Is there a dedicated thread where users can post about usability troubles/suggestions for possible future implementations (if not already in plans) over the new CW shops and the system? The launch thread seems to have been closed and couldn't find any threads linked here.

I'm getting this error a lot while organizing my shop and I'm having a hard time trying to find what item is causing the error since there's so much stuff in my shop right now. So I was wondering if searching/sorting based on quantity is something that is in the plans for the future? I think the saved changes are still going through despite the error message but it does make me a bit paranoid every time. 😂 Trying my best to shift through all the pages and catch the culprit.

[edit] Went through my shop three times, warehoused bunch of items and nothing should be at 0 anymore. Still getting the error, not sure what's causing it.

I would post bug reports in the bug forum - this thread is really for questions with CWs themselves, and I can't help at all with bug reports, haha.

Okay! Initially didn't think it was a bug, just that I was missing something with 0 stock in my shop and was having a hard time finding it. In that case this would be more of a question about if a feature could be implemented in the future. ^^ I'm not getting the error anymore despite not having touched my shop in several hours so don't know what happened there. I will write about a bug report if I encounter it again. 👍

Regardless, sorting based on quantity would be a lovely feature to see in the future! Not sure where is the right place to post about suggestions like that, so I guess that is the question I'm still interested about. :)

Maybe we could get a thread going in the suggestion forums?

I would certainly be okay with that! As long as people realize not every suggestion will be implemented!

Hello, old user returning from a looooong hiatus. Is there an official guide or thread for how CW shops work? My CW releaser experience predates CW shops completely, so I'm doubly confused with some of these new changes from Dec 2020.

My 2 CW items are chilling in my warehouse and I'm not completely clear on how to sell them. Both are from back when the system was "pay $50 up front, get 10 copies, deal with slots yourself; if you want to order more pay another $50, get another 10 copies" etc.

Really my two most pressing questions are:

1. How do I buy my own items if I want more copies for myself/is this still allowed?

2. Can QTY in shop and price be toggled over time? For example, can I put 5 of one item in my shop today at 500 CSC each, locked w/invite only and send 5 invites, and once those are claimed, retire it to my warehouse until I'm ready to sell more in the future? Do I then have to sell at the same price the next time or can I change it? I've never stated a limit on my items, I just hadn't had a chance to order more way back when and then I was fairly inactive for a few years. I'm just wondering if this initial step of setting QTY and price from the warehouse is what determines "item limit"? I saw your comment about falsifying item limits and am confused about how an item limit would even be set.

How do I buy my own items if I want copies? Do I buy them from my own shop at my listed price and then earn a profit off myself?

Hello! I have a question about a potential CW... I have an idea for a CW of a character's tattoo, so it would be a tribute item. It's very simple so I don't think it can even be copyrighted and it would be impossible to make 4 changes to, but due to the simplicity I'm not even sure if that would be required. What are the limits when it comes to something like this? Would it be allowed?

I know a few pages back some discussion about recolors and how different the overlays were was being discussed and I'm not sure what came of that? I realized just now that with the face wipe items I just submitted, the overlays will be 100% different every time (since each face that needs to be wiped is in a different location / etc) Do these qualify as recolors? Or should I be drawing a new item image every time and submitting each one as a new item...?

Hi I had a question about bodymod type items as that is what I'm interested in making, and I don't think I saw any clarification in the guides though maybe missed it. Based on one of the guides, I know CWs have to work for all avatar bases. I've seen bodymod CWs that match specific avatar base skin tones, though they were recolors, so before I assume anything I want to ask if it's allowed for recolors to "match"/go with specific avatar bases? Thanks :D

do you mean for having a body mod made and then having say 8 different recolors that are the same but the skin tone is different to match various skin tones? If so then yes that's allowed :) (like I have a body mod with arms and I have different versions of the same item but the only thing different is the skin tone) hope that is what you mean :)

yep that’s what I mean! So when you did the recolors did you have to release all the different skin tones at once or how did that work? Thanks for answering!!

when I do body mods I normally pick skin tones I personally use XD That's normally 3 and sometimes 2 :) someone paid for a recolor for one of my items and they wanted I think it was base 7? So basically just pick a skin tone you personally use and if you decide later to do recolors (not mandated you don't have to but if you wanted to) then you just release the other recolors in whatever order you'd want :) but you don't have to release all the colors at once if you do recolors :) You can do just "one" that you prefer if that's what you want :)
