Seriously, having a goddess character being ageless and mysterious and solemn is boring, which is why I find the Oracle bland, and the actual goddesses : Merana, defeated by her own hubris, Maleria who proved that curiosity doesn't kill every cat and Shinwa, who is a gossipy hen, much more interesting

No one should be taking opinions about a Subeta character personally... This looks like much more than a "revamp" to me; it looks like a completely new character with "off" proportions (big or small).

I do think it's great that the revamp is giving people confidence in themselves! It is indeed nice to see a NPC as a more realistic person ^^ Personally I don't think she looks very mystical anymore, but that's not to say that I don't appreciate the rework, and hope to see more in the future :')

omg wow. k, this is coming from someone who is stick thin. There is absolutely no one on this thread getting mad at people for being thin like ???? How would you like it if you put on extra weight and someone came up to you and said "lol you have fat arms?" There is absolutely nothing wrong with any body types and the people who are upset at that person for talking about Shinwa's fat arms are not inadvertently saying "if you're skinny then you suck." They are saying it's not nice to call someone fat. Just like it's not nice to call a small person anorexic. There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting upset over a rude comment like saying that someone looks "fat" like it's an insult. Because it is.

To me, it looks like they were trying to make her cheeks a little chubby, but kind of went overboard and they just look swollen. And she doesn't look plus sized to me, at all. I see very thick, muscular arms, a swollen face, and a typical size 8ish body

The thing is Shinwa is not actually wise, she just thinks she's wise. She's also well-intentioned, but rather vain and self-centered. So I think the childish look of the revamp fits her personality.

Sorry to come off as bitchy but I'm getting sick and tired of the whole "fat power" kick that everyone is on now. A body is a body no matter what size it is so just get over yourselves it doesn't make you any more special than anyone else

I love her! The only thing irritating me is that her face is a bit child-like... I dunno, she looked ridiculously young to me at first, but I actually seem to get used to it. Aside from that: love the new tattoos, love the expression, love the hair and love especially that amazing dress!
I don't think she's fat... but the right wrist (our right) looks all blobby, more like an ankle than a wrist. And the left arm looks like it's sticking out towards us, awkwardly. The neck looks too thick, and the head's too big.
So altogether she's rather disproportionate and unpleasant. Also she's not at all in keeping with her previous image. It's not just an updated image with better art, it's a complete overhaul of what most of us think the character's supposed to look like. So yeah, that's probably why a lot of people hate it. She's supposed to be wise and beautiful, not childish and tomboyish. At least I didn't think she was. ~.^
I like the belt-y sash and the eyes are kind, but I think if you're going to stick with the completely new character design, you could at least fix the awkward bits.

All of you that are in here berating people for the fat shaming why don't you take a few minutes to realize that not all real life women are curvy little pudges that outnumber the majority of the population. Some of us are actually thin and in shape and have nice bodies because we work for them and watch our health and what we eat. Just because you think you're a special little snowflake for having a bit of meat on your bones is no reason to put down people simply expressing their opinion over an already established thin character getting bigger for apparently no reason at all.
