I actually like the old one. O.o I think the other one was more of a goofy, silly happy ducky. Now its not the same. Oh well. Its good but I still like the old one ^^;

Its a miracle o.o the mallarchy can be cute, actually look like a duck and match the site all at once! It looks amazing! (is such an understatement!) Infinitely better then the old one. x3

I..don't.. know what to say exactly. Can it be possible to love and hate something at the same time? It's 100% better than the old, but not 100% great. Egads, I'm just confusing myself

First thing I thought when I saw it was "is that a cockatrice?" It was the long serpent like tail and talon looking feel that did it. Not that is bad. Different, but not bad.
The wings look a bit too short, and too stiff at the joint. The span doesn't seem to flow naturally? The curve down at the bill's corner looks like a frown. Like, "well... if I MUST pose frown"
and, the tiny tip of feather sticking up makes the head pointy-ish.

What I LOVE is the coloring!!! All that green on the old one made me feel green. I love that it's standing, rather than looking like it fell on it's rump.
The face looks less Disney now (I kept thinking of Scrooge McDuck), and more natural. Very nice.
I'm also loving the way the star looks on it too. WOW.

So, I voted for new. It's not perfect, but it's far more tolerable than the older one.

This is amazing compared to that old one, the old one so didn't match the site and for some reason literally angered me to look at O-o. Anyways, much better and more tolerable.

Holy crap... O_o Could it be that this Mallarchy appears... cute!? They're actually one of my most hated species, but this new one is very nice. I still wouldn't want one, mind you, but at least if the Mallarchies were changed to looking like this, I wouldn't cringe if one of my pets was zapped into this. I love the colors, the gentleness of the face, and the sleekness of the body overall.

I say great job!

i like the wings but prefered the position of them on the old version. also missing the devil horn type hair tuffs, i quite liked them. otherwise tis superb

The new mallarchy fails HARD. I like the tail, but the face is strange, the pose is awkward, one of the feet is folded strangely and the wings are too busy. The tips of the wings is what kills the wings. I do like the feet, other than the pose, though.

im not overly fond of the tail - looks too...seal like. and the wings are too small in proportion to the head. but still an improvment on the old one

Fix up the face and the body structure a bit, and it's good to go. Right now it kinda looks like someone tried to vivisect duck parts onto a porpoise. XD

I love the new design, I really do. But one of my concerns is the expression; it went from being a very happy Mallarchy to.. sort of a snooty looking one, in my opinion.. either that, or just unhappy. ;^; -hugs it- Also, the wings seem to be sort of in an odd position to me.. but maybe that's just me. ^^; And I think the tail is quite odd.. almost a little too much, maybe..? It looks like it doesn't belong on a Mallarchy.. Plus, I think it looked much better with the white on it's cheeks aswell as around it's eyes.. Otherwise, it looks great. Good work!

the head and the body/wings don't match together. Its like the head is too big or the wings too small. Tail and the details is great just something with the proportions.

Yes. I love this new version, the extension of the feathers and the variations of the wings/tail. But it isn't happy. I miss that expression. But it's just a minor problem. It's wonderful C:

I actually like the previous Mallarchy better, to be honest. The new one is fine and dandy; but the brown and white feathers at the wings and tail -really- bother me. : Also, I can't help but think that from the neck down, it looks awfully like a tadpole. xD; Voted for old.

I just dont like the Mallarchy at all, but this is an improvement. Except for the few things that have already been mentioned...

I like all of it, except for the head. It looks like someone has grabbed the skin on the back of his head and stretched his face back. But the wings/colours are nice.

I miss the feather horns, and the spikes int he wings...I also think the tail is...very very strange...I think the back wing needs to be more to the left, not so close to the other wing. I really just like the previous one, but those are my problems with his one. Though it looks very nice (especially the feet)

it.looks.angry. RUUUHN xD the claws should keep the light colour that the old one has, the darkgreen part of the wings should reach til the tips of the wings like the old one has it, and the cheeks should be creme coloured...like the old one xD i also think the fur feathers should reach a bit more down to the belly and the glittery stuff around the star should be removed again. he needs to smile. and yeah, the eyes are weird. but i really like the idea.

This actually makes me want a mallarchy. Hmm...maybe an alternate species for Ode if I like the new spectrum enough. Way to go, Rah! I absolutely adore the new detailing, although I agree that some larger, more luxurious wings would be great, and the head does seem the tiniest bit pointy; maybe moving the fluff the tiniest bit forwards would reduce that effect? Two additional tiny changes that I think would be nice might be to tweak the mouth just the slightest bit - the mallarchy looks slightly frowny, I think - and reverse the wingclaw: the way it's facing now is evolutionarily unlikely, so to me looks somewhat unnatural. ...Even so, really, really wonderful revamp!

again with the revamps. though i didnt really like the mallarchy because it was...a duck, i dont like the fact that it isnt happy anymore. also what happened to the horns? i thought it made it more unique.

Ok, on the old one, I liked the face. It reminded me of that little duckling from the old Tom and Jerry cartoons. But on the new one, I like how color was added to the wings and how you can see the tail now. Now if only the tail and wings of the new one and the face of the old one could be combined, that would be nice .

Anyways, I voted for the new.

now thats one of a HUGE REVAMP O-O the previous looked just too... dummy? xD the shading is really beautiful but the wings look a lil too small compared to the rest of the body, besides the "greeny" part seems to end from nowhere, shouldnt it go till the end of the wing? o_x

I love the details in the wings, and being able to see its tail is a really nice addition. The head is a bit too pointy though, maybe try making it resemble the old one at least with how the feathers on top of the head go? I like the way the eyes were redrawn though, its just all the feathers making the arrowhead point that throws it off. I'd suggest either completely slick them back, like with a duck, or have them fluff a bit more like the original mallarchy has =)

The eyes bother me. I think it's supposed to be looking up to the right but for some reason it looks cross eyed to me. Everything else about it is a major improvement.

Rah? The only thing I could really suggest to this would be adding a few larger flight feathers to the top of the wing. Maybe that would make the wings look a bit bigger, too...? I haven't tampered with this image in Photoshop, so I don't know for sure. P: Other than that, I think it's cute. I actually like the Mallarchy now instead of being afraid of it...

XD But, if you redraw the GY version, please keep the 'moody roast duck' look...?
