Caterday is like a weekend day - sleep, eat, chill, sleep, have fun. Cats sleep up to 18hrs a day. I could roll with that on the weekends. 😁

Sorry for ghosting. My 40hr week consists of being in front of a monitor the entire time, so I don't fancy being in front if it during the weekend and typing on my phone is annoying. :P If you need to talk, I DO read and I will ALWAYS respond to what I perceive as a cry for help, and i am definitely watching for yours.

Crazy huh? But hey, its done, its got over 3 minutes :o I talked about work ethics, punctuality, time management, organization, appearance, respect and attitude (a little). I did blank out and pause at least once. But the video I ended up with was like my 5th attempt... :P My 15yr old says out of 10 he would give it at least a 7 or 8. I don't know if that is good or bad :P He also says he can tell im very nervous on camera. duh! where does he think he gets his shyness/anxiety from? not dad, who is way more outgoing than me!!

I think videos are almost harder than just speaking in front of class, because you can watch it over and over and you have to LOOK at yourself. It's difficult!

I also did more adulting. And I"m sure I'll pay for it later. I'm already exhausted and I still have 6.5 hrs to stand around at the races later :P I vacuumed and shampooed the floor. Dog peed at least twice this week :( AND I'm doing laundry. AND washing water bottles.

I was honestly surprised it ended up more than 3min because every time I timed myself reading it, It was like 2min, 2.5min etc. NEVER longer than 2.5min. (by that I mean 2 and a half, not 2 min 50sec) Yes! I hate watching myself and also listening to myself. I don't sound like ME to me (you never do sound like yourself, but it IS how others hear you!) I was looking nearly everywhere BUT the camera half the time, not down at a paper, but I'd just like, look away, you know? Or twitch a little or something. Weird facial expressions, I guess I do those in real life and don't realize it? Either that or it was the nerves LOL

Man, I would've probably done at least a dozen videos. I tend to mumble a lot when I'm nervous so it's harder to understand me. I think you did very good for over 3min and probably sound/look better than you realize. We ARE our harshest critics, after all.

What do you do at the races?

Yeah, I probably would have done so many! It's so hard.

Went to a gun shop with Alex today. Definitely.. NOT my place. BUT I did find ear protectors that will actually fit me for my new leaf blower so.. that was fun!

I may end up doing more just to see if I can do better but I kept forgetting what I wanted to say and that was the best I'd done. I stand out in front of the condominiums (why anyone would want to live at a rece track is beyond me, but they do, and others are owned by companies that give tickets/place to party for groups they work with/for,etc. I mostly make sure random people don't go in,(a LOT of people will walk by and some want to explore everything!) and no one parks in the loading/unloading zone out front. Not even Uber drivers or food deliveries are allowed to stay long. Other people in our group supervise other areas, again making sure people don't go where they aren't supposed to or park where they aren't supposed to mostly. Extra security basically for during the races. (I had to take a sit down break. My feet hurt lol) [edit] 9pm Phew. So tired. Eating late dinner. (Zaxbys) probably go to bed early... [edit] 620am Went to bed by 930. Woke at like 3am, but did go back to sleep, and slept til my alarm! Now showered and ready for work (well I have to make tea....) Fought some gelatins last night, looked at my achievement, I have only like almost 300/5000 lol guess i'll fight as I can this week. I don't remember if each set stays when the next wave shows up....

1,144 / 2,500 for minis. But I missed them. :(

Yeah, I got all the minis this morning, and then the 250 achievement for the gliders. I was at 100.

Pasta dinner was tonight. I'm still annoyed with Lily, who's failing three classes, and tomorrow is the last day of the quarter, and then as I was leaving for the pasta dinner, the thighs of my pants ripped open because thicc thighs ruin lives.

I've watched all but 1 video. Half slept my way thru the last one tho. I'm tired. I'll have to re-watch it. It was putting me to sleep. yawn It doesn't help when almost every video pretty much repeats what every other video says. With maybe one or two new things. Ugh on Lily. Nathan is in that boat, he has 3/5 classes he is failing, Lit/Comp VERY BADLY. We are lucky that the teachers here let you make up whatever work whenever. Its annoying to me, but I'm also grateful. I mean, how are they going to learn to DO the work on time, if you let them turn it in in April if it was due in Jan? (but it does keep them from failing the class and having to repeat it).

I"m around 300-400 for Mini's now.

We had pork steaks, rice, veg, and croissants. ARGGGH on the pants. I've had my butt rip open. Its awful.

It's always my thighs that rip open. Every time. Ugh.

I finished the minis and the gliders. DONE. With them. Never have to touch the two of them again.

Also. Like.. I just.. WHY.

And they can't, they can generally make it up within the quarter, but not always, not for every teacher or every class.

Well, tonight was THE pasta dinner. A fundraiser for the music boosters.

Sounds fun. We've done dinners as fundraisers too. I still prefer fireworks 😝 Well we don't do quarters anymore. We do block schedule, which means the class that she has all stretched out in 4 quarters all year, he has to get done in 1 semester. They only have 4 periods, (classes)about 1.5-2(?)hrs long each, each semester. So like he took Spanish, math, social studies and digital technology last semester but has English, science, band and physical conditioning this semester He also has chorus during the "swag" hour all year long. Which if you don't have a class like that it is your study hall period basically.

I have not done any quests today because I've been battling. I'm at 450 for minis and 86 for gliders.

Block scheduling is SO. MUCH. BETTER.

I loved our hour and a half long classes, we got so much done, we learned better, there weren't so many books to carry around.

Yes. I've liked it since they switched to it when my oldest was tenth grade. Only my daughter would have done well with regular 7 class schedule.

GUYS I GOT A LEAFBLOWER TODAY and I'm honestly very excited because I've been ALMOST buying one since my birthday and I don't know why it took so long to actually get one but NOW IT'S HERE and that means when I mow the lawn I can get rid of the grass on the driveway and honestly I am VERY excited about it which I already said OMG look at this there is no punctuation in this entire paragraph which is just a sentence WHATEVER WHEEEEEE

Lol good for you!! Leaf blowers are nice. I like our old one better but the pull cord mess s up. The new one doesn't seem as strong. But now we have a riding mower anyway so just use that to blow all the leaves up and the grass into a pile/line to pick up.
