i spent the last of my flags to make lukas 5* last night, only to learn that berkut (who i've also been thinking about making 5*) is a bonus unit for arena... oops. next time, buddy. meanwhile, i upgraded lukas' lance and i finally have enough divine dew for something fun -- just dunno if i actually want upgraded hauteclere or if i want to wait for something else... (my only other option atm is seliph's divine tyrfing, and i dunno if i want to build him just yet)

yeah, i guess it's basically a separate (and more expensive) "learn skills" page, which is nice. if it was less flexible/you could only refine a few times, i'd still be trying to decide what to refine first, haha (i've got my fingers crossed for a christmas surprise, too! ;w; )

- I need more soul dew for my Ephraim too, but I don't know whose weapons to upgrade. I don't really use many of the units that have the option to upgrade.

Didn't even get any red orbs on my free summon circle for the christmas banner. Pulled a Frederick shrug done with this banner now. keeps saving orbs Maybe someday I'll have 's luck and get a bunch of 5* with only 40 orbs instead of 0 5* with 100 (as has been the trend).

I'm gonna have to switch around my arena team big time this week, I've only got 4Berkut, 4 Stalh and 5* Anna as the bonus units... and none of them are that useful. Lost three times today (had do use dueling swords to get the quest for the first time in ages) And I want to do well this week cus last week I barely dropped back down to T17 again. (I was like 13800, and 13500 go up)

I did some chain challenges so I could have enough orbs to summon and... My 5% pity rate was finally broken by a Christmas Chrom (+Spd/-Hp). Phew!

Well I have 0 orb left now so hopefully legendary banner won't come TOO fast... I guess it's safe to say that since nothing was announced yet, I should have at least one week to save up. If we get a TT and if the banner runs through January I should be able to do a few pulls.

Pretty happy to see Berkut on this week's arena rotation, I actually promoted mine to 5* this weekend! (Because I wanted to experiment with weapon refinery for his lance). He's almost lvl40, now I just have to seriously look into builds. I think he really shines as a mage baiter with Distant Counter and I do have a spare Hector but... I don't know if that would really be worth it. (That spare Hector is probably better sitting in my barracks for weeks/months until I make a decision...haha)

For now though I'm probably going to level up Chrobin and C!Chrom and put them up in my defense team with Amelia and BK... Hopefully it gets me at least one defense. XD

This game is so addictive but only got handful of 5* characters and Im really bad at those 40+ battles.

- I know what you mean. I typically watch youtube videos for how to beat them using on the free to play characters at 4s. I have about 40 5s, and it's still hard to figure out how to do those maps sometimes.

Switch around my arena team to have Anna and Arvis over B!Ike and Ayra, doing better so far. Anna actually tanks Reinhardt pretty well (if he doesn't have horse buffs)

Yeah I need to watch more youtube videos. 40 5s is pretty good, I only got around 28 I think. I should probably lvl some of my 4 up tho.

I am terrible at the harder difficulties in general too, I only just beat lunatic Tana and Amelia after many attempts and I often get knocked out first turn on infernal.

200th hero is coming up soon, Christmas is in a few days... just saying ;)

New tempest trial has been announced, bonus units are Lucina, masked Marth, Nowi and Frederick. Got a draug on my free pull. Tried Christmas banner again for a laugh and got winter Tharja- she's +Res and -def but that'll do for me.

I'm not too sad about Masked Marth being a prize again, does make me think that we're getting something special for the legendary event.

I'm a sore loser, I give up way to easily. I need to give it another go.

tfw armored unit is 40% bonus and cavalry unit is 20% bonus... christmas tharja's gonna tank my speed score so bad s: maybe i can do a team with c!tharja and h!henry and a flyer with guidance. hrm

(i want to keep rolling on the christmas banner for chrom, but that way lies madness, eep!)

- Yeah, the youtube videos are really helpful, even if you don't have the exact same units, you can usually make do with a similar strategy. I usually try once or twice on my own, then look for strats online.

- I also feel like the tempest trial is our fun christmas thing, that and the banner, I think 200th Hero is something more suited for the new year, or possibly the 1 year anniversary of the game in February. (I'm hoping for Athos as 200th Hero!)

yeah, if that's all we get, i don't mind it. a free orb is a free orb, and i always need feathers. and if we get more, then neat!

but as for the 200th hero... i want bruno/zacharias ;o; well, maybe not as mr 200, but either way, i would certainly hope we don't go through all of january without any new heroes, haha

- Bruno/Zacharias would be good too, I would love to see an ACTUAL conclusion to that plot line, because they jumped into book II without really resolving book I. I wouldn't mind going through January without any new heros. I'm so far behind on my collection as it is!

they really did. i mean, i know it's just a phone game but that's not really an excuse... i was hoping they would flesh out the askr/embla thing out a bit more, with bruno and veronica maybe defecting and loki flat-out taking over. hopefully book two is more interesting p;

i didn't even think about collectors; tbh a few "weapons to refine" / "heroes with x skill" / "heroes with long hair" banners would be just fine~ i'm just worried that after all the book 2 excitement last month, another month of GHB reruns and voting gauntlets will feel really boring ;>>

- They do seem to be sort of related, so maybe book II will have more to do with the Embla characters as well.

Don't give up! I actually managed to beat Lunatic and infernal Navarre today - (it's the first time I've beat infernal ever - I used Takumi, Oboro, Elincia and B!Ike. Fun fact, Oboro has they highest defence on my roster o.O. Time to give her close defence seal!)

I guess I am just overexcited for Christmas C: I guess in my head that 200th hero slot is too tempting not to do anything with so I was hoping for Christmas. But I do also wonder if they are saving all of the really cool stuff for the first anniversary at the start of February, perhaps some new story chapters that tie in Veronica and Bruno, and may add in a Bruno GHB. I don't think we'll get Veronica just yet.

I think the blessing might take the place of the crystals on the TT reward tiers? That is what I am hoping for any way.

I was saving up orbs for Joshua, who is my most favourite character ever, since I started playing FEH and I had around 1321 orbs when he was announced a free unit (cue to me having a hysterical laughing fit). Now I'm just waiting for Reyson and Libra to be released, but I'd also pull for Innes or any of the Performing Arts dancers (especially Olivia or Inigo) if they were included in a Legendary Banner.

- Welcome to the madness!! Reyson would be fun, Not sure they'll be putting in the laguz any time soon though, although, they managed to make Ninian work, so I'm sure they can do something for Reyson. I'm saving my orbs for Hector.... AGAIN. I keep saving and spending every time he is focused, and have not been successful yet. It would be nice to see the PA dancers again, I really wanted Shigure, but ended up with Inigo.

- Yeah. they've probably got some stuff in store for the anniversary. My hope is that they make a bunch of the 5* exclusives available in the 4* pool. (cus otherwise me and my bad luck have no hope)

i commend your self-control o i have a hard time saving up beyond a hundred or so now that we get limited banners all the time. i'm also looking forward to more awakening units like libra (and gerome!), hopefully they show up sometime soon ;w;

hehe, i think being excited for christmas is great! i just like tempering my expectations so i can be extra surprised should they do anything... extra, >>; (and i would certainly hope they wouldn't miss out on a chance to do something fun for christmas!) i think it would be neat if we finished the year with a nice round number of heroes, but tbh i'm fine with waiting to see who's number 200, too.

I'm honestly not expecting any Laguz unit before the anniversairy in February. :0 Especially the herons, no idea how you could add them in the game... healing dancers? With no damage at all? Giving them damage options feels so out of character....
