Yeah trident has a scaling side and then you can transform it for tier 8 and up. Feels good to get BQs done as part of my dailies, with my pet getting 15/30 done it makes me happy. Time to hoard EXP! I've gotta get my other battles done as well, we got the easy challengers done thus far.

Yeah there are not that many weapons that heal at low tiers. It's more about the blocking instead of the healing. The % healers are also not as good when you have 500 health opposed to 5k health =/

Haha no I want the core to turn it into ME. I can beat the wizard and get the concoction, but I still need to win the ME. Unfortunately, it's only given to a small number of people per year and the people that won it last year are able to win it again this year so it's possible it could be awarded to the same people T-T

He still has a long way to go before he can beat mama forj 5 times. So far he only has two wins on saggi and one on GE, which are the hardest opponents he has beaten so far. Well, maybe the raging storm sylph was technically the hardest.

Battle Quests done for today. Comleted Level 23 - Scary Singer, The Gate Keeper and Mornrise Serpent twice. AoN lasted a few rounds before it poofed and that seemed to be just enough, at least today, for both The Gate Keeper and Mornrise Serpent. So maybe, they're done giving me total fits. We shall see.

Out of town company coming - first one arrives tonight. Lots of real life family and friend activities planned. Should be fun, but not sure whether I'll be able to spend time battling for about a week and a half. I'll have to try and get on every so often to train 81 (and visit the Bathhouse) and hope to catch up after company goes home. :-)

Yes, I had forgotten about the unblessed version of the trident having a percent heal. I'm probably not going to be able to use the trident much for Gulp because I'm using the blessed version for Tos and I suspect that transforming it would make the mods go away. So I guess she'll just have to struggle along as she is for now. At least she will be able to use STS and Aftershocks.

Yes, I have learned about the core and how you get it, I was extremely lucky to wind up winning one with Gulp on her first major boss battle when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or what a core was - or even that it would be one of the prizes. .I do see a couple in trades right now (but have no idea what they would cost). And I can understand if you just want to win your own anyhow. I know also really wants to win one and I will be rooting for the two of you next time the gelatins appear.

I'm guessing The Raging Storm Sylph was the hardest! And I have a feeling that Oranos will continue to grow quickly and amaze us all. I know for sure that Tos struggles mightily to do even half as well. Oranos is definitely her hero. :-)

Oranos is in the same boat, even with 1900 health. Although his weapons also lack a high % heal. Instead of 24 - 28% heal per turn, he can only heal for 23% per turn max but on average it's more like 15% - 20%.

Yeah the people want a lot of sP for the ones in trades so I will try and win my own if I can. Hopefully I will get lucky and it will be during a time when I can be on and not that many other battlers are on xD

Aww that's sweet. GE is a nightmare though as well. I think I just got lucky he didn't steal all my weapons or heal back all his health with his minor annoyance.

I have yet to face General Error, so I'll have to take your word about how tough he is. I know The Raging Storm Sylph gave Tos total fits. At least with Ice King I had the feeling he was beatable if I had time or was willing to spend sP, with the storm sylph I didn't really feel like I had a chance even knowing about Oranos win. If the squirrelly changeller is worse than that, I'm not looking forward to our encounters. :-)

As far as getting lucky - for battling, you have to have the training and equipment and persistence to be there long enough to get lucky! When it comes to the Battle Coliseum, I believe most luck is hard earned and very well deserved.

Just checked another box off my list a few minutes ago.

Win 6 was a cakewalk. Win 7 was only a little more difficult. Win 8 around turn 29 I noticed Baenwurath was starting to get some damage in, but I don't think I have to use more than both Voids by the end. Win 9 is where he started to ramp up and chewed through Core of the Island and Reviver of the Lion plus both Voids over the final thirty turns. Win 10 I noticed right away that I wasn't doing as much damage, and I had to use Core around the early twenties along with Soma Tablets in the thirties along with one Void. At turn 40 he began to hit hard enough to worry me and I began to use the attached dark potions. By the time I finished on turn 62, both Reviver and Phoenix Quill, the last Void, and Regenerating and Negating Pylonic's had been used, and I came out at 6200 health. I wouldn't have survived another three or four turns at the damage he was dealing.

General error is the worst until you can take start taking on flamagia. GE steals and freezes but at least you can protect against both. With flamagia, blessings are disabled. I have heard people describe her as the ultimate troll challenger

This is true every year -- always has been. Each year few, if any, people win it who haven't already.

I don't think I won it, so I probably bought it. Save up your SP, my best advice. Unless you are lucky enough to win one.
