I really don't care for the new Mallarchy... It looks like a completely different animal. The shape of the body, the head-feathers and eyes, the facial expression, and the wings are all so totally different from the way they were before. It feels like the artist concentrated too hard on making this one look "realistic", and the end result is certainly attractive... It just doesn't look like a Mallarchy. (I'm not even sure why the Mallarchy needs a revamp; there are other pets that could certainly use it more.)

Sorry, just to add one more thing I noticed. The old Mallarchy had a sort of fluff on both sides above the eyes, that made it look like it had devil's horns in the form of feathers, or something. Please keep that too because the new Mallarchy's pointy head looks weird in comparison, and I want to keep Jaihe's design. Thanks!

Tis very beautiful... but..... not the Mallarchy I fell in love with when I first joined (but didn't get). He looks depressed, and I want the old one to win.

The tail is a bit off, kinda looks like dinosaurs tail or something... But the rest is really good! I love the deatail in the star and fact that the beak and feet a bit more realistic of a color.

Beak could be a little longer and looking at it above its left eye, its like a dead slant, maybe throw in a little ruffle? Other than that I love it, but who am I, My Stick figures RULE!!!

Well. I love the pose and shading on the new one, and I must admit I've always wondered what Mallarchy's tails look like XD But I'm voting for the old one. The tail makes it look less like a duck and more like some unnatural... bird-hybrid. Duck's tails don't really look like that. The red markings also didn't use to be there and I don't like them either. The wings look off, and a bit too small. The expression isn't the same goofy one on the old one either. I'd go with some comments I see here that you could just touch up the old one, because I'd really, really hate to see Jaihe revamped this way. Could we have a new revamp please? Until then, I'm voting Old.

The expression seems very boring...

I know you're limited on size, but could the wings be any bigger? The way they are now makes it look sorta like a baby... which might be the point but I'd like 'em bigger.

Otherwise I like this. Surprisingly.

Nice mallarchy but i vote for the old one^^I think the ycan cname for it too..why?I think it is evolved.compare to the old one..it has some extra feathers..Black toe nails..The star on its head has some glitter...but anyway,the old one is cuter and happier^^

Cute, but I much prefer the first one. I am kind of upset that almost everyone taking the poll are voting for the newer one. I like both, but LOVE the first one.

My /only/ beef with this is his eyes aren't pointing in the same direction. Excellent job otherwise, it truly turns the mallarcy 180 degrees.

The tail looks a little like a fish's with the flat feathers on the end, but overall very good. Congrats artists!

speaking as a duck lover, this is simply perfect. I for one think the face is adorable, I love how the feathers atop his head look almost like a flame hairstyle. very cute!

Hm...I really dont care for this. Overall its really nice, but it seems to have lost its cute, friendly look. I preffered when it had the curls on its heaad, too, opposed to this new crest. It looks very pointy, along with its eyes.

Not perfect, but the revamp is very cool. Wings are out of proportion. Am I the only one who actually likes the new tail?

It's a lot better, I think, except that the tail and wings don't seem to match the body. The tail could curve more towards the viewer, and the right wing could curl around more. That might just be me, though. And I don't even own a Mallarchy, so who am I to want a different one? x3

Hm.. pretty, but would be better to use the old style of feathers on its head to be honest. Gave it a bit of character and a devilish look. Now just looks like a plain ol' birdeh. Give the poor guy its horns back. xD

It's an improvement but I don't like the eyes because they look... squinty? If the eyelid above the eye was taken out I think it'd look better. shrug Just an innocent opinion and suggestion.

It's drawn better as far as shading and detail are concerned, but there is absolutely NO personality in it. The pose is very awkward as well. The whole Mallarchy essence really was not captured.

LOVE the detail on the wings, feet, and tail. The body is gorgeous, but it needs that goofy expression with the swirly head feathers of the old one.

Not a fan of this revamp at all, probably because of the odd color scheme. The pose is nice, so is the detailing on the wings and feet, but the face... the eyes look wonky-eyed, and the feathers... not feeling the brown. Stands out too much. Sort of like a sore thumb, too. Though it does look more like a... duck... thing? If that's what you were going for.

This revamp is quite nice... Great improvement on the coloring, too. Though I personally rather liked the expression of the old one more.

Awh, this is some nice coloring and lines and all...but it just does not seem to suit the Mallarchy like the old one did. o: Maybe if the old one was cleaned up a bit, that'll work just as well. :3

Once again, artist's have succeded in shading and colors. But also yet again, the pose fails me. It looks unatural, and depressed. And the eyes look like it's thinking "Whatever!" or something. Please do another revamp!
