I have a question. I am doing about 2k in damage each time I battle so how many battles or how many hours would I have to battle to make the quota for the weapon? Also should I battle with all of my pets or just one?

:P You're doing well? I'm trying to get it done today with Hanson so I can spend the rest of the week doing something else. I need to get at least 280 battles, but I'm going for 350 just to be safe. Somehow I keep dying but it's less aggravating than fighting Cinthilocks XD

I'm pretty sure you'll get the Core for one pet with at least 5 mil damage total. However you can battle with many pets but each of them will earn other prizes based on their own damage dealt :D

You mean you hit 2,000 per turn or per battle? Then you'll need to take into account how many turns you last on average per battle. You can then multiply that (average turn count per battle) by 2,000. Divide 5 mil by that number and you'll have the number of battles you need to fight for the Core. I hope that helps a bit :D

Loving this new format, I have the time, so my pets not named Mala can get some serious points for me. Have to do a lot more battles with my reamaining 13s then decide, if I have time, if my 12s are worth some battles.

Math is very complicated for me. I just look at the end total when I die and it's 2k per battle? I don't know how to figure it out. I wish there was a way we could tell when our pet has hit enough battle points :( I know I last probably about 8 or 9 turns during each battle lol

I don't think there will be, or they would have mentioned it. Last year the top in each tier got the Core, which is how I got mine. This year they just opened it up for a week and if you get at least 5 mil damage then you get a Core (1 per account). Plus the other prizes based on damage brackets, similar to previous years.

I'm pretty sure that's all there will be, it would be kind of a jerk move to suddenly at the end be like "oh by the way, we have a super big prize for the top 50 battlers that we decided not to tell you about".

That number it shows when you die is the amount of damage you did for that turn. So how many turns are you managing to get in per battle?

The problem is the time. He's doing anywhere from 11k on the low end to 34k on the high end. Also the case where he gets crit hit almost instantly and dies. I should be able to have enough damage by 400 losses

Alright, 8-9 turns per battle and I'll estimate around 2k damage per turn. You'd need about 313 battles to get to 5 million damage.

I'll do an underestimate if you want to be safe, assuming 1500 damage per turn you'd need 417 battles.

You can double check each turn and see if you're consistently doing close to 2k damage for each one, but you should probably aim for somewhere between 320-420 battles depending on how consistent your damage is.

Okay based on that battle, it seems like you're averaging closer to 1500 per turn, that would put you closer to needing the 420 battles. If you have time, you may want to do up to 500 just to be sure.

I don't think so either, so it seems like a waste to battle with my tier 8 and under pets this year. But, I'll see about that.

Yeah, I'm probably not going to bother with my Tier 6 pet, she's only getting around 500 damage per battle, so it would take a lot just to even get to like 1 mil damage.

I'll just battle with my main pet and do as much damage as I can, I already have a Core so it's not as big of a deal for me this year I guess. I'm still waiting for the other gellies to come out and play. ;~;

Sorry I disappeared for a bit :D 2,000 at the final turn where you die is just one turn so it might not give you a good idea of how much damage you deal on average, since the Hydra blocks damage at time. You can track your damage every turn over 10 battles by scrolling down and copy your total damage at the bottom of the battle text every time you submit your turn. This might need a little bit of work and take some extra time, but once done it should give you a better and perhaps more accurate idea of how much damage you do on average. If you can copy your damage per turn for 10 battles here I can do the math for you. You can edit it in a post and I'll check back :)
