I'm estimating 5000 battles with ~1000 damage per battle minimum (unless I get unlucky, but I'm also getting some 2000-3000 battles).

Also a tip for tracking damage, use google sheets or excel. Just incase you mistype into a calculator. Type your numbers into the A column and in the B column use =SUM(A:A)

I love this format for the gelly boss. Oh boy, I'm gonna be battling for forever. Should def get a core again. Curious about other prizes with other pets.

Okay... let me see if I got this right... I've only done 11 battles/losses

Loss 10 - 52,014 in damages Loss 11 - 72,646 in damages 124,660 total for two battles.

This is me, writing down the damages per turn.
Let's say I do an estimate of about 50,000 per battle divided by 5,000,000... that means I need to do 100 battles, maybe 150 to be on the safe side.

Is my calculations correct? I'll probably do 200 in case I'm way off.

181k most damage in a battle so far. Seem to be averaging around 50-80k when he doesn't super-nuke me in the first dozen turns, so feeling comfortable with 105 battles so far. Probably going to aim for 160 or so to be absolutely positive my earlier deaths don't interfere and low-ball me by mistake.

Alright, just finished capping the last 4 cash shop challengers that I've delayed battling. Ok, ready for gellies.

Yup. Had to slow down a bit around the 70th battle to actually read the news post, since I just signed on by chance and saw the headline 'GELATIN WAR' and then 'HYDRAGELLOS' and flew straight into panic mode haha. So many initial kinks since I had to fix my battle set then it hadn't pre-selected anything and just agh, it was the worst start to a boss battle session I've had since Kiyo. Once I calmed down some I started to tally up the numbers first in wordpad and then straight into the calculator for multiple battles, and now I'm just keeping track mentally by the thousands, discarding anything in the hundreds and below, and at the end jotting down the final count. Past few battles have given me 91k, 90k, 73k so far.

That's neat that you can battle on your phone like that though. Is it just easier/more convenient or is it also faster?

To me, tapping on the screen is much faster and it stay in place so I just keep tapping away until I get the red button. Then off I go to the healer in another tab and then back to the tab and fight challenger again. I'll aim for 50-70 battles a day and try to do the quest-a-thon too. I also stopped jotting down the damage amounts. That was too time consuming. So I'll end up doing more battles to compensate for the inaccurate damage amounts.

Plus I can do it in bed. I usually do my BQs on the bus.

Best weapons against Hydragellos? :P
