Man, level 11 of the Battle Quest is gutting my pet right now. Everything it skips to is at least as deadly as whatever I'm first served. Oh, well, guess I need to either get really lucky with which opponent it (re)rolls to or wait for more power-ups. Still good exp with clearing up to 11, at least!
:dmg:light: Please ping me. :dmg:light:There is a significant difficulty jump every five levels. Look forward Grendovil getting his teeth kicked again when you reach level 16!
I'm definitely looking forward to it! Which of his set of teeth, though? 😉

No one serves more humble pie than Lukien
I stopped at 6. I don’t remember why, but it was probably because humble pie was due to be served the next fight.
He has a hot slice ready. I haven't even bothered fighting him yet with oranos.
- Keep at it! You'll be beating 11-15 in no time! Then it'll be onto the next milestone!
Yup! Grendovil is very close to hitting T3 and I just finished getting the second LoSS scroll piece. Now I only need to get 200 kills on Eclipse!
:dmg:light: Please ping me. :dmg:light:time. Battle Quest
[edit] You Won! You have defeated Prodigy Kuuipo earned 3500 EXP Points!

Was finally able to add another freeze scroll to my list and knocked off a few books that were less than an INT stat booster.
If you didn't already know, you can fight eclipse and then fight another easy opponent to heal once you win your battle against eclipse instead of visiting the healer.
Congrats on the intel!
Huh, neat idea. I wonder if it's worth it in terms of time vs just having the healer tab open separately and refreshing after a fight. Still, I see the sP-saving potential. Thanks!
Grats on the intelligence gains! It must get really slow (or at least expensive) later on.

Healer is quicker and for now she's cheap, but her prices go up the more health you have. Although it takes more time, it's cheaper to use a healing potion you can acquire from battling and then battle an easy opponent to full heal. It also helps counts towards opponents you are trying to farm. Instead of leaving eclipse for last, you could have fought him a few times until your health was low and then go fight willowisp to gain your health back, but be that much closer to the scroll. Just something to keep in mind for future.
I've certainly noticed the healer's costs ramping up. If it goes up as much as I think it does, losses will be something to avoid later on. And yeah, that would've been more efficient. It's a shame I didn't think of it when I do think of finishing battles off with a big heal to top myself off, be it from Morosbane or from a healing weapon. Derp!

It's 3 sP per HP to heal. For my big boy, it would cost me 33K to heal him if I went through the healer. For the one off battles, it's not a big deal, but if you are struggling against an opponent it can rack up quickly.
That's ok. There are still plenty of opponents for you to farm. You seem to be picking up things very quickly and doing well for being new to battling. Battling is easy once you do it enough times, but it's not very intuitive in the beginning, especially when the official subeta guides are such trash xD
Ouch, it is as I expected, then. I'll make sure not to struggle against a brand-new foe when I have a low chance of victory.
As for picking up on things, it helps immensely that I did battling on Neopets: it's clear that Keith wanted to replicate that battle system, so the transition was nearly seamless.
:dmg:light: Please ping me. :dmg:light:- Yeah, I like using other opponents to heal to save sP. I recently was working on beating Daemon (also no heal) to get the scroll piece, and I was going back and forth between Daemon and Angry Arnold to heal in between battles.

Just 4 pets left at T8 now.
I wouldn't say not to try. There is always going to come a point where you lose multiple battles because of RNG bad luck, event opponents that will only be around for a short amount of time, or event bosses where you are forced to lose to accumulate damage points.
