The body shape is a bit off to me...the neck arc/body curve just doesn't fit well. If that were fixed I'd think it was perfect. Otherwise the coloring is excellent and it's very well done, especially the feathers on the wing and the design of the feet.

That doesn't always happen. I remember when the Montre revamp was first brought up, it was immediately turned down by the vast majority (and it was on the top). Same with the various Kumos revamps, until one was found that the vast majority liked.

Generally speaking, however... that does happen a lot. :/

the old one had those two tufts of hair, which made it look cute and devilish, now it looks just plain with one tuft of hair

The head is really throwing me -- I think this revamp needs a revamp. It lost some of the cute factor for strange.

The head on the older one is much better. I don't really like the new one; it's also rather emotionless .. it's kinda just like, "....................." ... yea. The tail is odd, but interesting. I really prefer the older one over this one. I agree that the art is fine on the old one.

Anyways, I'm going to state my opinion on this as I think it's important. THE MALLARCHY DOES NOT NEED A REVAMP. Seriously, the art on it's fine. I don't understand why all of the pets that don't need revamps are getting them, and the pets that do are getting neglected. And what's up with these realistic animal poses? The mallarchy is a subeta pet not a duck.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm ranting, don't get me wrong, the art itself IS good, but the revamp is unneeded is what I'm trying to say.

I really dont think the Mallarchies need a revamp.... why are ALL the pets suddenly being revamped!? I thought only the outdated ones were... the old Mallarchy is fine art.

Hmm...it's really neat looking...I like the wings and tail, but there is just something about it that bugs me...the boring expression? I think thats it...the old one had more personality...I voted old just because I think the new one needs more spunk to it. XD It is wonderfully drawn though...

Everything about it is an improvement, especially the feet, and I'm glad to see you kept the horns on the wings. The tail simply looks strange; I'm not quite sure what could be done to "fix" it, all I can say is it looks a bit weird.

The one part I'm really missing is the old Mallarchy's mohawk-like hair. I thought that really gave him some character and I do not feel it is a Mallarchy without it.

Ooh, I also think that the tail would look more correct if it was pointing downwards as opposed to upwards. I love the art though.

I really like the revamp. The old mallarchy looked like a recolored Donald Duck. The tail is really pretty to me, but it really doesn't look like a birds tail. I like the way it was done, but I think it could be changed to look even better. maybe if it was pulled closer to the body and the 'stump' of the tail was shorter. I'm excited for the recolors like bloodred and hydrus though. =)

maybe it is my warped sense of humor, however i think the new mallarchy is stylish and very impressive compared to the old childish style.. its nice to see the pets of subeta growing up as are the users... I am an old fart with a flare for the new and bold... good work on the new mallarchy thank you for being creative and bold in your new concepts.. may you update the rest of subeta with the same flare for the new age we live in ... here, here i vote YES ...

The revamp art is very nice, the star detail is pretty and I actually enjoy the tail (because I think it is a good way to prove that this is not a duck, it may be based upon a duck, but it's still not a duck). I agree that the wings could be a touch bigger and the expression strikes me as unpleasant--not nearly as happy and curious as the old one--which is why--despite stellar art--I voted old.

It looks so angry Needs to look HAPPY!! Other than that.. eyes look.. freaky.. like they're looking the wrong ways. wings would be better closed, making it more 'duck' like.

I like the new colors but I think either pose could do with something more and or the heads missing something. I love the fact that it's not completely mallard looking and has some grit to it.

He doesn't look as happy as the old one. He needs to be happy and playful. However, I love the colors. The old one is much too plain colorwise. I think this has big potential.

The one thing I always liked about the mallarchy was how playful it seemed. The new one seems a little stiff. I do love the colouring on the wings, though, the brown is a nice addition. I really miss the tuft of feathers on the side of the head.

I love the face and how the tail is now visible in the common colors, but I'm not too fond of the pose. I'd like to see the wings folded down, in a more ducky pose, and then opened up for more expression in the redraws. Still, it's much improved over the original, which wasn't poorly drawn, but just had a bad design.

You know what I just done, I put the new head on the old body! It balances out because the new face is sorta stern, but the old body is comical so he looks somewhere between stern and comical!

No offense, but I don't like this one; the head shape is bizarre and therefore makes the eyes look a little odd along with it... There are a few more nitpicks I would make, but I'll hush there. I liked the old one better, to be honest. ^v^;

I think... That the wings really do look awkward and disproportional. Maybe have them going downward? And the tail is like... Well I don't even know what it's like. Too long, not "duck"like. I don't know. The face is adorable. But, I still ike the old one better.
