Man, I love that chibi zentu, glad I got the night version. The coloring is much more my thing. looks at Amagestha On another note, trying to plan out when I should buff my 8s, and my strongest 6 just made 7 recently. I also have a bunch of 3s with my highest being middle to 4. It's looking like no gelly war this year. Still hoping for one.

Battle Quests done for today (managed to sneak them in near end of day) - completed Level 21 - Moradon and The Gate Keeper.

Seeing a lot of Sandragon and Saggi lately, so not getting to Level 25. Oh well. There's always tomorrow. :-)

(doubled over laughing!) Oh no! So sorry to hear that ... um uh er ... I mean ... congratulations on your newest baby battler. :-) Wow - I guess, every book really counts when you are just starting out. And don't forget, if you happen to have any Mystic Spindle Points, intelligence starts out very cheap there. :-)

Makes note to self - get 81 into the Battle Coliseum and make sure you use up those eggs no new battlers in this house for now!

- 5 amulets and a tome - congrats. Hope you do as well or better tomorrow too.

Much as my new baby battler is having fun with these little TBT challengers, I agree. I think those with higher tier pets have been on hold long enough and deserve some fun too.

- ooh, scratchcard stat - nice.

- when does the Gelatin War usually happen (when it does)? I thought it was later on???

You have visited the bathhouse 360 days in a row! You found 50 CSC in the pool!

Nice way to start the day. Almost made it to my goal of a full year without forgetting to visit the Bathhouse. If I can just manage to keep remembering for a few more days ...

It was later on when I first started but it started earlier recently. Not sure for this year, it could still happen.

- thanks. I thought I remembered it being later in the year sometimes. So, at least I'm not crazy. :-) I know several battlers hoping those gelatins will show up this year (and I wouldn't mind a chance to win a concoction).

[edit] Battle Quests done for today. Finished Level 21 - Terrafirma and Cursed Effigy the Tormented blocked by Saggi and Sandragon again.

- nice to see you playing with your newest pet. :-)

I just went and made sure that I earned the last few battle eggs possible for my four pets (I don't have Rictus unlocked) and used them all on 81 - so there will be NO new pet here! :-)

So you're zapping for stats? I was afraid to use the zapper because I had unlocked items (like loyalty boxes) in my inventory - and soon will again, so I'm not really sure how it works. Is that how you somehow managed Health 10/9 (a temp increase?)

Sounds like a good game. Wonder how far you will get with it.

I was entirely too exhausted last night after work and staying up until midnight the night before (playing dungeons and dragons - worth it) to do my BQs

So I made sure to tack them on today when I did my quests. I even let Cibophobia do the first four or five! I've never shared Pacifists BQs before. Some experience for my fat little guy <3

lol I am NOT going to battle with this pet. (Ever get that feeling of deja vu?)

I'm not zapping for stats, but they can change as a result. This pet will eventually be a reborn exp (da Blob) and is only for my amusement. Furittus is still only T1 -- even Charon is only T3, so I was ready for the reset and all the eggs before I even got this pet! lol

Well, maybe - but then why read?

Ah looking for a new Blob pet - that sounds exciting!

Good to know at least one of us is prepared for the reset. After a reset, I think my pets are going to have to start eating and/or deleting those eggs - or just skip those challengers and only go after the other ones. :-)

- do you have a regular D&D group? I can remember many fun hours playing D&D.

Yeah, I've been in a handful of different groups, and this was the first time I played with this group. It was a lot of fun, just silly sometimes, but I think it should be that way, sometimes. We played online with skype and roll20.

Honestly, I don't know why I bother training a second pet, which is why I go through very long stretches where Cibophobia doesn't get trained. He's just t4, where Pacifist is t12. I tell myself, well I can use Cibophobia to get extra battle rewards, but honestly, most of the prizes he could even win are low enough in price that I can just buy them, and when it's a big event, I'm not going to split my time between the two of them idkidk

- D&D should definitely be silly sometimes. It's best played in person, but I know that isn't always possible for everyone. I do know a group that played together for many years and when people eventually moved away, they continued to play via Skype.

I hadn't heard of roll20 before but it looks very interesting. I'll have to mention it to some D&Ders I still know and see whether they think it would be useful for them.

As far as training a second pet goes, you'd be surprised. Training always results in growth so long term (and often much sooner than you think) you will be able to earn better battle rewards. Right now I have four pets (having just made a new one about a month and a half ago so I could use a bunch of those pesky battle eggs). I train everyone but almost always only BQ with my main pet who is now T9. But my second pet is T8 and my previous baby has reached T5. Even my brand new pet is now T3 - it seems to go pretty fast.

But if just one battle pet is right for you, that's okay - we're all different after all. I am finding that four battle pets is about 1/2 a pet too many for me sometimes. And I really only wanted one pet (not one battle pet - just one pet). I made both of the next ones because I needed something for some site event - Gulp was made to eat a food item when Tos and Tharg were both in the resort and couldn't be taken out, and I'm pretty sure Tharg was made because I needed to create a pet for some earlier event and then didn't want to just dump him. For me, though, once I have them, I always seem to train them.

Well, it was an OOPS! and then I dk... I just started doing it. Not a priority though. I'm not actively looking to raise intel, or it would be over 300. As I sort my inventory for vault vs. shops vs. use, I read a book to the newbie now and again.

We have a tiefling rogue, who didn't even steal the three crossbows he found, a dragonborn fighter who tried to dismantle a suit of armor statue, a dragonborn bard who critically missed basically all of his perception rolls all night and missed attacking the specter we fought but DID manage to hurt the fighter for a single point, and I'm a half orc barbarian who stole a bunch of bread and dried pasta from the (haunted) house we're exploring.

Our group consists of me and my husband, who is DMing, and three friends that we local, but now one's in Lousiana, two are in different parts of Ontario. We're in Michigan. So, we're pretty spread out.

The rogue started flirting with my barbarian, and one of the other players was like "Dude, her husband is RIGHT HERE"

Yeahhhh I think about training more of my pets. I mean, I have Discordia who is named for one of my cats irl, and she's such a little warrior in real life, I almost want to train her. But then I have to read books and make weapon sets... Cibophobia would probably be able to do more BQs if I had a t4 set, instead of just giving him the t1 weapons I used when I was trying to beat the Troll.

- I'm certain if you were really trying to raise intel it would be much higher - even 81 has intel over 300 now. Still, you must admit it's amusing that you are already reading to Ding Dong DItchem. Nothing wrong with getting a head start ... just in case. :-)

Actually, I read books to Tos from the start just because I liked the idea of reading to my pet, so since you are clearly enjoying the process, that's all that really counts. I always stuck the expensive books in the vault though, so Tos' AP still isn't that high (but I'm starting to work on that).

- your dungeon sounds like a lot of fun and a good group. I used to roll like that bard. I had a fighter who had really really good armor because he was originally an NPC so my group would tell me to fight whatever monster we encountered. But I often rolled so poorly, they would just give up and kill it themselves. That fighter also had a really low constitution so he had to avoid drinking when our group went to the tavern ("meet at the third tavern on the right") - but we had a ranger who would drink and get into trouble. It was my fighter's regular job to get him out of trouble and cart him off to safety.

I like your fighter trying to dismantle the statue. If he succeeds I think he should try it on for size. :-)

Making weapon sets is not too bad since you can have 3 even without a gold account. And once you have made a set, you can mostly just leave it alone and use it. And, yes, T4 weapons would be a huge difference for Cibophobia. I tried to beat Vampire Dog with my new baby battler last month and got totally stuck at 8 wins - until I boosted her about 6 - 8 stat points so that she could use T3 weapons, rather than T2 weapons. T1 means no good healers, no freezers or stealers or ... And, by the way, if you do make a T4 set, I strongly recommend including an UltimaPlus Tag. I can't wait until 81 is T4 and can start using mine. And it's still in my T9 default set (mostly for the 25% heal).
