Wow it's been a while!

Bit sneaky with what they did with Ayra but I have to be honest - on my free pull I got two red orbs, so I picked one and got... Draug (of course) but I had 14 orbs in the bank so I thought why not... and pulled Ayra! I feel so conflicted. (I do already have an Eldigan, he's not /bad/ per se especially since I fed him a Lonqu for Vantage 3 but I'm glad I got the new unit).

They have been so good with the events and the free orbs lately so it was a bit disappointing to see what happened with her. I hope that they will learn from the feedback and not do that again.

Other lucky summons lately... Inigo (I really wanted Axura but I don't know if I can get enough orbs in time for her), PAOlivia (her art is really pretty!), Nephenee and Sigurd. I pulled a lot of average trying to get Sigurd, but on the plus side I am now plus 3 Lonqus, a Hinata, a Shanna, a Barst and a Selena so I have some good skill fodder. I also got a Boey and Titania, who I haven't had before! I've wanted a Titania since she was released (mostly because I think her art is pretty).

I'm actually trying to build up some of the 'lesser' units as well for a bit of a project. I really want to build a good Oboro, but the 3 heroes quest was fun too. I will probably spend some more time working on Frederick, he was really nice to use.

Pahaha I stuck Sigurd on my defensive squad alongside Reinhardt, Cecilia and Azura and have gathered 5 wins, which is my most ever I believe. He also has DD seal. Plan was for him to survive basically anything and trigger Wings of Mercy on my Azura to blow through opponents. Haha kinda mean but I have been struggling to pick up a lot of wins recently, and came out with none two weeks ago.

I'd quite like to build more green horses, personally. I have a couple of 4* Titania and some Fredericks, too, so maybe I could look into either of those. I know Titania really wants DC to shine, however, and that's... not gonna happen. I have 5 red 5* ponies though and, somehow, 8 blue 5*. And just Cecilia repping the greens. Something to think about.

i am admittedly very biased towards fred in general (gestures at frederick) but i firmly believe +hp or +atk / -res fred is The Way To Go. (also helps that i still haven't pulled a decent titania, feh.)

my guy is +hp/-res and runs hammer+ or brave axe+* / fury / renewal and he and best friend lyn burn through most content, esp w/ xander and the devil himself, +atk rein... tbh now that i've written that out, it's no wonder i'm taking forever to build other teams. my core team is obnoxious lol

• i pulled an -atk camilla so fred got a new axe, /shrug. i switch between them as necessary, tbh i prefer hammer+ bc hector is still a pain in the rear. edit / actually so are most armor units >:c sure, hammer exists and most of them have bad res but i don't like armor march. i get spooked each time it shows up on the field. also i don't have armor march, and i'm jealous. >:c

So I pulled a 5* I didn't have today, but once again it wasn't any of the Focus units. x_x

On the plus side it IS Celica so I guess I should still be happy with my pull.

It always sucks when someone breaks your pity rate, especially if you had an high %. Celica is a really good pull though. I use her a lot less since I've completed her build and she has maxed HM, but she's always my go-to red mage when I need one for difficult content!

Hahah I really want a Celica! My Tharja is underwhelming (bad bane, don't remember if it's attack or speed) and she pales against Linde and Nino, who fulfil a similar archetype in their colour, thanks to marginally lower speed. I'll pull for her if she comes on a banner at the right time/doesn't share focus with another red hmmmm. I kinda think she has a good shot at Hero Fest in the future, she seems pretty popular in the fandom. Also her art is stunning. One of my faves in-game.

Running this TT with horsies because Sigurd. My squad is Sigurd/Cecilia/B!Lyn/Axura. Did a few matches this morning and no problems, added Fortify Cavarly to B!Lyn finally and we're running Hone/Hone/Fortify for good buff coverage. I've also added Desperation for B!Lyn for stuff like this, where her glass cannon nature is exposed when contrasted against single matches. Lets her be a little more aggressive and she hits 48 speed with a Hone + Swift Sparrow 2 so has a pretty good chance to double. My Sigurd is sat at 45 speed with Hone right now, thanks to the TT stat boost, which I find hilarious. Especially with base 38 defense and both Close Def and Distant Def. An absolute tank.

I have two red mages but she's not bad.

Thankfuly after useing two of my b-day google plays I got a Taltiu plus a 4* Mathilda so in the end I still got one of the new Geniolagy units. Shame she's +res/-spd I think ( her or Celica is...I forgot)

Currently I have Taltiu, my Eligan and Arvius on my TT team....at lest until Arvius hits lv20....then he'll get swaped for Julia. my sol 5* healer is there as well but if some chance I pull Larchisus with the free orbs I'll swap Serra out for her.

guidance seal is tempest reward... i am shrieking i need it I NEED IT except that my elincia has my quickened pulse seal and has swordbreaker instead of flier formation and i don't... want to change her up so any mixed team i run would need a different flier... maybe it's time for a fun mixed tank team with michalis? hm.

high-key salty that seliph + julia are big parts of the story this time but aren't bonus units while blatant money-grab ayra has no lines but is 40%. "you won't go into this alone" more like my boy won't go into this AT ALL. :|

Yeah, it sucks completely. Julia I could kinda understand (the TT is about saving her, and in the Alm TT Celica wasn't a bonus unit so there was already precedent for this), but there's no excuse for Seliph. Last TT Ike was an 40% bonus unit (along with the new heroes for this game), but at least he was in it!

For now I'm running Arvis, Nino, Sharena and Eirika but I might try to swap Eirika for a healer, even if this means I'm missing on the sweet buffs. Now I only ran the TT like two times today and the first time I failed because who knew Marth had Escape route? haha I hesitated about giving Reciprocal Aid or a movement skill to Arvis, but I finally went the healing route. Way more efficient when my 3 other girls have Fury!

@ cora there really isn't, esp when they spout off "seliph, you're powered up by the tempest, get in there!" and it's like... he's not. maaaybe we'll end up doing a second holy war TT and julia + seliph can be the cool kids on that one? idk s:

i haven't actually run it yet, i haven't decided if i want to run horse emblem & surrender for bonus unit last hit or just run with an infantry team with arvis the whole time. i'm reluctant to give up my extra movement, haha

[edit] shoulda thought about this during 2x sp weekend but i have a +def/-hp lukas... gonna do a budget build kinda deal and see if he plays well with arvis; if yes than gr8, infantry tempest team. if not then... i'm still gonna do a tank team later because why not

e^2 lukas is amazing?? i was a fool for waiting this long to build him. also i rolled on the performing arts banner again - my pity rate was reset by a neutral jaffar :') i think that's a sign i should stop, no one else from that banner is going to come home lmao (but i really want olivia rip)

How about a dancer to complement the line-up? Dancers reign supreme! I find they're most handy when paired with those fragile mages, personally, to dance them out of position.

I love Lukas! Don't even know what IVs mine has but I've built him. Just stuck QR2 + Bonfire on him and he's a beast, really handy for things like AA when you know there's reds or blues he can just park in front of.

I've saved up just over 300 orbs again so hope there's a Halloween banner on the horizon, my orb hand is twitching.

Also I made a pretty basic score tracker for the Tempest Trials just to get an idea of where I am and thought I'd share it cos why not. I highlighted the cells you might want to change depending on your goals. The daily points are just based on running the three quests on Lunatic 7 (2115, twice, from 3x bonus runs, 705 from one additional run), points required is obviously my overall target and current points is... my current points. :^) So yeah, pretty self-explanatory but thought others might wanna see how they're coming along.

Commented you earlyer but I now have a second 5* healer besides Serra.

Pulled Larchesis from the banner this morning with my free orbs. I know Arya is the cream of the crop for that banner but chances are I'd get a spare Elidgan and I've wanted his sister for awhile. Plus there's things where a second healer would have use ( Squad Assult or a TT run going south even though that hasn't happened since the first TT event)

i'm drowning in niles so i gave my lukas ignis and he is an absolute menace, i love him

also earlier i would've said nah, we're not getting a halloween banner after the performing arts one, but after the shenanigans with ayra... i still think we're more likely to see a harvest/autumn festival one next month but anything could happen haha

and thank you for the excel sheet! i'm bad at pacing myself with TT; i tried a similar thing for the last one but your way is nicer (and not an index card lost on my desk lol)

e^2 - the halloween banner basically the november banner...? aw, i wanted cute orange units. that's ok though, the new henry is super cute!! bryce's henry voice makes me very happy, 'cause it reminds me of his chat noir voice haha (i want jakob!! handsome armored mage!! curse colorless hell!!!)

Spent about 180 orbs on the Halloween banner this morning... results were errrr mixed. Haven't pulled any of the special characters yet. I was blessed, however, by my very own pity breaker Celica! And she's +Spd -HP which is cool. Not sure what build is best but did inherit Renewal onto her, as I have a decent stash of Faes. I think Life and Death might be her best bet? Or Swift Sparrow but obvs don't have fodder there, heh.

And my second 5* was obviously a Jakob, like, plain old Jakob. I feel like I've joined a secret club. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with him but hm, he exists.

Bit disappointed as I was really hyped to add some variety to my armoured units but that's the game, I s'pose! I still have around 180 orbs left but think I'm gonna keep those stashed and see how the rest of the month plays out before committing. I think Hero Fest 3 must be on the horizon, if not this month then next.

I did finally get a +Atk Cherche, and she's -Spd to boot! I spot a project!

@ Thomas I went with Fury for my Celica, the only downpoint is that it makes her loose 11Hp when she is full HP (6 from Fury and 5 from Ragnarok) while Renewal heals only 10. I guess with Life and Death she could be at max HP more often since she wouldn't take the chip damage from Fury. I probably should try it! I don't have Swift Sparrow fodder neither so definitely not going for that one though.

I've spent 100 orbs on the Halloween banner so far and got Neko Sakura for now. I have 60 orbs left, TT to finish and November is around the corner so I'm probably going to try to get at least one more before saving up again! I was hyped for Witch Nowi but her speed stat is meh apparently, the armoured units seem to be really good though!

My boyfriend got super lucky and he got seasonal 2 Jakobs and 1 Sakura, in less than 80 orbs I think. So he's done with colourless hell XD (but can you call it an hell when it gives you the right focus units? haha)

Are you going for that Brave Axe Cherche build? I'm almost done with mine, I think once my B!Ike reaches 3000 HM (and it should be soon thanks to the TT) I'll replace him with her on my team and sees how that goes c:

Wanted Vampire Henry...but got Nowi so can't complain for my first flying mage since I never got summer Corrin and I missed out of Bunny Camilla due to not having a phone that could run it at the time she was out. I'll keep trying for Henry with any free orbs I get, though I want to use up that pitty bonus I built up on the flyer banner first if I can.

For consolation summons I got my first Merric and yesterday my first Soren ( both 4*)

Yeah that's what puts me off Fury for her, the HP drop is just a smidgen too much. I'll give it a go and see how it plays out! I have a few spare Hanas so will have to promote one soon and pass it along. :) I'm waiting 'til Friday to train her up for the delicious double EXP. I also need to train up Arden, too, as I totally forgot about him last weekend.

And ohhhh so jealous of his units! Hahah I'm trying to slowly get my boyfriend into the series but it's a struggle. He used to like Advanced Wars, also by Intelligent Systems, but for some reason seems reluctant to try out the games. Whenever he watches me play he says it looks repetitive which errrr... yeah maybe he has a point. It's still challenging though! I need to clear Squad Assault 4 and Ursula's Infernal GHB, still, I've been slacking with TT here.

And yeah gonna go Brave Cherche! She's gonna be a big investment, like, she needs a 20k promotion, 20k feathers on Brave Axe+ fodder and 20k feathers on Death Blow 3 as I've still never seen a Klein. :x I have around ~73k feathers at the moment so it's possible, just a little intimidating!

I am building a brave Cherche at the moment, she is a lot of fun. I've only got her a 4* at the moment but she is already wrecking everything so it's well worth the investment.

I'm really behind on my tempest trial, I've only just got the attack smoke seal. Guess it's time to do some serious grinding - Ayra, Axura, PA!Olivia and Olwen are my current team. I think Olwen wrecks things as well as her brother so I'm going to give her death blow eventually. PA!Olivia is also a surprisingly heavy hitter. Ayra just kills everything, even blues but I suspect that is because of her TT boost.

I got a Nekomata Sakura on my free pull (I think she is +speed) and I decided to do another pull just for fun - and got another one. That's never happened to me before. I don't think I'll pull from the banner again because although armoured bows and mages are interesting I just don't like Henry or Jakob as characters. I'm indifferent to Nowi.

I also pulled from the flier banner just to see if I could get a Minerva - I had no green orbs so picked a random blue so ended up with an extra Hinoka. I'm not sure if I'll merge her on my current Hinoka or if I'll feed her to someone for Hone Fliers.

Between these 2 Sakuras and my PA Olivia I think I've been really lucky in colourless hell, I am probably due a run of bad summoning luck (perhaps if release a seasonal Takumi or Ryoma, or run another Sacred Stones banner)

i've been pulling on the halloween banner in search of henry (at this point, i really want a silly green tank team, and well, vampire henry is very cute!) but the banner has given me 5* young tiki and elise instead p: elise is +atk/-def, which seems to be a good roll, but either way i'm very glad she's come home, i've wanted her for ages ;o; i need a second genny so elise can have wrathful staff...

tempest trial is good for resources but i just... really don't like having tt + ghb + special maps. i feel drawn all over the place ><;
