I think it looks fine.

The only thing I would complain about has already been said: The wings look a little too short to me. But other than that, I think it is a vast improvement.

Just my two cents. The tail doesn't really look like a tail- it looks like a ridiculously long behind. Some definition and tail curvature would do wonders there. Also, I see it was kind of a theme to make the wings comically small in the current version, but here it just makes the Mallarchy look awkward and unintentionally disproportionate. I think it could do with a little more 'fluff' further down on the chest, and am I the only one who thinks it'd look nicer with a little more white on its face, maybe on its cheeks like the current one? I also liked the bit of crest-type fringe on the sides of its head. On the revamp its head looks a bit too angular and pointy. I love the new idea though (and not to mention those feet.)

It's a huge improvement to the old, which I've never liked. The ankles look too thick, especially the one it's standing on. But past that, it's great. I really like the tail, it's just spiffy. xP

It's not quite as happy as the old one. The animation is excellent, but it doesn't scream "love me"! It's more... duckish instead of cute...

I really, really like this revamp. Like... more than any revamp in a long time. XD Ever since the release of the Mallarchy I thought it was outdated and unattractive-looking, and its expression seemed...well... stupid. 8D;; But this version is really cool, I like how much more realistic it looks, and the different colored feathers give it so much more personality; I imagine that in its different colors like Twilight and Dusk and Cream it would give the pet a flair that it didn't have before. The tail is... interesting. XD I think it's a unique addition, so that it doesn't look exactly like just a 'duck'. Since it's an aquatic bird, it gives it the impression of a creature that is more adept at going below water. The species itself is terribly unpopular as it is - I don't know of many people who own them aside from the Graveyard and Chibi, and I think that's mostly because the GY is comical and the Chibi looks almost nothing like the common poses. ^^; The taloned/webbed feet are really cool, too - the feet were one of the most ridiculous things about the current version, in my opinion. XD;

I like it overall, but I wish it had the happy expression of the original... that's what I liked about the old one! This one looks sad or annoyed or something rather than "OMG I'm a cute ducky ^-^" like the old one did, lol.

I also agree that the raised foot doesn't really look like a duck foot at all... and I'm not hugely font of the flight feathers, something about them looks stuff and odd. I think maybe they're too detailed or something. But I LOVE the tail, it's very creative and is just enough to distinguish a Mallarchy from a normal duck ^^

Oh! Also, I wish that the wingspikes would be white again instead of black, since you can barely see them now. ^^

The new one is quite pretty. I really like the addition of the color red to its plumage and I like the fact that it doesn't look like Donald and Daffy's lost triplet. The only things I'd recommend are:

Widen the bill to bring back a bit of the old's enthusiastic smile.
Shorten the shaft of the tail, or at least thin it out some. Right now it makes the body look like it was carved out of a thick crescent moon block, which detracts from the believability of the form.
Make the wings a bit bigger. Right now, they seem sort of...gimpy... compared to the current version.

Other than those three awkward design points, the proposed new design is a nice take.

Very nice . The only things I can think of would be: make the beak a tiny bit longer and soften its eyes so it doesn't have a blank stare. I hope that was what you are looking for .

I voted for the old one. Art wise, this is an improvement, but it just looks a little odd to me. The wings look very weird. They remind me of stumps. Also, the foot that is raised look more like the foot of a vulture, rather than a foot of a duck, which is what the other looks like.

I love the colours in this. The facial expression is really good too. The feet...excellent and the tail is cute! Wings are way too small though.

something about the new tail bugs me...i can't figure it out, maybe its just too fancy or something. But the new feet look great because they have demention and the wings look more like bird wings where as the old ones looked like bat wings, so thats good too. my votes for the new one.

I realy like this A LOT. It's a big improvement. Unlike some, I rather like the new wing design. However, I do agree that the tail is slightly...off.

Other than that, I adore it! Fantastic job.

Eh, it's rather odd looking, but it's a definite improvement in the art department, very smooth! I think it'd look better if it had that happy expression of the old one, and the "sideburns", too. XD And is it me, or do the eyes look as though they're looking in different directions? I think it's just the angle of the face that kinda makes the illusion that they are, though. . .

The new Malarchy has a nice look, but the wings are just off. It just doesn't look like a creature could fly with such small wings - maybe it's just me?

Anyway, I did vote for the newer.

The art is, as usual, really awesome...but...

Er, please shorten the tail? Other than that, it's okay, but I love the old Mallarchy. Also the brown seems a tad out of place - maybe add more brown to the main body.

I love the detail put into the new design... But I have to say that I do not like the tail or the wing tips...It just feels off.... Makes the body look disportionally large compared to the head....Like it is mismatched.. However has a whole I think the new version is a big improvement and voted for it....So kudos to the artist(s) responsible!!!

It looks... so different. The arts loads better, and the new designs fab. But... itll take a little getting used to methinks. However, i do feel the eye should be looking in a different direction, and the wings look a little... odd where they are currently. I think its because you can only see one visable bone, in the "arm" o_0. Also, the tail doesnt look quite right. I cant pinpoint why though.

I adore this redraw.... but a few constructive comments? The head fluff looks off, maybe move it slightly to our left, that way it doesn't look quite so slicked... and the middle tail feather needs to be a little more slender on our right side, that way it looks like it fits the streamline on the body better. I might actually get a mallarchy if this one goes through. XD

I don't like it. Rather, I like the face, but I hate the pose. The whole wings-up-in-the-air thing makes it look rather awkward. I think it'd look better with its wings down, or in a not "I'm trying to fly away but can't get off the ground!" pose at the very least - not necessarily sitting like the old one, but maybe folded against its side in a regular stationary bird pose.
