Aha it appears I lied. The Maniacal Absorption is random, so while many of the times I looked at it it didn't absorb Earth, sometimes it does.

I am starting to do that now, because it didn't occur to me before LOL

I normally start all my battles with Freeze+Blast+Cobalt, so I kept forgetting to move things around with my weapon during battle, so I moved them in the customize set page before the battle :P

Ditch Cobalts. Aftershocks and freezing scrolls are the ones to go with :) We'll die anyway so I don't bother much with defence tbh.

I put a freezer and the flame thing for the curse in turn one, bear head bomb and cronus turn two, then cronus and trident until I die, with scrolls in an order I picked and I don't change anything

All I have from what you mentioned is the Trident :P

Shriek of Despair is cheap and high freeze ratio(upwards of 80%) at relatively low AP, though I run multiple Void for the block and attack included(at 50 AP, so be wary).

Thanks, I do a hefty amount per battle, so it takes a while to lose. 130k - 150k damage is the best range of damage that I've done during previous boss battles. Not counting this time around. Gonna see if my other 13s can score some serious points this time.

I know it's an ongoing project, but is there any custom CSS that lets us expand the text box or move the damage to the top (hah hopeful) at all? Would help to see how much damage I'm doing each turn to work out how long I need to battle haha. :)

Here's my set if you want to replicate. Shriek is cheap at the moment so I'd recommend investing in at least one. Have you won the Psycho?

A freezer Bear Head Bomb for bomb (or you can use Nachos Secret Stuff + another heavy hitting bomb/ weapon) Blessed Trident + Natasha for attackers (you can replace Nat with another heavy hitting weapon. Paintbrush blades do 36-44 icons and come with 4 mod slots, which well almost rival a godly :P) RV + STS If there's any space left in your set, you can put a Captured Eternal Flame there.

Scrolls: Aftershocks Psycho Shriek Gale Force (battle shop)

When I run out of freezing scrolls I just use Aftershocks until I die. I don't bother with defensive scrolls. Basically just use anything that has some freeze chance/ attack on it. Don't use pure defensive things except for full blockers to set up freezes.

Ohhh if you scroll to the bottom it doesn't move much. Hmmm. This could work. I might record my damage across ~25 battles and extrapolate from there.

I will have to invest in bombs and Natasha along with all the scrolls and the Flame, because I'm not near to beat it out of Flamagia yet.

I've been using OHS+Swash, do you recommend me swapping either for PBB? :o I thought these would do better lol

Okay - I am officially an idiot - AoN plus STS plus 100% freezer (need to change from Intricate Energized Helmet to Deluxe Death Shard to add a little more damage) plus one Perilous Whirlpool Scroll (thank you - Tos sends her love to Killer Threat and wants him to know it actually got a freeze the first time she used it!) results in some better numbers. (Unfortunately, I missed my first round damage, and have forgotten the total in my excitement, but it was much better. Probably still not good enough to earn a core this year, but enough to reconsider doing more battling. :-) )

trident + pbb would probably be your best bet. you don't need to worry about heal and defense so much

Captured Eternal Flame goes for ~7 mil atm, which is quite cheap so you can def get one of those. Nachos Secret Stuff I believe both of us got a copy some time back while we were chatting with on the board? Don't use OHS, Trident hits harder. If you must, you can use Trident + Swash. PBB do the job when you've got only 1 godly. I'd go with Swash for the curse over PBB any day.
