and as for joshua... lol i feel you. it's the same artist for halloween jakob / male robin / seth. i like how they draw clothes but they use the same face every time and i just... i hate it lmao

Awww, I know the feels. When I was summoning for regular Ike (and Hector was in the same pool, so I was summoning green orbs as well) I kept getting Soren and he kept asking about Ike! Having 3 Sorens on my bench waiting for him didn't help me get him (still has no regular Ike... or Hector). Thankfully I do have Brave Ike, who is a beast.

- He was so OP in Stones, I want to use him, but like... he's outclassed by a lot of my other sword units.... and I don't even have Ryouma or Lucina.

Anyone know if the savage blow sacred seal stacks with the skill? (or any of the seals stacking on their skills for that matter, like could you equip close def seal with close def skill and get +12 def/res when under attack? ... that seems a little too broken.)

slaying edge/audhulma has the potential to turn him into a menace... like, i love using quickened pulse (brave weapon/breaker + galeforce + quickened pulse + dancer? it's ridiculous and i love it), so joshua should be an obvious choice for Shenanigans, i just don't know if i want to invest in him when we're going to get the weapons forge soon x;

- I have literally summoned 0 units who have access to galeforce OTL I ran into an Arden with QP Galeforce in the Arena the other day, it was actually pretty scary! Thankfully Alphonse was able to tank on a defensive spot (the 4 hits activated Sol every time).

I'd hold off, Joshua's stats seem pretty lackluster to invest another 5 star unit to give him galeforce.

- I hope so. Are there any galeforce people in it though? I mean, I'm probably only going to be summoning green orbs for Hector anyway. I have also never summoned Hinata for Fury 3 to give to anyone, so all my fury units only have Fury 2. I compared 5* summoning stats with my friends and I have the worst rate of all of us. I still get a higher rate of summoning 3* vs 4* even though they supposedly changed the rate. This game absolutely hates me, so I decided after spending $100 trying to get Hector last time he was available focused (I had an 8.25 summoning rate, and I was only summoning green orbs), that this game gets no more money from me, ever. Period.

(also why Niles and Peri? Iceberg and threaten def?)

there aren't any focus units with galeforce on the 8% banner, but you can get cordelia as 4*, so if at any point you feel like pulling blues, hopefully she shows up instead of ugh, another est or oboro.

and man, i feel that. i haven't run into a pity rate that high but i know me, i know my luck, this game - and any other gacha - isn't getting more than the remains of my itunes cards on occasion. (also i will be crossing my fingers for hector to come home to you this time! hECTOR THAT WAS SO RUDE)

and yep! i still have some niles and peri left over from my quest for summer units, so it's a decent budget build for him until i decide if i like him enough for fancy stuff. joshua has 33 res with audhulma, so iceberg should get him 16 extra damage with each special, and threaten def is just bc i have extra peri.

- Yeah, the real kicker is I didn't get ANY 5 stars on that banner. At least when I was trying to get Beach Gaius I got beach frederick and 5* pricilla, and trying to get nephenee I got 5* Ephraim, but nope, no 5 stars from that banner. Though I did complete my collection of green units that aren't exclusive to 5*. (hurray /sarcasm)

Oh, nice, I think I have a spare Niles and Peri around too (they're probably 3*, I actually ran out of blue crystals the other day cus I summoned a bunch of 3* odin and 3* robin, and wanted them to be 4* for skills). But I'm still about 2k points from 5* joshua, I'll get him when I get a chance to play by bonus points rounds today.

and if you don't mind a longer cooldown, glacies (fir, felicia) is an option too! i just tend to pull more niles than anything else when i brave colorless hell, haha. alternatively, you could give him quick riposte or desperation, or something like that, since he comes with moonbow and that has a short cooldown... i just have more niles sitting around than shannas/subaki, p:

- I don't have a whole lot of anything useful hanging around actually... I really need that box upgrade. I'm a collector, I don't like getting rid of unique units. And I have a serious problem with all these GHB units. I may feed my spare Llyod to Joshua for iceberg instead.

haha, i have a similar problem. i roll loads of duplicates, and even though i should send some of the more useless units home i just... don't. i kept telling myself, "maybe i'll need them later" and now here i am, with three-fourths of my barracks being nonsense like gwendolyn and est lmao

me: "i don't need all these gwendies. i've given all my armored units hone armor and i still have a bunch. time to send some home" also me: "but what if i roll an armored unit i don't have, and i want to give it hone armor. clearly i gotta keep all seven gwendies, in case i somehow get one of the three armored units i don't have"

- Yeah, I have a bunch of Lon'qu cus I'm like, if I get Ryouma, he'll need vantage, if I get Hector, he'll need vantage, if I get takumi, he'll need vantage!! But like... I'm never gonna get those units cus my shitty luck. (They were all in a banner together close to the beginning, I spend so many orbs, I got Azura instead (that was before I started only summoning for the colours I wanted, didn't know that trick!)) Gwen is good for hone armour, and drag back if you can use those strats (lunge and drag back always screw me up)... est however, is pretty much useless. Send her home, or merge her. I also have been keeping around a bunch of the F2Ps at both 3* and 4* for F2P strats when I can't beat a map on my own, so that's bogging down a lot of my barracks as well.

- Savage Blow does stack - I have it on my Takumi, along with his C skill slot - I've currently got it at level 2 and he is doing 12 damage (7 from the C slot and 5 from the skill)

I am the worst at strategic S ranking though, I S ranked my Xander with Hinoka even though they are almost never on a team together, mostly because I like them together in the main game way too much ^^;

The art is so important me, it really makes and breaks how much I want a new character. Every time Robin shows up when I pull blue I want to throw my phone across the room.

eh... i thought the alfonse quests were going to be something interesting like complete x chapter with alfonse, but instead it's just... run training tower a whole bunch. i guess i shouldn't have expected much since people might not have promoted their alfonse but it's still kinda lame ;c oh well, only a day or so 'till fjorm brings christmas in november new content!

i skipped a bunch of the early banners 'cause i didn't realize they were high-value units at the time so i'm in that camp too, ;w; and yeah, i should really at least clean out units that don't have valuable skills/aren't one i want to use, but i just can't help but hoard them all, ^^; i keep telling myself i'll at least give the GHB/tempest units specials and assists and such, but i keep putting that off too, haha

excellent! i love when things like that work out :3 and man, same -- i can't get past cordelia's face, oh geez. and for some units it's like, you're very talented and i like your style, i just... wish you didn't draw this particular character lmao... like AKIRA -- i love their lon'qu, and their raven, and tbh their olivia is very cute! i just wish chiko could've done both the regular olivia and the performing arts one ;o;

- Yeah, sometimes the art changes how I feel about a character. My biggest beef is Rebecca. She is my all time fav FE character, but her heros art has those super creepy eyes! And it makes me die inside every time I see her heroes art. And I mean, I hated arthur anyway, but his Heroes are just reinforces it. And yeah, regular Olivia's art a little too sexy for my taste, I mean, in her injured art, she is literally holding her top on. But some of the art totally makes the characters, like Narcian, I would never have trained him if not for his art. Sometimes the voices too, but I usually play with the volume off, so not as much (at least Rebecca's voice was spot on what I imagined)

today's the last day for trick or defeat; the urge to waste resources was rising so instead of spending orbs on garbage pulls and increased barracks space, i spent feathers and added merges to my fred. he may not be the best unit and this may not be the best use of my feathers, but he is mine and he is 40+3 and i love him

rebecca's in a weird place for me -- i'm not a fan of the art style, but to me, her eyes at least fit stylistically. meanwhile, eliwood has that like, 80/90s manga look going on that i love, but his eyes just look of place to me, i don't like them. miyuu did athena too, and i like her just fine so it's like ?? eliwood, why... either way, it's a bummer that your fav ended up with art you don't like though :c

and lol, the damaged art. that's all hit or miss for me either way but when you get a unit like xander who ends up with a shredded cloak and some scratched pauldrons, and a unit like camilla who ends up with even more boob showing while her enormous, ugly hip tassets are completely untouched it's like... can we not, lmao this is dumb

I've been really lazy with my stamina for this Tempest Trials but just hit like, 65k so that should put me on course for the final prize with a few more battles weaved in. I'm low on motivation at the moment but excited to pull on tomorrow's banner! Up to 400 orbs so I'm gonna pray to all the gods for sweet orb mercy. I really don't want Genny from colourless tbh but yay at healer buffs. Someone tell me that they really like using her, please?

30m till maintenance! ah, i'm very excited for this update, i know it's live at 11 but i can't help but be excited about the datamine anyway haha

i rolled an +atk / -def one that's been useful during tempest trials; she's been great for baiting mages for my boys, she helps chip down units for the others to finish off, and since she should be behind the other units anyway, the only real problems are the usual suspects, archers/daggers. she's a good unit imo, worth building if you don't already have a healer that wants wrathful staff.

- Yeah, I had the same feels about Eliwood's eyes! And the damage art, yeah, it's pretty hit and miss. Some is like super damaged, and others are just like... cringing.

- Better than me, I just got to 50K. I think my motivation is lower cus I've been having bad luck with auto-battling, and I don't have the time ti actually sit and play. 400 orbs, damn, that's a lot. I have like 30. I shouldn't have summoned the rest of the orbs after my free summon for the powerful specials, but they were all blue, and I wanted Nephenee! And I don't have Genny, so I can't say I like using her. I'd probably train her to have around if I did though, mostly just cus healers are super easy to train. I wouldn't use her to give wrathful staff to someone else unless I got two of her (almost all my healers have either L2S or Renewal as their B slot anyway). I'm a collector, so I don't get rid of any unit unless I have duplicates.

My hopes is that I don't end up with 3 Dierdre instead of getting Hector. OTL. I wouldn't be too upset getting Spring Camilla, cus flying mage, but I do not want or need Deirdre.

the aesthetic updates -- backgrounds for the arena and voting gauntlet and such -- look really nice. hope the dataminers post those o:

blessings being limited makes me anxious. i don't enjoy juggling multiple resources, but at least with seals and such, i have some leeway to screw around and do dumb things. it sounds like we only get a few blessings per season though, so you gotta find The Optimal Bestie for the season's Top Unit and i hate that...

also, i hate that fjorm got stuck with the depressing storyline right off the bat and that it segued right into "oh summoner, thank you for everything," and why didn't fjorm's sister open with "Sutr Will Be Invading Shortly, Shelter Your People" instead of "oh hey, go look at this rock real quick"? if rocks > crops and farmers, it's no wonder nifl lasted six months, y'all ain't going to survive a siege without food.

aaand, kids banner is shiro, rhajat, soleil, and seigbert. was hoping for some beast units, but ya get what ya get. inigo and soleil and xander and siegbert could be a fun lil defense team. shiro is handsome (looks better than his old man tbh, and reminds me somewhat of gladio from ffxv), but i'm tired of rolling for blues, and i like my lukas well enough already. same with rhajat, she's pretty but i don't know if i like her art enough to save for the kids banner since i have no attachment to the characters.

e/ new staves are not inheritable? darn. built in wrathful staff or dazzling staff means i don't have to pull 8% banner colorless though, so that's neat

e/ so... my measly 100 orbs got me -atk celica; tried to snipe for green but it rolled red/blue and red/colorless multiple times in a row. quick counting says i could pick up roughly ~40 orbs by friday if i did all the quests and finished off tempest trial but that's definitely not enough for a chance at hector so i think i'll just wait for the christmas/new years banner instead p:
