Tonight I "finished" installing the dishwasher only to discover it stops working after 4 min. I have to wait till Monday to contact Bosch... so I have no choice but to wash dishes tomorrow... pileS

There was a meeting for the volunteers of the garden near my new place so I went and helped out... already had offered and today I got to harvest beans for the food bank they give to.

I still haven't installed the screen for the balcony... but did advance in the setup. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to put it up.

I went to the grocery store since I needed wet food for Gismo. It's expensive there so I only got a small quantity and got a few things for myself... the sorbet I got was supposed to be on special but was charged full price. I went to the service counter and after the person checked... I got it for free :D $10 rule rockes B)

Well that isn't good. No one could install it for you? Not that you did it wrong, but I always want someone else to install stuff like that just in case it doesn't work. so they can't blame me. That sounds really nice :) I am sure those veggies are very appreciated! At least there is no rush on anything :) Free is always good!

I just finished watching that Serengeti documentary I mentioned a bit ago and I loved it, it made me cry several times with both sadness and joy. Watching wild animals behavior, families, struggles and overcoming them is so great. There will be a new episode next week too.

Did you all get something good from the pawn shop? I overspent of course lol. Now I am down to 47 csc. Nothing I can do with that unfortunately.

It would have cost me over $100 to have it installed and I would have been told that it's a problem with the machine that they are not responsible... plus with the electric box hole & the 90 fit problems the person would have told me they couldn't work with what I have and I would have been stuck paying a bill, the thing not even installed. Most likely the motherboard is acting up and will have to be replaced :S

Nope... they don't provide appliances so it's our own and our own responsibility. I'll just have to wait till the company is open and call... most likely they'll have to send a technician.

When things are already installed or used, there is less risk that something is defective from the manufacturer. When appliances are provided in the rent, it's the responsibility of the landlord to repair. However... you won't necessarily get high-end appliances or for them to suit your needs. It is important my fridge has a bottom freezer so that the veggies/fruits are easier for me to reach & see. One time I had chosen not to take appliances but the landlord had not removed the old fridge. When I made it run it had a severe smell of wet paint to the point it was nauseating... glad I didn't take the appliances.

There are advantages & disadvantages of owning vs renting appliances.

I think I decided not to get it after all. IDK I'm really indecisive when it comes to stuff like this. I already have so much clothes I don't use, I might just save the CSC for something else. ;~;

I have never seen an apartment (or house for rent) around here that didn't come with a stove and fridge. Thankfully our two apartments have had nice ones. When my niece bought her house I had been so used to the stove and fridge already being there that I forgot she would have to go out and buy them lol. The last time I was looking at fridges I was shocked at how fancy and expensive so many of them were. Over $2000 for this one 0_0

I get the same way about cws since they're so costly, usually when I'm considering slotting on something new. I think, "am I really going to use this?" I don't have a huge cw wishlist and don't want most things that seem popular, and the cws that I've really really really wanted and saved up for, I've already obtained, so I don't have any "dream cws" that I'm looking out for right now.

I looked into it and Serengeti seems to be a 6 episode docu-series. If they're all like this first one, they will be 1 hour with no commercial interruption on sundays at 8 pm EST. It shows the life stories of various animals, like one story is about a baby elephant who was born and the older brother seems like he feels lost about his role in the clan because his mom isn't babying him anymore, and another story is about a lioness who had cubs outside the pride and was outcasted for it and she struggles to hunt alone for them, and more stories of other animals. I'm looking forward to the next episode for sure.

Well at least you've been able to get some of the ones that you really like! I'm just debating because it's a wig item, and I already have a bunch of wigs that are sort of favorites that I use a lot and IDK if I really need another one, especially one that's expensive. We'll see, I have a couple more days to think about it but right now I probably won't get it.

My fridge is equivalent to a $1,800.00 one if I ever need to replace it. Plus, if I do replace it I'd get an even fancier one... finding the right deals of course ;)

The dishwasher was repaired, yay :) I'm running on low energy these days. I'm hoping that things will quiet down in Sept.

I had an accident while I was on an outing today at a restaurant with a group. The man sitting in front of me abruptly slammed the table into me. Took the wind right out of me and since I was eating winded up chocking a bit. I'm ok but it was equivalent to being hit by a baseball bat. He didn't mean it, he dropped something and wanted to get it... forgetting I was there. I have trouble breathing deeply and laughing. I easily bruise so luckily only Gismo sees me naked :P

Ouch :( you should deff go see a doctor. You could have bruised ribs or something. Bruising a rib is not fun at all. Not too much they can do since it is a bruise, but maybe they can help with pain.
