The new one is ugly. His head is really weird and his back tail looks like a flipper.

I like the old one better.. that doesn't happen often, but this new one just looks.. out of place. Kind of like a fish-bird.

Oh dear. :'D I am in LOVE with this for some reason. It looks strange but.. I like it. I'm also fond of how much more.. ducky it looks.

I preferred the head of the old mallarchy, since it was a bit wider and had 'ears.' The tail looks like something from a fish or otter, what with the feather design at the tip.

STIFF. What's with the half-leaning back pose? Individual wing feather things are too thin and stringy, and the shading doesn't help. And more dead eyes? shakes head sadly I only like the feet.

voted old cause just something about those butt feathers just doesn't look right.. Take those away and it would look perfect.. Love the face on it though

Erm... The new looks a little strange. For example, in the old one, you didn't see it's tail so now the look is completely different. Second, they always struck me as tall, and this one looks downright short. Eh... I vote old

Ok. Nice revamp and all, but it just isn't as bright as the old Mallarchy. ._.

The head vs the rest of the body doesn't quite fit. It just looks a little to small and pointy. The rest is nice but I've never been a fan of the pet itself anyway =)

I personally like the orignial design, this new one doesn't feel duck like at all with the tail thing going on there.

Whoever drew the new one deserves a raise and a big pat on the back It looks so real..and not so cutesy! Love it! *hugs them!

Why can't we just get a re-draw instead of a redesign? I really liked the design of the old one, and not so much the new one, even though it is better drawn. I can't speak for everyone, but I know I liked the old guy better ^^

Wow. I love the color on this. o.o Only two things bother me, the wings and the pet's right foot (our left). I know the original pet had its wings spread, but it doesn't seem to work as well in this pose.
