He still 1-hits me a lot, so I haven't been bothering with freezing. I'm using my Blessed Trident and Malhuili + Fatal Fire scrolls for some extra attack, since I don't have Aftershocks yet.

The minis are here but just a few minutes in and nearly 2,500 of them are gone. This is why I said earlier that I couldn't beat them last year because they ran out so quickly XD

I'm having a dilemma here. Finish Hydra or tackle the minis? I can't decide XD

They should be releasing more later on though, right? Good luck if you decide to go for it!

I think I just need the Golems and Wizards for achievements, so I'm skipping the minis.

- if you have a full blocker you can use 100 percent freezer plus full blocker to get free shot at hiim That also guarantees a third round since he can't kill you while he's frozen. So three times with your scroll. Should be a little extra damage each battle that way. And, isn't that a Gelatin Slayer you are wearing? Would it be helpful to battle with it instead??? (Not sure how it stacks up versus your other weapons.}

For what it's worth Tos is about 1500 per stat so she usually gets killed every time she runs out of full blocks. (Although I have managed to survive to do one extra round by using GoTF instead of Aftershocks for the first turn without blockers - thank you :-) )

- I'd would say go for the core. The mini's will be back (next year if need be), but the way the core is awarded might not be the same next time. So take it while you can. :-)

I've upped my damage to 3000/battle with my T9. I don't know if I want to grind though.

I could try the Slayer, but I think it does around the same amount of icons as the other two, just different ones. I think the Hydra can block most of everything though, so I'm not sure how much difference it would make.

And I don't have any full blockers, so I'll probably just keep going like I have been. It's not so bad spread out over a week, and I technically already have a Core so if I don't get another one it won't be the end of the world.

Thank you for the advice :D . Yeah I'm definitely going for the Hydra first. The minis can wait plus I guess I can manage without the gel sword for the time being even with my lower tier pets. It's still nice to have though.

You can survive with GotF? That's interesting to know :D I never expected that GotF can help pets withstand the Hydra's damage. I guess he hits for more than 1,500 especially for pets T10 and below.

- I also have a core, but I will ultimately need one to make the essence and one for my still up and coming battlers I think. But, yes, not the end of the world for sure. And also, really doable spread out over the 8 days. Personally, I like this format.

Actually I just had the thought I should actually use my Core instead of just letting it sit in my armory collecting dust, so I slapped some critical hit crystals on it and now I'm getting more damage per turn. I'm such a dumdum for not thinking about that already. ;~;

And thanks for that too! I forgot to check if there was any new loot, I guess I'll at least do the 10 wins for that and EXP.

- he usually hits me for well over that too, but since it was Aftershocks or GoTF and they're not all that different in damage I figured it couldn't hurt. It is your scroll, would you like me to send it back so you can try it yourself? Even without it, I'm still getting an extra turn every battle with your STS.

- I've been using my core - it just seems so appropriate every time I attack him with it. :-)

I've managed to up my damage count some though, and I'm getting more critical hits now so that's good. I'll just wear my Slayer for the war to at least look the part. xD

No, no, you use it. I'm doing well even without it in my set and later if I've got time to battle with Maskros at all I've got her set ready too, and I've done some calculations to maximise damage even without GotF so please don't worry about me :D

Haha that reminds me of The Incredible where the only way to damage the villain's war machine is to use it against itself :P

Liking the new boss set up, and the new battle system is awesome so more enjoyable to grind.

Welp, that's 250 down... 2250 to go. Gonna take me about eight hours sitting here grinding these little piles of goop apart and I've already been up 21 hours, planned to be in bed 13 hours ago, so I'm just going to bow my head and say Hasta la vista to this awful timing and achievement.
