Found out Husband won't be able to be paid to take care of me. Apparently the state did away with that recently (??) and it is no longer a thing. What he CAN do is go through a long, lengthy, pain-in-the-ass process to be part of a program that would pay him, sounds great right? Only problem is, they will (taking into account what i get paid via disability) only cover up to a certain amount - so Husband would get a grand whopping $4. BLEH.
Did an EEG about 2 weeks ago or so, in an attempt to try to figure out why i'm passing out so frequently. So the EEG itself was annoying and decently intense, when we got to the deep breathing part (after the flashing lights) i just about passed out. There was even a part of time where i was laying there and i lost the feeling in my toes! That was scary. Everything from the balls of my feet to the tips of my toes - GONE, like it just didn't exist. Thankfully that ended after a few minutes but phew, that was scary. So we were pretty damn sure we were going to get some decent test results back from this. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The EEG is really designed for seizures and the like, not really what i need, so nothing really came of it. BLEH.
Husband's PC bit the dust. RIP. So scrambling to attempt to rebuild. ;_;

i have lost approximately 72 pounds in the last year! This is GREAT!!!! Yay! What sparked it wasn't great (Got very VERY sick, literally ate nothing except drank cranberry juice??? for 3 weeks straight) but! Husband was recently diagnosed Type-2 Diabetic so we've been following that kind of diet (i'm not that kind of person who's like "Hey you enjoy your broccoli while i indulge in pizza and chocolate cake" nah that's shitty) So we've both been getting healthier! Yay~!
Husband has found a site that pays for assorted things such as doing surveys and the like and is making a little bit of cash here and there and we are squeaking by, being as frugal as possible as always, and taking that frugality to the greatest extent possible! With the help of what He's made he managed to score a cheap hard drive with the amazon Prime Day deals, so yay! He's got a laptop his mother sent, it's not very good, old and crusty and doesn't run much of anything on it, but it's something until we get His PC up and running. A friend is sending us some parts, hopefully, they've been sick so haven't been able to get to the mail center, so fingers crossed soon, and then His PC will be as good as new. Ish. lmfao.
So yea, that's everything up to now as it stands with me, yea i know TL;DR, but fuck you idc here's my life story read it or don't xD
i love you guys, i hope you're havin' a great time, and i'm curled up under the AC, re-earning SubetaMons after buying a beautifully cheap (and by cheap i mean like, 40% off, but still) which wiped me tf out of sP. Time to get back to the grind.

and Same here I go shopping late in the evening or early morning. I dread leaving work at 4 PM it is so hot. I has been 92 here today for a change. Last week was the upper 90's. Melting. I can not wait till fall.
Hey Hun hugs Sorry to hear about that :( The gov really sucks sometimes. They just don't understand how rough it can be for all for us when we are struggling. For some odd reason they all assume we can live on $10 a month or something. I would love to see them live off what most of us have to! What kind of a site is it? I always get nervous about things like that. Good luck with the PC! Dang I wish I had known you wanted the . I would have given you one! I have a few loyalty points laying around :D
I need to go to the store tonight, but it has been raining for the past hour. Not just a nice steady rain, but a downpour. The parking lot is already flooded up underneath my car :(

Oh and it gets better! We're doing our SNAP (foodstamps) renewal and they're like "OKAY we only look at $500 for Rent and Utilities, anything after that doesn't matter~!" and i'm like "Ok...well...my Rent in and of itself is like $850 tho? So like....???" IT'S SO STUPID -_-; But whatever. bah humbugs it Government stuff is dumb, where's my barter system at?
The site is gain.gg and it's completely legit from what we see. He's using it and it's paying out, you can cash out at ANY time, no matter how much you've earned (You got 40 cents and want it? GET IT! woo!) straight to paypal (at least that's what we use, there's other stuff too, i think you can get like, amazon gift cards and bitcoin and other kindsa stuff idk i don't do stuff on it heh) and the surveys are way better than most other sites we've tried, a LOT more that actually accept and go through instead of kicking you out. idk it's a good site and we've made $ so i'm happy. i have a referral link if you want it winku

Yeah it is insane that they think we pay so little in rent/mortgage, I would love to know where they live for so little! We pay $550 for our tiny one room apartment and the owners have raised the rent for new people coming in. $4 is just an insult. Hi! I am so sorry you are having it so bad. The Government sucks on food stamps I know. :( When my husband was laid off they gave us $70 a month for 3 people for 3 months. His unemployment check barely paid the rent. The food stamp place told us to sell our house to buy food. If you want to put your Lovely Moon Charm in a shop I will send you one in trades.
Yes thankfully :) I deff did not want to go out today. It is way too hot. Well hopefully the heat will help dry up the parking lot lol. Rent is crazy! If we have to move from here, then I don't know what we will do. This is the cheapest place that I know of and we can barely afford this.

I've been dealing with RL emergencies but things have calmed down.
I don't want to get into it but the big highlights: Move took 15 hrs (not normal, did 2 other moves with more stuff and they were each 1/3 of the time). I was refunded 4 hrs... but the agony of it all. I've moved, I'm alive, want to focus on the future and not whine about the past cuz there's a LOT of freaking whining in this building and I don't want to surround myself with negativity cuz it's affecting me.
Had issues with air conditioning. Gismo and I became ill, Gismo gave my aunt & I a scare he was feeling so unwell. Aunt resolved issue, I now have air conditioning. Gismo & I are doing better.
There's a mega tone of other RL stuff but I don't want to chat, I just want to recoup.

I went to my old garden yesterday. Spent most of the morning weeding, watering, and harvesting. It's a slow harvest this year due to the weather; however, I'm getting some nice surprises like sunberry tomatoes :D
Gismo and I are doing better now that the air conditioner is up and running.
Will you get all the veggies from this year and then that's it? Do you have a garden spot for next year?
I would be melting without air. I just wish we had more than this little wall unit. It is almost 100 degrees here :( it is going to be even hotter tomorrow.
This year I have 3 gardens Phenix (collective, everyone shares) Oscar (last year, no longer in sector) Saint-Sulpice (new, about 15 min walk from my place)
I'll be losing Oscar but the rest I'm keeping.
Oh ok :) it is great that you are only losing one. I wish I could have a garden. It would help a lot with food costs. Not sure about this year since the weather has been so crazy!
So far I spent a lot and it hasn't yielded much due to the weather. It also takes a lot of time, energy, health, etc. The reason I got St-Sul. is because I can't keep Oscar... transition year to prepare the soil for next year but it's rough since it's clay soil in the new garden (very hard to work with). Got some good news of my own today ~
We had an old hard drive from a very old computer that's pretty much busted, we had tried to see if we could manage to get the files off of it ourselves but it's been too old and unused for so long it would be pretty hard to do. My mom was a bit upset because it had all our old family photos on it.
But we've been visiting my grandma this week and she just so happened to mention that one of our uncles had just been helping her with another hard drive from a very old computer we had given her, and they managed to get like 10 years' worth of photos off of it and onto a flash drive. It's pretty much all of the old photos we were missing! So I just managed to copy them all onto my own laptop to bring home with us to get copies for my mom and brother. I think we're still missing some of the really old photos, but it's still better than nothing. Yay!
