If I make a modest estimation of about 12.5k damage per battle, I need to do 400 battles to get 5mill damage. I think that's doable. I wonder if they are doing any other prizes? I still need like 12 more copies of that book, and oozing vials are nice.

Probably, since the Concoction is an achievement prize, so only one per account really. Unless they decide to release it some other way, like as one of the damage bracket prizes.

Ha, isn't that part of why they added a wait time between trading pets and battling with them? So people couldn't do that anymore?

I hope I can beat the wizards this year. Even if i only get 5 of them, that will make it easier next time. But I'll try my best and see if I can do it this time.

- you can do it. 300 - 500 hundred battles isn't that many spread over the whole eight days! Just keep going - one battle at a time. You'll get there. And thank you for posting the Mini Gelatin loot drop.

- I don't know if they will be the same prizes, but the news post did say there would be other rewards based on total damage dealt so I'm guessing it will be sort of like last time for that.

Yes, I have killed 640 minis (all but 40 last year) - only another 1960 to go - I think they are waiting until the next war. Maybe, if I'm lucky I'll mange to find time for those Wizards though.

At this point i'm not sure how valuable the core really is as you said the concoction is the more desired item as anyone who won one put it with there core.

Still going to try and win another though, not sure how many that would make in my time.

I think just in general, this was not such a great idea. We were already behind with the quests, now people have to split their time even more. I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it up even if we do get special quests all weekend. Oh well ~

I've only done Shinwa's quests to contribute to the quest-a-thon. Guess that's not going to change, not with gellies running around!

- apparently I am that much of an idiot - at least when I start getting tired, because I've used them both on the same turn (not on purpose - I do, thankfully, still have some limits on my idiocy :-) ) twice now. Part of the problem is the new UI. I really appreciate what they've done to accommodate all of us, and I have preselection turned off since I'm using a different combination each turn, but my muscle memory is having trouble choosing the right things because it's not used to the new system just yet. :-) Oh well, guess I'll just have to fight an extra 100 or so battles to make up for the ones I mess up. Or maybe I should just slow down a little more (ironic when everyone has been talking about speed and now I really want to be fast). Or maybe both. I wouldn't have even wanted to try this with the first iteration, so I'm still grateful.

yeah... i'm gonna keep questing 'cause i don't want to waste my GA but i can't say i have high hopes for this one ;w; ah, at least i have a chance at finishing the mini gel achievement haha

I have the pre-selection on because I have no muscle memory -- but what you are going through is certainly nothing new to me! lol I can't even get the math down to figure out how many battles I need to do.... ;)
