Thanks . I just finished battle 80. My damage average has gone up to 4900, and I've done 400k damage, give or take.

However, I'm having a massive headache right now, not sure if it's because of the fighting, or because I forgot to have breakfast (just ate something a bit ago), but ugh. Not cool.

I can't say I follow the thread regularly these days but I'll always make an appearance for boss battles and events, haha, that gets me out the woodwork. And naw thanks for the kind words. <3 I just want battle to be a great as it can be - and I'm always happy to share my perspective, thoughts and ideas, even if they go against the grain!

I think I have to fight this guy about a hundred and fifty times in order to get my core. Twenty times a day. At least.

Ugh I think the hydro jelly heard me talking shit and my damage per battle has gone way down :c

I didn't want to post anything about it on the official end, because I read a post from Bug that they tried to move the damage output, but it was so ass backwards in the code that it wasn't a quick fix, and would most likely have to wait until everything got rewritten.

Good thing they did a semi-major battle event lololol

I wonder if it would be any easier to move the health down to the bottom lolol

yeah I read about that, but I thought of something a tad different :P

My understanding is that the current code is very complex and messy in various ways, so somethings that sound easy really just aren't. I'm guessing that moving anything around is just a problem right now.

- meds are good when needed - hope yours work fast! And keep up that great progress battling! 97 already? I haven't really even started yet. :-)

And it's not so bad if I don't manage to earn a core this year, since I was very very lucky and accidentally won one in the last Gelatin War. I am mostly interested because I need one to combine with the concoction if I can earn that and I still have lower tier pets who will be using the core I have now. And my main pet is still only T9, so it's really not bad if I have to wait.

They worked fast, thankfully ! I'm at 100 now, almost 500k damage and average of 4.9k per battle.

I think I can do about 20 more fights before having to do lunch, and I'll do a bit more in the afternoon, but ugh haven't had a chance to quest at all today lol (Wish they didn't have done the war the same time as in the Quest-A-Thon lol)

Battle - Mala did 205,148 damage - I think this was my best run. Pretty sure I didn't live that long with the first 28.

Just FYI - a Hydragellos Maniacal Core is a T9 weapon that does 40-45 dark icons of attack and blocks 75 light. It also has a small chance to activate a one turn blessing that blcoks all of every icon except physical. But what it is mostly coveted for is that a core can be combined with a Gelatin Concoction to make a Maniacal Essence which is a T11 weapon much prized for its block of 100 dark icons. Hope that helps.

According to that, I did ~55k per damage so I should be able to stop after 100 battles for this one. I'm at 50 losses now and I think I'm gonna take a break. Miiight end up doing a little more just to be safe. But I still have three other pets to work with so I'll have to see how the timeline works out with the quest-a-thon and work and everything. /end rambling

I really like this format though! Having clear goals is a major plus in my book. I'm all for a little competition but it (the crazy-intense boss battles) never felt right on a game as casual as Subeta. This ain't MLG y'know?
