she already felt lost. Endora ran a hand through her long white hair before quickly assessing herself, grey corset lace top and her favorite black and grey stripped skirt. Her feet were bare, since she was more comfortable without shoes. She always found then constricting but the few school she had been to when younger had scolded her for not wearing any. Gold anklets sat her her ankles making her smile slightly, they had been her mothers and had been given to her before she died. She took another deep breath and picked up her bags as she started to blindly walk through the hectic courtyard. If anyone had stopped to notice they would have noticed that the young, short elf had no shadow following her through the grass.
She found the Mystic Beings house with little trouble and stood in awe at the Victorian architectural design. Endora smiled as she continued to drag her bags down the old hall ways till she found her room. She sighed in relief glad she was able to find it without much trouble, with her nerves calming down she was able to unpack some and grab her penny whistle pouch before smirking around the room." Welcome to our new home...." She whispered to herself, the shadows around the room rippled slightly causing her to giggle. She stretched her bare arms before pocketing her room key and wallet before turning to explore the rest of the school. She made her way towards the Cafeteria, she had into eaten since the day before and was beginning to get hungry. After getting lost a few times she found her self in a semi crowded cafeteria, she looked around slightly nervous unsure whether or not she wanted to try the unfamiliar dishes. She glanced over and noticed another girl also standing staring at the food. She turned to her with a small smile noticing the other was also a bit taller then herself." I'm not sure whether half of these items are even edible..." Endora motioned to the food laid out.
ooc: hope you don't mind my character interacting with yours :)

OOC: I am standing staring at food, I am in position to tell you that you can't rp with me. Lol.
As Ida stood there reading the dishes names, she heard a voice and turned her head to see a smile and met it with her own. She couldn't help but notice her pale grey skin, but more importantly, her ears were shaped like her own. She had very little interaction with elfs, and more with humans who tried to make her more human. She glanced back at the food and seemed hopeful. "They look good to me, but to be fair, I've always eaten pretty horrible food. They have food for all types of creatures it seems. I wonder if any of it would taste alright. Time for an adventure I suppose, and just try a little bit of it all." She stepped into line, giving space for the girl to follow her. "I'm Ida, are you just starting here as well?"
The line moved faster than she anticipated and an old woman called at her to place her order. She ordered some elvish food, and some human food as she had acquired a taste for human food, and never even tried elvish food. She almost bounced of her heels as she was so excited to try it.
Endora laughed and nodded." I've eaten a bit of human food, but have always kept to my clans dishes.Hope these aren't too horrible." She smiled at her as she walked into the line behind Ida." I'm Endora, or Thorn. Which ever you prefer. Yes I just got here a few hours ago. I've already gotten lost a few times." She placed her order of a few familiar elvish dishes and a few human dishes as well. Despite the oddness of the food she was excited to experience them. She grinned over at Ida, her Heterochromia eyes shinning bright, glad she had found someone to at least talk to for a while. She followed the other to an empty able and sat down.

As she recieved her order from the lunch lady, she walked over to an empty table in the massive hall that was something out of a storybook. She looked down at her mix of human and elvish food. She smile as she picked up her fork. "Endora is a lovely name. To be honest, I have never eaten elvish food. To say that is shameful but my father never learned the art and I was expected to pass as a human child so, I ate human food. It isn't bad, but to be fair, I haven't had anything else. Sorry, I'm rambling. Let us eat." She had been scolded many times to not speak to ramble all the time. Scoldings were sometimes physical, but most people don't bother her anymore. But old memories can vibrant.
She lifted the fork to her mouth and took some of the elvish food and was very surprised. She started to fork it into her mouth and smirked as she finished chewing her mouthful. "Can you tell me if this is good by your standards because this is really good to me." She chuckled a little bit and continued to eat.
Endora smiled brightly at Ida." Thank You, it means fountain. Your's is a beautiful name as well Ida. Oh thats not shameful at all. If you were suppose to pass off as a human child then its expected that you would be raised with more human attributes then elvish. I grew up surrounded by my clan so I mostly ate nothing but elvish food, so human food to me is strange and odd." She looked down at the food and nodded taking a bit out of some french sticks or something. She couldnt really remember what they were called. She knew they were meant to be potatoes but they didn't taste like them. " Oh your fine, ramble away honestly. I always prefer to listen then speak." She smiled at Ida and nodded taking a bite of the elvish dish and grinned. It reminded her of home." Oh, its perfect.. just like the Elder Mai would make for me sometimes." She grinned and nodded continuing to eat the familiar food.

"The thing about human food, is that they are all very particular about who makes it. Like depending on where you are from. I traveled a lot so I got to taste a lot of different types of food." She smiled and was content to know this was how elf people ate. She knew little about her culture as she was taken away from it at such an early age, even more so in elfvish terms. "Those are french fries. If they serve elvish food, you might as well just stick to it." She looked around the room and noticed the busy buzzing happening around them. She finished chewing and smiled back at her. "So what are you studying? Anything fun and cool? this place is pretty cool, I think the culture is a degree in it's self."
Endora nodded and pushed the human food aside and continued to eat the elvish dishes." French.... Fries... how odd.... they are potatoes but they don't taste like potatoes..." She muttered giving the fries one last confused glance before taking a bite of lumbas bread." That's like Elven foor, depending on what race you are and where you live the food changes." She nodded and grinned as she was asked what shes studying." I'm just trying to familiarize my self with the different customs of different cultures at the moment. So much to learn, hard to choose really. What about you?" She looked around the room quite interested in all the different people .

Ida looked down at her bag as she thought about how to answer her question. "Theatre arts I suppose, maybe business, maybe law. I am not entirely sure, but I'd be working in the arts no matter what I actually choose. What does the eleven community do for fun? I think that if you try to learn everything about everyone else you'll go mad. Learning about the world is best experienced by going out into." She salted her fries and started to eat them. She smirked as she remember her comments. "Thats because they're cooked and fried. Fries shouldn't taste like potato. That suggests they are under cooked." She finished up her meal fairly quickly. She pulled the strap of her purse over her shoulder but just sat on the bench, politely waiting for her new buddy to finish. "Learning by experience; we should go on an adventure and explore the town." A grin sweeped across her face as she thought about it. Stretching out she rummaged through her bag, behind all the juggling balls, and looked for her wallet, to make sure she could afford to actually do something if it arose. She started to hum as she waited for the girl to be finished.
