Looks nice, but I could do without the tips on the wings - and that is an extremely boring expression. At least the other pets that just stand there have happy smiles - the mallarchy just kinda... stares. It doesn't look like a fun pet to adopt, it's just kinda there. If it was more happy, it would look a lot more interesting and adorable. Other than that, it looks nice.

I was never going to get a mallard, but the new one scares me...kinda for some reason. The face kinda looks weird, and I'm not too fond with the pointed head, but whatever.

Hmmm, I really love the detail and the new head shape =D I think the wings could stand to be a little longer though, and the tail position seems a bit strange. I would also like to see a happier expression, but this version is definitely an improvement! Good work. ^^

I -love- his new design. It's so much cleaner and more detailed. I like how the pet looks a little more serious--and I freaking LOVE the tail. Such a cute little paddle. xD

Much better that its previous (well, current) incarnation. I hope the revamp goes through. It looked so goofy before.

dies That...is...amazing. I remember how disappointed I was when I saw I didn't like the duck-like pet, but this...now I must consider getting one if the poll goes through positively. Oh, I must get one. I'm not very good at criticizing art, so I'll leave that to those who are.

I like the new Mallarchy! Only thing is the new face makes it look a bit grumpier, but I adore the new body, especially the wongs and feet. ::is wondering what the Reborn one will look like::

Oh wow! Now that's quite the switch. I liked the top of the head for the old one better, probably because this one seems too ... err ... sleak? pointy? I dunno, I'm sure there's a word for it. ^^ But I voted for the new one because the detail is great and I love love love the wings!

I think it is the long line of 'forehead' that is throwing off the head for me, maybe break it up a bit? And the tail just scares me... but I don't quite know the thought behind the thick dragon-ish tail. n.n; But all in all, the art is great, I love the new detailing and the mallarchy SOOOO needed some attention. Cute!! =D

I kinda dislike the new one, I preferred if the original head was kept at least, the new one seems to make the head look elongated and odd...the weird fishy-tail look seven odder, I am happy that the wings are different, the old ones looked plain.

Wow definitely a switch, I'll say that much. Talk about complete and total makeovers, but this one is for the better. I love the new style of it, especially the multicolored wings. It gives it that little extra touch. The elongated tail gives it a unique personality that turns it away from looking completely like a duck. Though i can't help but feel that it's incapable of flight and i'm not to sure if that was the original intent but the wingspan is to short. The wings also feel a tad stiff maybe folding them will make it flow better. As for its face, it seems as though something is off though i can't tell whether its the bill or the eyes. Overall its definitely an amazing piece and it definitely makes the mallarchy a mallarchy instead of just another duck.

Wow, thanks you guys Some lovely comments here - making the wings bigger shouldn't be a problem at all, there's quite a bit of canvas space that I can use I'm suprised to see a lot of people say it's less cute though - the usual thing I get with my revamps is that i've made it too cute!

The tail is indeed a paddle - this Mallarchy is a lot more graceful in the water and it uses its tail paddle to propel itself! I'll see what I can do about the thickness of the tail though!

I'm usually not so blunt about the graphics here, but I'm not liking this Mallarchy. What's up with it's tail? I mean if it is being based off of a duck. The tail is far too long. I know as well, that the pets are made to resemble, but not be a carbon copy too, but yeah, that tail just looks wrong, lol

I do agree that the wings are too small, they need to be longer in proportion to the body. And the tail is a bit long and could use more feathers to match the wings. Otherwise, I love it!

I like the pose and it's drawn well, but it still seems awkward. On the old version, the wings looked like arms. On this potential revamp, the wings look like they're just attatched to the back, nothing more. Also, the tail seems a bit fish-like. I'm not sure if that was the intention or not. (Also, the new colors make it look more duck-like than Subeta-like)

The only really noteworthy things that I dislike are the eyes and the wings. The poor duck wouldn't be able to fly with such small wings.... and the eyes.. just look strange. I love the tail though. Keep it there. x3

There is a weird junk in it's trunk. The only reason I voted to keep the old one. Expression wise, lots of the revamps are looking reserved instead of happy. I don't know why it's the trend, but I guess if you want a happy looking pet, go for a Spectrum or Angelic.

I've always thought the old mallarchy was a bit donald-duckish looking. I love the feathers and colours on this one. There's something a bit odd about the chest, but I could live with it... who knows I may buy an elixir. I like it!

How adorable! -snuggles- The only thing I'm having a problem with, though, is that te wings are too small.
