I am kinda Marvel-ed out right now. So many movies back to back! The only one I am really looking forward to is the next Guardians movie. That probably wont be for another year or two.

I understand the Marvel Fatigue. They seem to be doing a lot of the B list of Marvel characters in Phase 2 as well, so we shall see how good they are. Personally, I am looking forward to Star Wars in December. I am hoping they don't screw it up.

I am a HUGE SW fan, but even I am wary about seeing it. Sure they are bringing back Lando, but are they just going to bump him off?!?!? I do NOT want to see that. The only good things about the new SW to me are Finn and Rose!

Hey Hun :D How have you been?

I'm also looking forward to the new Star Wars, but at the same time IDK with this trilogy lol. Like I do like the characters, but the actual plot is kind of ??? It's like they're just making it up as they go, and now the Emperor is back?

Anyway, we'll see what happens I guess ~

Busy, but good. Cub Scout/Boy Scouts is starting up again as is Church Choir, so my days are starting to fall into some sort of routine again.

They have two options to go with concerning Palpatine, IMO. He can either be a Force Ghost or a clone. They have taken ideas from the older material before for their various series (Admiral Thrawn in Rebels), so taking the idea of Palpatine cloning himself is not too far of a stretch. However, I personally think his character would be better utilized as a Force Ghost.

Lol I guess we'll see, IDK. I haven't really been keeping up with the animated series and stuff, although I want to watch them eventually just haven't really gotten around to it yet. I know they have like some novels and companion pieces to the sequel trilogy too where it explains some more background stuff, but I haven't read those either.

I dunno, I didn't exactly dislike TLJ the way some people did, but I can understand the complaints people made about it feeling like it kind of undid some of the things from TFA like where did Rey come from, who is Snoke, etc. and then after TLJ it seems like that stuff doesn't really matter anymore. I'm reserving final judgement until the last movie is released to see how they handle all of this and how it all comes together. Like I said, I do enjoy the characters, but so far the plot feels like too many different people trying to pull it in different directions.

I am also curious about some of the spin-off Star Wars movies that are being planned though, things that won't be based directly on the Skywalker family storyline. I think it would be cool to have some more stuff set in the Star Wars universe that can stand on its own and doesn't just reference a lot of established characters and events. (I know there's all of the old extended universe stuff, but I mean in terms of movies since those have all been like directly connected so far.)

Yeah That's how I feel about TLJ too. I'm hoping the last movie doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth.

As for Rebels, it is set 5 years before A New Hope. The last season had a lot of references to A New Hope and Rogue One. They did the Battle of Scariff from the point of the characters in Rebels and the ship from Rebels appeared in the Battle of Scariff in Rogue One. My husband is not a Star Wars Fan (he's a Trekkie) but he really enjoyed how Rebels was done.

I would LOVE to see some really good Stand Alone spin-offs in the Star Wars Universe. The Last Mandalorian is being really hyped up, but I am going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD (hopefully) because we are not paying for Disney+

Yeah we'll see how it goes, I guess. At least if it ends up being bad, people can always just watch the original trilogy and the prequels if they want and pretend that the sequel series never happened lol. Or make up their own headcanons for what happens to all the characters after Return of the Jedi, which a lot of people have been doing for years anyway.

The only new characters I really like are Rose and Finn. I do not like Rey anymore. I did at first, but her storyline is so boring, and the whole thing went nowhere! Poe was great in the first movie, but they made him a totaly idiot in TLJ. I guess they wanted to make the women around him look smarter by making him look dumber, but that just came down to them not being straight with him about what was going on. Hair boy is not scary at all! He is deff NO Darth Vader. He just comes across as a spoiled brat! When he was throwing all those hissy fits no one looked terrified of him they just looked annoyed! Darth Vader knew how to create real fear with his calm threatening attitude. He was always in conrol of himself and his feelings. I didn't know about the emperor. I try to avoid all the stuff about a movie if I really want to see it. Not sure I really want to see this one and that is very sad since I love SW so much :(

Glad to hear it! It is good that you are keeping busy :) I have been busy babysitting. Hoping to start up a part time job soon. I have to do a background check before I can start. Hopefully it wont take too long.

I want a Thrawn series! The characters in those books were amazing!

Thanks :D I was glad that it was still available. I have only had to wait on 2 SW names. All of the other ones have been available when I created the pet.

I hope the job interview went well. Ugh...I don't enjoy drug tests. I've only had to take one so far and I sat in there for a while waiting to 'go'. I've heard drinking warm water makes you have to go to the bathroom faster. Oh no :( Of course, when you're in a hurry and need to get something done it seems like the universe is working against you. Hopefully, the carbon monoxide detector was only going off due to a bad battery. I listened to a smoke detector beep nonstop from a dying battery for months on end (it was located on the ceiling next to the stairs) I don't plan to ever work for her again and honestly and I think she is going to have a hard time finding waitstaff next year. There's one kid that has worked for her for 3 years and he told her he's only working weekends next year or working somewhere else. There are days where it feels better, then I walk around too much without a boot on and it hurts worse. The worst thing is when I scrunch my toes without thinking, then get the flare of pain. Our water smells and tastes terrible. I grew up drinking tap water, but I can't drink the water here because it just tastes so bad. And if I let the water sit in a container for over a week, black flakes start forming. I've told Chris multiples times that we need to have a talk with his parents about how bad Labor Day went and that they need to confirm with us in the future that we can actually host. I never got an apology about the strawberry juice being brought, that's what really ticks me off. We spent over $100 on 4 chairs and a table so that we could fit everyone in the kitchen. His brother volunteers us because we have VR (he and his wife pretty much only want to come over for that, they've never invited us to their place.) and we basically have a shooting range in our backyard (perks of living in the country). I will say, I've always had the impression that my MIL is always judging me and doesn't like me as much as she acts. And Chris is now noticing things about his parents that he never noticed before that have pretty much come to light since he married me and got home from his deployment. I too am Marvel-ed out. I'll watch GotG 3 for sure and I'll also watch Suicide Squad 2 (DC) but I'll need to see previews of anything else before I watch it. I'm disappointed that Sony took Spiderman back. Tom Holland made a great Spiderman. All of the kittens are still desperate to be inside and one of them may become a permanent house kitten. Edit: that reminds me, I missed my Subetaversary in August. Better go collect the box.

Hey! I've been MIA most of this summer too, popping on every now and then. Had a somewhat crappy summer, thanks to a diner that I will no longer be working at. Then I had a cough that lasted for about a month.....not sure if it's from another allergic reaction to another crop or if it was a cold. I did get new glasses in July though. They've got purple frames and are more squarish in shape, much different from my rectangular, black frames.

yeah the universe has not been on my side lately :( that job did not work out at all cries The guy who hired me was clueless and I was told things that just were not true. The two women I had to work with were horrible!!!!! The way they handled the job was a mess! Too much stress and pain for too little money! Finally got the detector fixed. That was annoying. I don't blame you at all. I am surprised she is still in business. Awe :( sorry to hear that Hun hugs hope it heals up soon! Ewww that does not sound healthy at all. I would be buying bottled water for everything! I am very paranoid about stuff like that! I would tell his brother that the VR broke and you don't when you will get it fixed/replaced (if ever lol). That is so wrong and rude! Yep sometimes it takes a little distance and a new perspective to really see how people are. I hate when people act like that. If she has a problem with you, she should tell you so that you can try to work it out. Being fake is so annoying. Yeah I will deff see GotG 3. Never saw SS. I agree about Tom! I think he is the best Spiderman so far. Very likeable and I love his aunt. Still haven't found a kitten for Emily :( Congrats on the Subetaversary! Hope I covered everything lol.
