Spent about 100 orbs on legendary banner and pulled Elise and Bridal Lyn, I'm happy with that! Haven't checked IVs yet but gonna stop there because there is nothing I need more than a flying dancer. 8) also the art is stunning across the board on the new units, possibly the best batch to date?!

My free pull on the legendary banner got me a spare Sigard though so I guess the finger crossing wasn't in vain :p -wanted to pull green for easter chrom or the new legend but got only red orbs so hoped for Ryoma as I lacked him...but I'll take the spare 5*-

Planning to make my last card pull attempt on Friday on the christmas banner --; after that I'll have to throw in the towel when it comes to payed orbs on that.

Edit: and I got 5 orbs but my next christmas pull was roy....-sighs- I'm about to assume christmas isn't going to come for me in FE Heros sorta speek. Shame as this also hurts me in arena since they are the main bonus units right now AND if not for Fredrick and Masked Marth being bonus units I wouldn't know what to do for TT because they are also the main units there.

I know they wanted to make TT christmas themed and Arenas favor new units....but this is kinda twisting the knife in farther.

I love the art on the New Year Units, although I don't understand why they couldn't use all Hoshidan characters, or why we have another Azura (Camilla why? Her art is pretty tasteful for her though) - that said I will be pulling in earnest for Takumi, and will probably give Flier Azura a shot for her skill set. I really hope we get a seasonal Ryoma and/or Hinoka soon though.

Ah... this legendary banner. I pulled a Gunnthra but it was painful getting there - the only units I don't have/wanted where green or colourless so naturally I had a majority of blues and reds. I did end up getting a Brave Roy and Elise though, and also a Gordin (never pulled him before, oddly enough).

Sadly I pulled the legendary banner before seeing the New Year datamine so I guess grinding the tempest trials is the way forward! (I also think we might get a free Gunnthra later on so kicking myself a lot right now).

I don't think my survey answers when through because I can resubmit my form so I'll have to fill it out again but I asked for:

• Summoning pool to be fixed (anyone at 4* to be removed from 5* pool)
• Resetting the awards of GHBs and BHBs if they are going to insist on repeating them so often. If they are not going to re-run Xander or Camus they should add them to the summoning pool.
• Turn off enemy phase music
• Put some clothes on the female characters (haha)
• Stop repeating units on seasonal banners and TT rewards - feels relevant with our third versions of Camilla and Azura incoming
• Stop reusing units on voting gauntlets if they have already won
• Don't split new units across multiple banners a la Ayra and Rhajat.

I worry that I went on a bit of rant at them, haha.

The New Years Banner looks.... weird. Too many Fates units. Ugh. Fates is my LEAST FAVOURITE Fire Emblem title. (Also, too many Nohr, Lobster Ryouma when!?!!!!)

Got 2 5*s form my first summon... Got the two units in their colour that I was least excited about. Amelia, whom I already have (and also to mock me for never getting Hector, but I get Amelia on my first pull), and Sigurd, who is good I guess... but I wanted Ryouma or Roy. Even when I have Luck it sucks. OTL.

- Sounds like my luck. I want the new girl too, but I haven't spent orbs in hopes that we get her free sometime. You still get that blessing though, so even if we get a free one, there is that. I agree with most of your survey answers (except the music, but I mean, I always play with sound off, so I don't care) Where/What is this survey? Maybe we can make a difference in numbers!

tried the new banner -- got my first sigurd!! looks like he's +def/-spd so i'm excited to build a shiny new tank ;w; not doing more than that though, gotta save for new years >A<;;

and man, i've been seeing "turn enemy phase music off" on so many peoples' request lists. i hope intsys actually looks at these, the music thing alone seems like a simple request that'd be really well received... i don't think it's a huge deal that you had some complaints, since judging by the typos/errors this was basically an emergency PR maneuver -- looks like the response to no-content, no-christmas december was pretty bad p:

Haha, Amelia is actually the one green I would still quite like, so colour me jealous you have two C; Sigurd is great, I have a lot of fun using him in my horse emblem team.

I enjoy fates myself but I do think it is a shame that the older games are overlooked for seasonal updates (Because we don't need another version of Lucina or Camilla) but I heard that New Year is big in Japan so Hoshido makes sense as a theme (sad that they didn't actually put y'know, more actual Hoshidans on the Hoshido banner. Justice for Ryoma and Hinoka!)

Gunnthra is supposed to replace Cecelia as green horse mage if the various reddit threats are to be believed, but I actually really enjoy using my TA Cecelia (and she's paired with Reinhardt) so she is not going anywhere soon. I really do wish I had waited though to see if she is going to be free in the new year (I don't use the blessings)

I too need the Prince of Soup (which is why I have serious Gunnthra regret right now) so I hope he comes home easily. I /really/ do not care for Corrin (watch me get, like 5 of him now)

And yeah - hopefully not to many people will spam the survey and they will actually listen to the complaints and suggestions. They would be foolish not too, their Christmas content was pretty shocking :C

- I'm scared to look what my Sigurd is. (re - even when I have good luck it is bad) I should check my Amelia too, my current one is neutral.

I got summer Frederick easily, but I got him, and Priscilla, and Jakob trying to get Summer Gaius :(

at this point i don't know if they're going to do a free gunnthra, but i figured that she and fjorm would show up on the next legendary banner, so i don't need to worry (unless they come out with some other crazy short-term banner in january, with like... i don't know, shigure or azura on a horse) i wouldn't mind corrin since i like his art, but i don't really want any more archers so hopefully takumi is nice to both of us!

sigurd looks to have a pretty even stat-spread, so hopefully you'll be able to work with the one you pulled! ;w; i had the opposite problem with the summer banner; summer gaius came home early but i was still pulling for frederick on the last day of the banner... i really don't want to repeat that, ugh

- I also got Summer Tiki twice in my quest for Gaius. She was my first summon both times. (I usually summon the full 5 at 3% just to get the pity rate up for less orbs if there's a good number of the units that I want)

So I'm a free player and have no actual strategy/knowledge of what I'm doing really, short of taking a stab at the Trials when they're up and training when I can in the tower, and my stash of orbs is pretty pitiful because it's basically whatever I get from the daily gift and I'm super low from the holiday banner. I took a stab at the new legendary banner not expecting much, and my free pull gets me Gunnnthra.

I'm okay with this!

- My Sigurd is neutral shrug not bad I guess, my Ameila 2 is +att - res though, so I might merge my other -att one into her (I'd fodder her off for skills, but I put to many other skills on her, it would be a waste, and I think Amelia is solid enough to deserve being +1)

- Youtube is your friend! There are a good number of free-to-play strats there for a lot of the quests. Congrats on getting Gunnthra! I'm still hoping she'll be free eventually. I want to be done with this banner, 2 5s out of 5 pulls makes me feel like I've sucked up all my luck for the banner and won't get any more 5s with the 180 orbs I have left. Save them for someone I really want.

Haha, if I weren't so invested in another (non phone) game, I probably would! I think I've found the happy medium of "I want to play some but not super seriously". At this point, it's mostly a collecting game for me because collecting is my jam.

Ugh, right? I feel somehow as though I've managed to use everyone else's luck at the same time. I get bummed reading about how many orbs folks are spending on this banner just to come up with a whole lot of nothing special.

- I like it mostly for the collecting aspect too, but because of my shitty luck all the time, I have to try to beat all the challenge maps, and get the highest arena scores so that I can get enough orbs to try and summon things.

I like to do everything, too (I could count on one hand the number of times I've missed any quests). I think being a collector would drive me mad with the seasonal units so am happy to settle for a selection and see how they play out for me. I also really like building different units. I have 73 5* units currently sat in my barracks at varying stages of completion but, like, highest merge at the moment is +2 on Masked Marth hahah. I've kinda settled into having a large roster who can do all sorts of things versus a few prized units.

On that note, TT is kinda progressing smoothly. Took a small break today to clear up Naverre Infernal and quests but sat at 36k. Feel like I'm going slightly slower than normal but Heavy Blade is within reach and I'm having a bunch of fun now I've figured out the intricacies of my team. I gave both Lissa and Tharja Ignis and both can wreck almost anything (omg why does everything have anti-armour weaps, Hana is a true curse). Lissa with Armour March is a beast on initiation, while Tharja clocks up 47/46 defences so can sponge relentlessly. Amelia mostly looks pretty.

Congrats to anyone who's pulled Sigurd! He's such a stunner and so fun to use, I'm his biggest fan haha.

Also both my Elise and Bridal Lyn were +Spd whooop. I can work with that. I just... don't have a Genny for Elise to devour. Hmmm. Why did all the Genny banners pass me by.

- Yeah, being a collector sucks, especially when you have bad luck. And collecting all the seasonals is hard, and probably why I have seasonal fatigue, but thankfully the amount of caring that I have for 95% of the fates characters hovers a little above 0 (also contributing to seasonal fatigue), so most of the banners I can basically ignore (although those holes in the catalog of heroes screen will continue to bother me).

i was going to say an extra summer tiki would be good for close defense, but tbh i could never convince myself to give up a seasonal unit for skills x: sounds like sigurd and amelia are going to work out, so that's good!! :3

we've been saved! or at least, we only have to worry about jakob regular 5* colorless. for whatever reason, corrin isn't on the new years banner, so we don't have to worry about him sharing focus with takumi ;w;
