Literally what the fuck. Pulled 30 orbs and got a +Atk -Def Brave Lyn, +Spd -Def Bride Cordelia and +Spd -HP Spring Camilla... like... wtf. Also a Hinata from my free pull after I've been eyeing up Fury 3 for my Brave Lucina. Like...

what do I even do with these 370 orbs after using a year's supply of luck. I feel blessed right now, praise Naga.

edit: y'know now I have Spring Camilla I feel confident building my fliers team as I have three Hinokas so can pass buffs on... except I've never pulled a Caeda, so no Fortify Fliers. She's 4*! I think she's the only 4* from launch I haven't pulled yet aside from like, a couple of colourless heroes.

Would gladly trade one of the 3 or 4 Caeda I got today for one of your 5*. Or a Klein haha (I think he's the only 4* I don't have, so I get that it's so frustating!)

I was sooo hyped for the update and then... I spent 140 orbs on the banner, got nothing but a Brave Lyn which I already have... Did the first chapter so I could gather some more orbs and got a Celica which I already have too. I knew there was a possibility this would happen but I'm still really disappointed I didn't get at least one or two more 5*. I don't even feel like opening the app again today. XD

I know he's useful for SI so i'll hold onto him but my hunt for Easter Units continues ( even though Blue is considered a bad pull on the competative front, it, colorless and Green have the most units I lack...but colorless is a constalation if I can't pull a green or blue orb in a session.

haha, same! word on the street is we're likely getting a second legendary banner in decemeber, so hopefully 1) it has units you want and 2) your luck is much, much better ;w;

I wasted all my 71 orbs on that new banner and got nothing of any interest except on the very last attempt when I managed to pull Fjorm.

Haha thanks, I was a bit awestruck after pulling them first thing this morning! Already trained up Bridelia and donated her a Brave Bow+. As she's +Spd I could run Firesweep, apparently, but I've never stumbled across a Faye, After reading the reaction on Reddit, I think people got a bit swept away by the whole 8% thing without realising the rates are the same as any other Hero Fest, just without the 5* pity breakers. It's obviously a great banner! But there's still a lot of randomness involved.

And yeah, I've been pretty conservative over the past couple of months. Spent about 150 orbs on Halloween but gave up after pity breaker Celica and plain ol' Jakob dashed my dreams. New legendary banner sounds exciting! I wonder if we'll get a new elemental hero to complement Fjorm? The elemental buff thing is... interesting if a little pointless, by the look of it.

And healers look like so much fun now! I only have Maria at 5* but I'd love to pull a couple more now, actually, they seem really worthwhile!

I spent 80 orbs on the legendary banner and got 0 5*, and a 10.5% pity rate. I feel a little sad.

I did however pick up another Klein, a Leon, a Lonqu, 2 Barsts and a Hinata so I got some good fodder. All I really want is another Celica though for her distant defence...

I might just save for Siegbert and Shiro.

So, that would mean we get this Legendary banner atm, then Fates kids, then probably the limited Christmas banner, then another Legendary one? My orbs are not ready! I can at least skip the Fates kids banner I guess, since they should stay in the pool anyway. The only one I might want is Rhajat ('cause she was my MVP in Birthright even if I'm not really fond of the character) and if she is demoted at 4* rarity after the banner I can wait for it c:

Yeah, I definitely think everyone was overestimating the 8% rate. I mean, I should have known better since I tried that summon simulator thing. But oh well! Funny thing is my new Celica has the exact same IVs as the one I already had. I don't know yet if I'm going to merge her or use her for Distant Def fodder. Lyn is +hp -res so I'm probably going to keep the neutral one. I don't want to lose 3 Res points when I use her for baiting mages!

I guess I'm just going to explore the new content for now, finish TT, and see how many orbs I can get by next week and see if it might be worth it to try the Legendary banner again!

I pulled a bunch of useless 3* for the free summon on the banner. Ugh. It's only here for 5 days. RIP Hector, I guess I really never will get you.

- Hate you so much right now. Ugh. I hate all this luck based stuff, I have the worst luck ever. I've summoned nothing but 3s and a 4 arthur.

- Yeah, I didn't think the blessing thing would be single use, I thought it would be more like the supports, like you could change it, but doing so would lose the benefits for the other character. I wasted mine on Joshua cus I was like, I'm training him now and he needs more SP! Oh well.

This game has just gotten WAY TOO complicated. I mostly just play it as a collection game, but unless I want to spend thousands of dollars on it, I HAVE to keep up competitive appearances in order to collect. :( I suffered from enough decision anxiety before, now it has just jumped like 10 fold.

elemental blessing gives a cool lil little shadow to the hero that uses it, and i really want to use it For The Aesthetic(TM), but since they're consumable and i only have one... i'm probably just going to hoard it ;w;

as for healers -- oh man, i'm so hyped. i wasn't paying attention last night and thought the staff+ upgrades were restricted, so realizing i was having a dumb and elise can totally have pain+ or absorb+ is very exciting! hell, if i was really crazy i could run full-on healer emblem... it's a good thing i burned through all my feathers tbh, it'll keep me from making rash decisions haha

yeah, i really wish blessings were transferable like seals. i don't want to have to pull multiple fjorm or whoever to give my favorite units cute shadows! hopefully the devs give a few out, so we aren't stuck with praying to rng for an extra ><;

The sad thing is I read the probability to get Hector on this one... is the lowest probability to date. I guess because he didn't share focus on Hero Fest and Choose Your Legends Gauntlet, absolute bummer if you're aiming for him though. :( At least green is a good focus, any of the units will serve you well if you pull them! Hector isn't the be all and end all but I totally understand how frustrating it must feel. At least we have a lot of orbs to collect! There's 33 from the story chapters, 10 more from their quests, then chain challenges and Tempest Trials and December Quests on top of that.

And yeah, I was feeling very overwhelmed by the influx of quests and icons and content! I think it's starting to settle with me now, though I have no idea who to weapon forge first, I totally hear you guys with decision anxiety. BUT at the end of the day it's a game, and sometimes we make mistakes, and that's okay because we'll be able to fix it down the line one day. And 90% of the time I make the right decision anyway! That's how I try and talk myself down. I was like this with the seals at first too, though, and have now fully upgraded five of them. I think a little time and perspective helps. :)

But yeah, to collect /everything/ is an absolute struggle, I hear you. I've skipped quite a lot of the limited banners because I think they'd crush me time and time again, the frustration of pulling the wrong unit is amplified when they potentially aren't coming back for a year and you're running low on orbs. The only one I've went hard on is Performing Arts because dancers are my one true vice.

I still have Serra and Larchesis ( typo), seems from what I saw with the refinery that you can now build Wrathful Staff into their weapons now so looking forward to that.

Odd thing is it seems a good chunk of my 5* can't get upgrades >_<, guessing gem Weapons and other unique weapons still lack upgrades ( Poor Narcian) or there's some restriction I didn't cross with them.

Yeah the stuff that was already seen as good wasn't touched upon - like raven tomes, blade tomes, many unique weapons - but there are a few others like Male Corrin, Leo and Eirika whose weapons could do with rebalancing (let alone the Askr trio, poor things) so I'm sure we'll see more adjustments down the line once the new changes settle.

- Yeah, It's weird the Ephraim can get upgrades, but not Eirika. Male Corrin and Leo need some help too, I don't have either of them though. Nuuu don't tell me that I have the worst chances to get Hector now! I spent so much money on the first two he was in and didn't get him!!! And, the dancer banner, yes, my orb stash was completely depleted by that. I got surprise Matilda after spending about 150 orbs trying to get Shigure. Then I spent the rest of my orbs to continue to get him, and I got Inigo instead on a circle that had no blue orbs. At lesat I got one, but still so upsetting.
And I still don't know what to do with the stupid Matilda, she's not great stat wise, but Cancel Affinity is actually a pretty great skill, especially with all the raven + TA adept people running around the arena, but the ridersbane + can also get a pretty sweet upgrade to nullify stat bonuses on Cavalry. Unfortunately, it's impossibly to have her pass down both those skills, and I don't want to use her on principle cus I'm mad at her!

- When it comes to RNG, there isn't anyone with worse luck than me. I'm not noticing any little shadows... Hrm. Well, I put Joshua and Fjorm together as a support pair too, they're doing ok together. I guess it's not too much of a waste.

i don't like to spend money on phone games since i usually don't stick with them for too long, so i just... roll with my rolls, hah. i won't lie, it does make me a little sour when a unit's been in the general pool since forever and i still don't have it... but that's just how gatcha is, and i look to things like that guy who spent $1k when the game first launched and still didn't get hector, or sakuraguy's quest for kitty sakura as motivation for not taking chasing any unit too seriously x:

and i believe you gotta play with the animations on to see the shadows, it's a tiny bonus new thing, like the ding! noise you get when your unit takes no damage. i used joshua and fjorm together to clear the new chapters, they seem like a decent pair... i just find it very hard to commit to using such limited resources ><;

- Yeah, I saw that post when the game first came out! And now I'm like... damn, I am that guy. Although... I bet he has Hector now, cus if he was willing to spend $1000 to try for him unfocused, I bet he would have put in at least the same to get him when he came available in the focus pool. But yeah, I'm with you. If I get like google play gift cards I'll use them, and if I stick with it for more than a month or so, I'll send them a bit of money from time to time because obviously I've gotten some enjoyment out of it, and want them to keep supporting. Ah, that would be why, I usually have the animations turned off.

So Bridellia now has a Brave Bow+, Reposition, Luna and Life and Death 3 and... it's almost comical. She's an actual nightmare. I've just been bringing her along to chapters and chain challenges and she's lethal to melee units, even armoured units with Way Fighter get chunks taken out of them with Luna firing off constantly. I'm totally going to set her as my unit for the next voting gauntlet! Just need to decide on her B and C skills. I do have a 5* Mathilda who I... don't use. Feel a bit guilty foddering her off for Cancel Affinity but she pity broke me and I have so many blue cavs, and she's +HP -Def which is fine at best. It does seem a bit niche, though.

- I have that same Mathilda sitting around! Kill her! lol. Your Bridellia sounds like my Brave Lyn. She'd do well with Cancel Affinity (sacae blessing is too useful in arena to take off Lyn) there's so many TA raven tome users in the arena these days, she would throw them off. As for C it could be anything really, depends on what you want her to do. A hone/fortify/drive would be best for voting gauntlet though.

Yeah I've hesitated on altering my Brave Lyn's base kit too much as it's pretty stellar to start with and I'm usually happy with her performance. Ilike how fast she can go with Swift Sparrow and horse buffs (typically run her with my horse team) and the niche of Mulagir is cool and its base +3 spd, bringing her a full 8 points above Brave Bow variants. Sometimes I sub in Desperation for content like Chain Challengers where she'd rather not get hit at all. BUT with all that said, I think Cordy is showing me the potential of Brave Bow and I might revise Lyn's kit down the line.

- Lyn still quads things a lot with the brave bow + swift sparrow, and with moonbow equipped she gets that bonus on practically every attack. I do wish that I could equip her with the brave bow for my teams, and have her set with Mulagir for arena defense team, cus she likes to go on suicide missions when AI controlled and the -5 speed does hurt her in those situations. Double brave Lyn is my counter to brave lyn in the arena. lol.
