Old one looks so cute, but the Redraw looks good too. I voted for the the Old one, by the way. As you can really tell, I like the more(Chibi)ish looks.

It's definitely an improvement. It does resemble a T-Rex more than a Velosotor with a slightly oversized head and thicker body. If it were slimmed down, it would be awesome. The pose is absolutely great for the species, though.

I suppose now that I've had time to calm down and observe the new Velosotor throughly, I can point out the pros and cons about it.

PROS:

~Sickle claws on its feet! Can I say more?
~A more mischievous smile which displays a truer raptor intelligence
~No more deformed chest!
~The neck isn't crooked and looking strange
~The details on the spines, claws, and pelt are beautiful

CONS:

~It's too fat, which gives it the appearance of a t-rex/raptor mix (that's the major thing that bothers me)
~The forearms are tinier than expected, giving it a more t-rex feel here too
~Its nose does look like a beak (but then again, some raptor species do have snouts like that)

Overall, I still love this revamp 10 times more than the original. I cannot wait to see what Bloodred, Graveyard, and Reborn will look like!

I like the revamp better than the old version, the only problem is I don't really like the revamp much. xD I think maybe if you kept the velosotor a bit more original instead of making it to look like a real velociraptor, it'd be better. Atleast in my opinion. The old design had slender, three fingered claws and the hind feet were unique.. Unrealistic, sure, but hey. this is a petsite. Not everything has to be realistic when there's dragons and unicorns floating about. I dont mind the rest of the anatomy because like I said, In a petsite you can get away with stuff. and it doesnt have to be 'just so'.. I dont think people ought to complain about all that. I also think the extra stripes on the face and spines on the tail are a bit too distracting, but again, that's just my opinion.

Just for the sake of argument here, the velosotor is NOT suppose to be a raptor, it's suppose to be a velosotor, so that doesn't mean that it should look exactly as a raptor should. I'm still very happy with it, though I'd rather it have a bit of a smirk instead of a friendly smile. As others have said, not every pet here needs to be cute and cuddly. X3 I can't wait to see the other colors.

I think the back of the head is supposed to be bulky. If it wasn't, it's head would look slender, perhaps more appealing, but not better. I love this revamp. I hope it's not changed to look cuter. It doesn't have to be cuter to be better. Why the name change? I'm not complaining, just curious.

Hmm . . . the more I look at it, the more I don't like it. It's too bulky, the smile makes it look dumb, and the claws (especially the front ones) look blunt. The neck should be long and slender, and the tail needs to be longer as well.

About slender pets - several of the current pets are bulky/fat/have massive muscles, such as the Archan, Dragon, Mortiking, and Dillema. We need more slender pets, not bulky ones.

Oh, no. ;; I have two velosotors, currently, and I really hate the revamp. Sorry, but I just do. And it's obviously going to change. I'll probably end up giving them away if they're revamped... ;_;

The old one was cute (I voted for it by the way), but the new one looks nice overall. The main thing that kept me from voting for the new one was that its neck and head look strange. (The back of the head seems too... bulky.) I love the pose, the shading, and the claws though.

Oh wow, I love how the Velosotor looks now. It looks a lot fresher, and very well-drawn. I can't wait to see how the Spectrum and Graveyard redraws turn out

My only crits is that its muzzle is too beak like, too pointed that and its happy... But then again I like my reptiles ferral and fierce looking xD;; although this is a massive improvement and the anatomy no longer burns my eyes. The pelt is good, the massive claws are love. Over all this is love c:

By "rapt" I assume that would connotate a "raptor". This body and head look more like a larger carnivor. Maybe an allosaurus. The original design looks more raptor like. I think it would be better if it matches the old style that way.

Oh, yeah. And please, please, PLEASE don't revamp the Chibi one. It's adorable. And the color combination on the Twilight one is absolutely beautiful, so don't change the colors on that one. Alright, I'm done, now. xD

It looks awkward, like the torso is WAY too short and that the knee would hit the elbow every time it steps ,but I like the idea. This is my favorite and has been my favorite species..maybe I can finally see some items of them around r_r ahem

I definitely like the idea of a Velosotor revamp, but there's definitely a few changes I would suggest for this one, rather than letting this revamp go through as is.

For one thing: The old Velosotor was cuter/prettier, and this one's totally missing that. Maybe make it a bit cuter/prettier like the old one?

Also, the eyes look kinda empty and expressionless, I'd suggest making them more expressive, and maybe make them a bit bigger, too.

The smile looks a bit crooked and weird, I think you should definitely draw the smile a bit differently.

Also, the way the one toe is up looks good the way it is on the closer foot, but I don't like the way the other foot has it, too. It looks a bit weird with the farther away foot doing that, too, so I'd suggest having all three toes down on the farther away foot.

And the ''hands'' look a little awkward, especially the one on the left side of the picture. (The Velosotor's right ''hand'')

And I don't really think the body is fat, but I think that the neck looks a bit fat, so maybe slim the neck down a bit?

Anyway, I think it's better than the old Velosotor in general, but I don't think that it's quite ready to be put through as a revamp as is.

I think I'd like to see a second poll with this one, like there was for the Tigrean and the Ontra.

I believe the posture and body are much better, but I really REALLY don't like the face, jaw, etc. It just looks weird.

I love the new one. :3 Great job, Exhibitted! n___n I don't think it looks fat at all... There are an awful lot of impossibly skinny pets, and it's nice to see one with a good sized body.

The old one was cute yet cool at the same time, but this one's neither. The expression is blank and the jaw is a bit deforemed. The thing above the eye seems to stand out to much and I don't like the pose. I really think the old one is a WHO:E LOT better, though I must admit they did a good job with the shine and details. :E sigh

I love the new version (and the old was so very very old and in need of prettification); the claws are wonderful and the body has shading now and stuffs.

The only thing I'd like to see a slight change on is the expression; it just looks a bit too . . . kind and beatific to me. I almost expect to see it carrying a plate of cookies to the new neighbor. XD

Other than that, this is made of good and win. Yay.
