I'm sorry, that's terrible! No job should be that stressful or hard on a person. Hopefully, something better comes along soon. That's good. I think the battery in my smoke detector just finally ran out of juice...either that or Chris removed it when returned home from his deployment. I actually am too. She doesn't like change, so she keeps items on the menu, even if they don't sell well, because she doesn't want to change anything. She worked at this diner for 12 years before she bought it and has owned it for 3 years, so that's part of the problem. Her aunt recommended that she upgrade her POS system to one that has all the prices uploaded in the system and she refused because everyone is supposed to memorize the prices. When the fiasco went down in July, she claimed she didn't have enough money to pay another cook if she was able to hire one, yet she pays her mom for whatever hours she puts on her timecard. I hope it starts to heal up soon as well. Hopefully. I'll be able to sit around the house and rest this week. I use tap water for cooking but I get filtered water for drinking. When we first moved in, I stopped drinking water for a while because it tasted so bad from the tap. I wish, but Chris seems to turn into someone else when his family is around. He agrees to one thing before they show up and then that agreement goes out the window once they are here. Like I thought we had decided that his little brother wouldn't touch the VR, but he got to mess with it for about 30 minutes. And after lunch, I got told to lose my attitude (granted I had a migraine and had just dealt with people using my stuff and contaminating my house with strawberries with no apology), so it felt like I wasn't allowed to have my own feelings. I still need to talk to Chris about that because it happens almost every time his family is around. When Chris and I first started dating, his dad would never give me a hug, so I thought they didn't like me all that much. Then it came out that he didn't give me a hug because he thought I wasn't ok with it. The MIL would never tell me outright if she has a problem with me, she prefers to keep things to herself, I guess. She always claims she never knows what to get me for Christmas, so I always get stuff that either doesn't fit or is something I don't need/use. So, it just seems like she doesn't really want to take the time to know me. Suicide Squad is a decent movie. The cast for SS2 was just announced a couple of days ago and only a handful are returning from the first movie. Don't know who is playing who out of the new cast but Nathan Fillion will be in SS2. Tom just portrays the smart, yet awkward teenage superhero so well. I've never watched the other 2 versions of Spiderman, they just never grabbed my interest. :( If you weren't so far away, I'd let you pick one of the 7 I have in my garage. Thanks! I always forget about it every year. It's sometime in August and I always remember it September. I used the loyalty crate to recolor one of my pets. I'm going to a local Ren Fest this Saturday, so I need to get my butt in gear and work on my outfit.

Sorry it’s been so crummy! I hope you’ve been able to have pockets of joy here and there at least. Your glasses sound pretty though! Oh btw I think we had talked about the blue light filter stuff on glasses (or something like that) and I have a second pair of glasses that I mostly wear at work with the blue blocker on them and dude they actually help! I put them on if I notice I’m getting a headache or that my eyes are bothering me and it definitely makes a difference. I hope your new glasses are working well for you! I’ve heard that pineapple helps with a cough actually so if you get another cough, you could try it? My coworker Hannah has a cough right now and I had her try some pineapple orange banana juice and it actually helped her for a little while! Haha, you missed your anniversary too? Same here. Mine was in June lol. I almost used the box to change my username but decided I would get more use out of the gold account time. Especially with morostide coming!

I've been at work all day so of course that's when everything happens. And I have no idea what's going on or what to do. Is there a plot? A Story? Is there a guide somewhere? I don't see anything on the forums.

It's just a choose your own adventure sort of story, you can read through it an pick whatever choices you want, there isn't really like a right or wrong answer I think. I won't really have time to go through it myself until this weekend.

Yes thanks I found the wizard right away but wasn't sure which answers to choose. I hate it when something new starts during the week since I work full time Mon-Fri and don't really have time to do much until the weekend either. Have no idea which opponents I should battle. The cakes are nice. "Unlocked Warping Wizard! Finish the anniversary Warping Wizard Adventure!" Guess you get the achievement just by answering questions until you get to the end.

People want new things. Bad tasting water deff can't be good for you :( Could it be a plumbing issue? I hate when that happens. You get everything worked out and want to present a united front, but then you are left twisting in the wind. Not a good situation to be in at all. How long have you known them? I wish I had better advice, but some people are just stuck in their ways and never change. Are the new actors going to be new characters or are they just replacing the other actors in the same roles? Yeah Tom is the perfect high school Spider Man :D I only saw the Tobey movies. The first one or two were pretty good, but the 3rd was just meh. Not really interested in the other movies with Andrew (is that his name?). Awe thanks hugs we just have to keep looking and hoping! I usually remember in August and then forget right around the time I get it in Sept lol. oooh that sounds interesting. I have never been to one before. Always wanted to though.

Glad to hear you’re well! Could be better, could be worse. shrug Just trying to find my “pockets of joy” as Jonathan Van Ness calls them. (I’m a little bit in love with the Queer Eye show, those guys are so sweet and funny). Hockey is back so that’s always a bright spot! Crafting is fun too, I’ve been tie dyeing stuff and using fabric markers to make graphic tees.

Pretty much the same for me too. Just needing to find some joy! I used to love that show! I haven't watched the new cast yet. Oh that sounds cool :)
