I can imagine the artist for the blob either absolutely loves the ability to be really creative, or hates that they need to think of things that are totally different to the 'normal' pet colours ;)

I tried using those toe separators you can get for when you use nail polish (just while I was tidying the nails on my other foot).... it felt ridiculously uncomfortable, so I had to get rid of it :P But maybe that's more because it was separating them too much?

I zap on 3 accounts, but most days I end up with nothing anyways. lol Except for a couple of lucky zaps.

I like how tnt has started making a board before pet days, to get suggestions on colours and wearables. :D

they really help.

I would prefer contacts, since I think I look better without the glasses but that has not worked for me before.

I don't think I've even looked at the choc poogle yet! Too much time spent with no space for more pets, and not wanting to change the colours of the ones I already had :P

Apologies for the absence. Monday was a tough day for me. Saturday night I saw my infected toe turn purple. I totally panicked and cute the bandage off. When i saw how misshapen the toe was, I called the doctor, despite the fact it was very late at night. He informed me he is trying to reshape the toes to avoid the toe shortening surgery he had mentioned. He didn't tell me this so now I felt like a right prat. But he told me I would need to come back in on Monday to have it redone. I went, but had to wait for a long while before I was seen. He's put a sticky spray on my foot and then tape and pushed my toes into a different position. I am in so much pain it is indescribable. On top of the pain from them being realigned I am having intense pain from the sticky substance which is burning as bad as wrap I had cut off. i am resisting with all my might to not remove this damned tape because I know next time I will get a cast--he has already warned me--not as punishment but to allow my body to work on the "repairs" it is trying to do. Walking is nothing sure of agony like trying to walk in shoes that are four sizes too small--and that's just the "good" foot. The one in the cast isn't feeling to comfy with the cast on either. I seriously hope I can sleep at some point because I'm so miserable right now. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Anyway that's my update, such as it is.

Aww, it is not your fault he did not tell you, you shouldn't feel bad about calling. You did the right thing as most would be concerned seing their toe turn purple like that. I hope you get some rest and relief from the pain sooner rather than later. :hugs:

Meh frustrated that what I thought I could eat for lunch and not have any reactions, seems to be making my IBS angry :K so far I seem to be getting a never ending list of things that appear to aggravate it.

I might end up doing that eventually - I quite like the look of the new Lupe colour as well laughs but it might be hard to customise....

At least with the pet colours here, I don't need to worry about how challenging the shape is to work with :P

yeah I told my other doc about it today in my tel-a-health appointment and he was startled at the purple too. LOL he said he would have panicked as well, so that makes me feel better. I was hoping for some pain meds but they are struggling to find me something due to allergies, clashes with other medications or being a controlled substance and would have to go in and get a prescription. How's things going on your end?

You could always play around with it a bit in dress to impress to see how you like customising one. A lot of my poogles are a bit awkward to customise, but I still love them.

That is true. I think they were smart to seperate themselves a bit from neopets by having HAs to customise instead of pets.

nods and they don't have to worry about making new pet species fit existing clothing items either, so the artists can be as creative as they like without worrying it'll break something else! :D

Also true. :D I have to say I do prefer the pets on neopets tho, maybe it is mostly because of nostalgia for me. I am not sure.

I think the style of drawing has a lot to do with it - I find the Neo ones easier to draw than the pets on here.... I think the ones here maybe are more detailed on anatomy, so they're more complex to draw ;)

And the beach look is perfect with that flamingo :D I couldn't resist them, even though that's my csc spending done for a while laughs I take it that Sorn's equally miffed today as well? :P

It depends on the specie too.. I would find draiks difficult with their wings especially and detailed face.

I do like to sit out there with a good book. :D It has not been that warm yet tho.. even tho it is May. lol

that's true, draiks are more challenging to get them looking 'right' although I suppose because we're used to seeing user-drawn versions of those in the NT and art gallery / beauty contest, there's lots of different styles that they still can look ok in ;)

You don't tend to see quite so many user-drawn pets on here, unless they're Subeta standard for overlays (or if there are a lot of them, I'm just not coming across them :P)
