It just depends what would be more useful for your battle set, I guess. I know it can be hard keeping track of what everything does and what's good or not though. Battling at higher levels can get tough and expensive to keep up with. ;~;

Last night I did another 500 battles for a total of 2000 now. They moved the goal post so far this year that it doesn't matter how much I improved since last time, I still have to do more battles than last year Dx Total damage now is 9,225,326

It's hard to build up the motivation when I already have an extra Core, but I am going to try and force myself to get to at least like 600-800 battles today, if I can lol.

What keeps me going is the idea that there could be a new and hidden secondary top prize alongside the core. It may be unlikely, but I'm doing it just in case lol. I don't want to miss out on much if I can help it.

Yeah true. I also don't know what the thresholds will be for the other prizes, but I know if you get to 15 mil then you should qualify for everything, because I really doubt there will be any prizes above the Core level.

I'm pretty sure there will be at least a couple of new prizes this year, since I saw them in the item directory. But I don't know how much damage will be required for them, or how they'll compare with the levels of the older prizes.

Man I messed up yesterday lol, my internet started getting slow and dying so I only got 300 battles in. I really need to do like 500 today and get the rest tomorrow. I'm cutting it close x.x I think I need 3,000 wins total to get 15mil and I'm at 2,300 right now.

I hoped they would too, since it's a wearable I wanted it in my wardrobe and to use for the genetech combo... If they do put out more, like the core, I don't doubt that they would create a new genetech combo that uses it. I assume that's what the new genetech maniacal slappy hand is for, getting extra cores used up.

I might use an extra core for the ME (think that is what it is) but I doubt I would ever make that hand thing. If I don't get another concoction, I am just going to pass on my extra core to my friend :D she is finally getting into battling!

Congrats on 12 years! I think I need that new background for my sharky HA. Do you think it's worth it to go very far above the 15 mil mark? I'm at 15.5 right now. - I pounded out some wins on my phone at work yesterday (shhhh) and hit the 15 mil mark. I can't decide if I want to use the slappy hand as it is or combine it with the core for the new genotech weapon. Hmm.

Yeah I haven't decided what to do with mine either. I wish they would stop coming out with uses for the core. It is hard enough to get one for most people.

Luckily I have Supernatural on Netflix to watch while I battle :D I only have 500 wins (all years total) against the minis. Maybe I will get that one next time.

I highly doubt they would have any prizes for getting more than 15 million. The Core is always the highest level prize, so any other prizes would be awarded for the same amount or lower. And most people will probably just stop once they reach the goal anyway.

Thanks, and I really like the damage tracker this year for how frequent we can check. Every 12 hours last time was an anxious thing. Aw man 3000 was not enough, I have 13,831,099 damage now. Only a few hundred more battles and I can get it. Possibly tonight. I've got an audiobook going again :P

Same, once I get a concoction (next year, I just can't get the last 2 wins on those wizards right now) I can create a ME but I will have an extra core I'm considering letting my friend borrow for the indefinite future if her pet is strong enough to use it - since even if I do ever make that maniacal slappy hand it will be a while before I can get the green slappy hand to make it in the first place. The core will be a huge help in getting her pet stronger and some day she'll be able to earn her own core. A few years ago she lent me her Malerias Claw before I had my own and I used it to mass-feed my gourmand.

This is the first year I managed to get a hand. Last year I couldn't even beat him one time. I need to look up the stats of the core. I think my friend can use it since her pet is T11. That was really nice of your friend to do that for you :) Is the claw worth buying to use as a weapon?

3260 battles 15,043,441 damage collapses now I can relax tomorrow and enjoy the beginning of shark week :D

I don't know much about weapons, or battling in general lol which is probably why it took me so many battles to finally finish the hydra. The claw helped me when I didn't have anything more powerful since it's only tier 6 and it's certainly helpful for mass-feeding. I think I only got my own so I wouldn't pester my friend with borrowing hers so much. It's not in my usual set though.
