Happy 16th Birthday, Subeta!

My favorite memories are ones with my friends! I have met so many wonderful people on this site <3

16 years, huh? I'm bummed that I didn't stick with Subeta when I first joined in 2006. I lost that account entirely.

Subeta has definitely been the site that I've stuck with the longest. Ran in to some friends from other sites, so that's awesome.

I've made some absolutely amazing friends here, as well!

I love, love, love Quest-A-Thons. I loved that Subeta hosted a contest to design a Shopkeep. I love holidays and plots in general, but plots during holidays are super fun.

I dunno, generally speaking I really just love my time here on Subeta.

What I really want are more pets. I just adore them so much. New colors, new pets, more slots..! Every loyalty box I spend on pet slots!

I might come back and make another post later. I really don't have anything constructive right now, lol. My brain is so fried.

Somehow, there's a great gap of time I remember .... not being here? But my account and pets were still here. I think I just logged in to do Bathhouse for like...600 days (and I am glad whenever we get that retroactive Achievement of visiting for a year, I'm well prepared).

I'm glad I came back. My favorite pet was the original Graveyard Manchu and Bloodred Lasirus. If anyone has the old image of the former please LMK.

I love Morostide always. I love buying pixels and just dressing up my little 3/4th HA.

I joined here back with a friend group that... didn't turn out to be friends at all. I've been here by my lonesome more often than not. Also, I feel like I'm always the odd one out, the one mocked, teased, so on.

So I don't interact much.

Watching the site grow for everyone though, the evolution of the art, the plots, the events... however... is what keeps me here.

My favorite things about this site:

1. Content is very much fueled by user suggestion. I am by no means an active participant on the forum and am kind of a nobody, yet when I have suggested wearable items, several of them actually made it on site! That made me feel really good to know that my voice was heard and my suggestions were appreciated. (The ultimate best thing is that the CI of the item that I suggested actually looks a lot like the avatar I usually have. I highly doubt it was intentional, but it definitely makes me feel special regardless! I really treasure that item. ()

2. Diverse NPCs! I love, love, love the promotion of diversity on this site and the wealth of Pride items available to user avatars, too. It warms my Aro Ace heart to see that two NPCs are platonic life partners.

3. Fun holidays! I have been playing on this site for over 11 years. I no longer do much with my pets, but what always keeps me coming back are the fun events and new themed items. It's so exciting seeing all the great content you all come up with. You all do a great job!

That kind of brings up just how well this site appeals to a wide audience. I came over from Neopets (can I say that?) and back when I first joined I was really into pets. Over the years I lost interest in pets, but I still log in to Subeta nearly every day because there are so many other aspects to it that keep me interested.

Thank you for all your hard work, Subeta team! I love this site.

A big memory I have is getting my first angel pet. I fell in love with the angel color when I first saw it (the potion is pretty too!). I decided to get a nice looking angel pet that wasn't very popular.

I grinded quests and eventually got my beloved

I'm also glad for the friends I've made on here. The shoutbox and forums helped me to come out of my shell a bit.

I love the plots as well!

I would love to have another reading drive!!

Happy birthday, Subeta. It's kind of amazing to think that this site's been around for SIXTEEN YEARS. That's over half my life, and honestly? I've spent a ton of time on it, been around for at least ten of those years.

I met the love of my life on here, so it's utterly special to me. I've found other friends and grown closer with the ones I already knew on here, too, and being able to make pets and be happy with them has been a really enjoyable creative endeavor. It's great. Thanks, guys. <3

I love Subeta over the years its grown into a wonderful site, its a grand place to be. The zombie theme is my favorite and have good memories here, I am not to good at art and stuff or the pc. but I have always had help from people on here Thank you to you all . I wish Subeta all the very best, Keith you clever lad well done,xx

i love the community tied events, like the real life pumpkin carving, story, drawing, and baking contest. seeing everyone's creativity and contributions makes me happy to see so many want to engage.

Happy 16th Birthday Subeta! Its been a long ride, we have seen friendships come and go, the rise and fall of other pet sites, but you always persevere and see it through.

You are well organized, your community is mature and kind.

To many more years, I hope the Subeta community continues to prosper and grow.

Another one - Changing my name to Bowie is another fond memory I have of subeta <3 I'd been wanting to for ages so it was such a good day. Hopes and dreams? More battle events! :D

I think my favorite memories are just the small ones when there's a sidewide event and people just start helping out strangers, giving advice of randomly gifting items ^^ Subeta is just a great community =)

Battle of the bands was so much fun. We didn't win, but I still think Metallicats rule!

I have many, many good memories from this site. I've had ups and downs with activity (but that's just how life goes eh?) but always find my way back somehow. My favorite part might be seeing art revamps. It seems like such a weird thing but watching as art gets discreetly updated and then hunting around for an item and noticing something you didn't realise got updated always makes me smile. The artists here are awesome and I love hunting for their stuff :D

My favorite memory is precisely the Plot where our memories faded. It was the first plot, the first event even, that I lived on this site. I've been on pet sites, too many of them to count, for more than a decade. I had NEVER seen something like that. A plot that started affecting our avatars? The uncertainty of it all on the first day, when only a portion of people was affected? Genius

Two of my best memories in Subeta was Esther's and Emma's wedding and Jaxon being revived. I hope Dungarde can get more friends!

As for future wishes, I wanna see a Skin Salon that works similarly to the Hair Salon: we get the standard skin colors for free but we can customize to all possible colors and get new recolorable patterns/tattoos/makeups after paying sp/csc pr getting achievs; the skins tab could be integrated into it, perhaps? 🤔

(though i gotta admit a housing feature where we get to use all that cool furniture and put our pets/human avatars in it wouldn't be all that bad, as unfeasible as it is right now...)

Here's a hope. I realllly miss being able to view friends' and strangers' wishlists and being able to see what I have in my account. It made it so easy to share love and items that were wanted with others. I know a lot of people said it would never come back, but I secretly keep hoping it can somehow. heh. :)
