About my last pulls, after reaching a 11% pity rate on the legendary banner, I finally got it broken on the very last orb I could spend on it with Bride Charlotte, which I consider is OK since I didn't have her yet and at least my pity rate isn't wasted! Legendary banners are not that kind with me though :c I also got a 5* Raven on the free summon for the BHB banner. Nice too, but why don't I get free 5* on legendary or more interesting banners? XD EDITING 'CAUSE I FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: I finally got a 4* Klein too! It was about damn time!! Shit IVs but I don't care. He finally came home!

With all the quests, TT, and the voting gauntlet running right now, I just hope we don't get another content drought after next week when all of this will be over though...

That's a shame you don't have Aether but it would be fun to put Slaying Axe on Lissa. I imagine it would make her an even bulkier version of B!Ike (esp. if you refined for the defence boost)? I hope 4* Chrom comes home soon for fodder (seriously the guy wouldn't leave me alone when I was pulling for Elincia and Siegbert)

I spent all of my orbs before they dropped all of the New Year content (because I'm impatient, I even topped up from the shop) and didn't get him, then got 15 orbs on the new stuff - only one summon was colourless and it was him. I don't even know what his IVs are, I'm just happy.

Congrats on your Klein C: I hope that we're not going to be bored for the rest of the month, but I worry that with the first anniversary coming on the 2nd February things might go quiet. If anything, I hope for some more story chapters before the anniversary.

Haha, we are literally the other way around C: I had Batre go through things with mostly no problem (except when a mage got in range. He dies almost instantly to mages). My Florina only had her base kit, did you put anything extra on her?

After much thought, I am supporting Takumi this round (I'm a sap and can't abandon him) - although the indicators show Ryoma might just beat him out. If he does I am joining team Lobster in the hope that he might take the title but W!Tharja and Airzura are looking pretty unstoppable right now.

Also - I have about 5 Setsunas right now, so I fed one to Cecelia now has Bowbreaker 3 instead of Wings of Mercy to compliment her Gronnraven+ and Triangle Adept 3. She is a fantastic BowLyn counter (and since mine is +Res she does great against Reinhardt too) I might chuck Bowbreaker 3 on Gunnthra too so see how it does.

I have about 7 copies of 4* Nino - I was going to 5* the one with the best stats but now I am wondering if I should aim for a 4*+10 instead. Feels like every other green pull is Nino for me at the moment so I figure the game is trying to tell me something.

- Well, My Bartre was level 1 at the beginning of the quests, I had never trained him, so that's why I had trouble with him. Florina did have Moonbow, which probably helped (also the ridiculous amount of armour units that turned up on the training maps helped too)

I wish I could pull more Nino! I'm trying to make her super 5*, but ever since I merged the three I had together, I haven't pulled another Nino since. I have Nino +2, I thought she was more common than that, but alas, she evades me, despite the number of green orbs I seem to pull all the time. It's not really worthwhile to merge a 4* unit to 10, their stats will only be about what a typical 5* would be, and the only benefit you get is it cost fewer feathers to promote to 5* and if you do they lose all the bonus stats they got. Nino is a pretty fantastic beat stick, I think she is worth promoting to 5* a few times to merge at 5*. (I have already done so twice)

fair enough! tbh i'm planning on replacing poison strike on this saizo anyway, but... i have plenty of extra saizo and jaffar is next on the list to build so i'm gonna keep that set up in mind >:3

Thanks to Airzura bonus I can field my flier team this week! Makes a pleasant change of pace from Alfonse lugging (tbh with Brave Sword+ and Drag Back he holds up but y'know, it's Alfonse). I'm running Airzura, S!Camilla, Elincia and Cordelia. Running Heavy Blade seal on Elincia which is pretty fun, after a single attack she can charge Dragon Fang and ensure demolition (+Atk Elincia gives 48 attack with Amiti, then pile DB3, Hone Fliers and potentially two Goad Fliers and support with Airzura wheeeeew). Did lose a battle after foolishly assuming S!Camilla would be able to tank a hit from buffed Cecilia on a defensive tile. Poor gal didn't stand a chance. She's running Iote's but might switch over DD3 to give her some space against mages; her resistance clocks in at only 19. But yeah, it was really fun to run a new comp and managed to get through the rest of my eight matches flawlessly, as I spent a couple of crests for gauntlet flags.

I also set my Cordelia as lead unit so she should show up if you're pals and Team Ryoma. :) Gave her Guidance 3 to assist with infantry comps. Hope some of you see her!

i want another dancer but after no green orbs three tries in a row... meh, i'm not going to try again until the end of the banner; i want to see what the next banner is first p: (maybe summer leo will come back on the next legendary banner?)

and i know we've still got a day, but man. things are also not looking great for the lobster x: fingers crossed we pull through! [edit] (clenches fist) i get very jealous every time i get to use the deft harpoon shiro on my friends list ;m; put him back on a banner, intsys!

S!Camilla really shines on flying teams as archer defence, with TA and Gronraven, she doesn't need DD or Iote's shield to tank them. I still need me some Cordelia. :( I met a particularly annoying one in the arena the other day, Firesweep lance +, L&D, Galeforce, and Heavy Blade seal to charge it faster, and two dancers to back her up. She nearly swept through my whole team in one turn.

Haha mine runs a similar spread, L&D3 and Firesweep Lance+. She hits 61 attack and 53 speed with a Hone and +3 Spd seal. I'm not running Galeforce on her at the moment as she'd still have a turn to charge but I can imagine it being destructive once she's up and running.

and yeah, I'm running Gronnraven+ and TA3 on Camilla. I wanted to Gronnblade+ but, given how pervasive B!Lyn is you really need at least one hard counter. I did have Iote's on her yesterday, switched out for DD3 for today's runs but didn't encounter her. I think Deflect Magic 3 would work decently, too, as her Res is so flimsy. She runs Vantage 3 at the moment but might move over to G Tomebreaker 3; I don't really think there's any B skills which stand out for her but shrug.

ALSO ALSO major news!!! Pulled my first Caeda this morning from my freebie. <3 I'll eventually use her to pass Fortify Fliers on to Cordelia but finally inherited Goad like... three days ago so am feeling a little bitter at the moment haha.

Ah that is where I went wrong. I used the Warriors maps to level up my Bartre and Florina rather that the training down. In retrospect, I should have used the training tower for badges as a I still have a few seals to refine.

I have joined Lissa for the final round - I like her more of a character than Azura. I think I have yet again picked the losing side though, but I am very happy that the final is not Tharja and Camilla.

I am curious to know who shows up the most for people when they summon. On the newest banner I pulled green for my free orb and got Nino again (she is my Bartre). I now have 8 4* Ninos, I would have had more but I sent some 3* home for space/feathers.

My most common heroes at the moment are: Camilla (x5) Hinata (x5) - would have had 7 but have fed a couple out for Fury. I got most of him on the first legendary banner - before then, I didn't have a Hinata for about 4 months Setsuna (x5) - would have been 6 but I recently fed one to Cecelia Felicia (x5) Chrom (x5) - would have had more but sent a couple home for space Soren (x 5) Nino (x 8) - I have also sent home 3/4 3* copies too. Palla (x5)

Honourable mentions got to Laslow, Hawkeye, Jagen, Shanna, Ceceilia, Eliwood, Gunter, Barst and Raven who have all have more multiple copies if they had not been sent home for space or foddered off.

Well the gauntlet ended and Azura properly stomped Lissa - looks like she got the 7.5 multiplier. Tempest trials end tomorrow as well and then... I'm not sure because there doesn't look any there's any more content planned? I've finished the infantry quests and am very stuck on Erika and Ephraim BHB Infernal (I've looked at guides and the enemy units seem to move differently to how the ones in the videos show. I get oh so close but Ephraim kills me every time.)

They must be really saving up content for the anniversary... guess it's time to finish the January quests.

Yeah I'm pretty much cleaned up with quests. Finished the paralogues and Feb story quests today, hit 100k on the Tempest Trials and did the BHB quests, too, so I only have the monthly training tower quests to finish. I'm going to focus on grinding out SP on the Camilla map over the next week as I still have a lot of work on my healers left and am investing in standard Lyn, too, as the Sol Katti buff is pretty cool.

I do think Reddit is becoming a bit... toxic about the game. I'm still kept busy with the content and have stuff like the latest chain challenges outstanding so the constant talk of the content drought is sounding like an echo chamber. Sure, the new GHBs have slowed down a lot but they could never maintain the previous pace. And they're now delivered without gaps. I dunno, it's just becoming draining to read.

I played frequently buy casually when it came out, and then I took a break and got overwhelmed by the changing meta ;A;

I'm trying really hard to get back into it now though! with all of the chain/assault type challenges now I have to really focus on having more than 5 characters are level 40 :P and then actually remembering to inherit skills onto them, my teams are abysmal in that regard haha

Ah, that is a good idea, I think the Camilla map is only around for a few more days. Haha, I read my message back and I think I do sound a bit whiny, I didn't mean too ^^; I guess after the barrage of stuff at New Year's... it's all gone (?) and there is no sign of what might be coming next? Does that make sense? Maybe I've got a bit of burn out. I don't post on Reddit but do check in, but I think you're right. It might be time to give them a miss for a few days.

I don't have a Lyn but Sol Katti buff does look cool - I finally got enough to refine Fujin Yumi and gave my favourite pineapple an attack buff. I do wonder if I should have gone speed, but my only vanilla Takumi is -spd so I wasn't sure if it'd be worth it.

I do also want to build a Hinata and complete Team Ponytail. I have a spare Athena so I was thinking of giving him a Wo Dao+. Maybe I'll concentrate on that :)

halloween!nowi is my favorite unit, she doesn't do anything extraordinary tbh, but she's so cute and then azura is just handy but can handle her own fights so i love her I have used.... god knows how many orbs trying to get the new year azuma, no luck yet but I can't stop </3

old favorites to use were lucina and effie!

and now I'm almost done leveling up fae, nowi, cordelia and brave lyn, but have a long way to go with getting the skills I want on them, but I have enough units to take on the harder tempest trials now!

Hahah sorry it wasn't something I meant to direct at you, rather something I wanted to get off my chest for a while. :) I understand the frustration at receiving nothing new but, personally, have been kept busy over the past couple of months and always have something to burn stamina on. I did expect a new banner today as it's a bit of a surprise to wake up with only two available. But there's always something around the corner, so I'm happy to bide my time and work on whatever projects I have!

Wo Dao+ would be a great match for the Great Wall of Hinata. That'd let him sponge damage then burst down with Bonfine/Moonbow/whatever. His attack is pretty respectable, actually, but obvs he's mainly enemy phase.

I agree so much with you about reddit (and I am glad I'm not the only one to think that way haha)! TT just finished today and there are already so much complaints. Hell, we even got some new quests today so that's not nothing! (Okay, they won't keep us busy for one week but it's still something and hey, it's free orbs!). I'd understand if it was 2 weeks since we got anything but that's not the case here!

I think we should AT LEAST get a new banner on Monday since it will be 2 weeks since they released the New year banner. And maybe another TT later in the month with NY!Corrin as a reward? (or maybe he will be released Ayra-like :c That would suck!).

I don't know how so much people seem to have nothing to do. Don't people have units to level up, builds projects, chain challenges to finish, etc? I almost never spend stamina potions so I barely have time to do that when there is a TT running. So I'm going to try to catch up now! haha

Yeah basically every comment about the Anna quests is a complaint. It's feeling relentlessly negative and, in turn, draining so I've stepped away. Still a handy source of information but I'm steering clear otherwise. I think we'll get a new reveal on Friday with the banner to follow on Monday, hope we get a stopgap banner tomorrow.

Haha I found this web page earlier/ which lets you calc SP costs of builds. My Lyn one came up to 2775 with refinement and a total refurb of her kit hahaha. She just reached the benchmark this evening. Of course, it requires obtaining and sacrificing a Nephenee which is... unrealistic but a boy can dream. Lyn is easily the best candidate for Wrath though, imo considering in-built Desperation and Brash Assault.

And yeah the mystery of NY!Corrin continues to deepen! I read a couple of strings hinting towards a new TT, hope it's a mini to tide us over til anniversary. We have been getting a pretty amazing stream of orbs over the past few days.
