Haha I am so bad at fodder decisions, I have so many manuals that are just sat there because I can’t make decisions XD

If it were me I’d go Dimitri because I think he might be better for ftp guides, and well, I just didn’t like Edelgard and couldn’t really bond with her in 3H. I also think her being an armour leaves her open to extra weaknesses that infantry Dimitri doesn’t have. I personally wouldn’t fodder Claude (not yet at least) since colourless bow flyers are rare, and I have long since maxed out STakumi and BowHinoka.

As for me, I kept going to the first spark (no self control, lol) and on my way I got another BDimitri, an FLyon and BEdelgard. So 6 5* in 135 orbs, not bad XD I picked up a neutral Dimitri for guide purposes and I still have my free summon gift to get. Idk if I’m going for Dimitri again (for merges) or if to got for Lysithea to complete the set. Looking at my HM though, I barely use red mages so... more decisions I guess XD

- I'm not going to sac any of them, I have a free summon for a duplicate I can sac for fodder. (I don't fodder unique units, i only fodder duplicates) I already got Dimitri neutral summoned from my spark. He was the only one I didn't get along the way to the spark. I got surprise Lysithea on my vanilla circle which gave me the last 5 summons I needed to get to 40, otherwise I would have grabbed her to complete the set, but as it were, she showed up at the last minute with a great IV (+spd -def) so now I have a free summon for skill fodder, and I dunno who to get.

September update: Dancer banner's been pretty good to me! I've gotten all of them except dancer horse. I dunno if I have the heart to snipe for them. I want that niche... but last time I tried to colour snipe it took me over 200 orbs to get the unit I wanted, and the time before that it took even more cus I got pity broken :(
But I do have 350 orbs... Going to wait and see who the new units are next week first I think,

I'm into FE: Heroes myself! I don't have my code right this second but I'll post it if anyone's interested. I'm so excited that they added Seteth, Flayn, Catherine, and Shamir recently! Still trying for the Tiki and Ninian duo too.

god that's a mood! The banner has been cruel to me so far too, I've been struggling to earn up orbs because I've either exhausted so many of the free options or don't have strong enough units to fight me though some of the other free options. It's a real fight man so I feel it big time. I'm hoping to get the Tikian and the Fall Vessel Robin, but that hasn't done me any luck, except for two four star Xane units |D

- I wasted all my luck on the dancer banner (got all of them in about 200 orbs.) I use a lot fo f2p guides on youtube for the harder maps cus I'm lazy. lol. For a lot of these limited maps, there haven't been many good f2p strats, so I've been missing out on a few rewards, but it's mostly just codes, not orbs, so I don't mind.

It's been surpriseingly nice the last few Birthdays. What was REALLY odd this year was BOTH Gacha games decided to be nice this week ( Fire Emblem and Fate Grand Order). Normally only FE is.

I should probably start saving orbs again, instead of trying for Halloween L'Arachel. I mostly just want her cus her costume is AMAZING, but I can always just look at art online.

Sorry I poofed for a bit. Still floating around and playing. I’ve been fairly lucky with my summons (apart from Halloween and the double special heroes, no Oboro merges for me :C). Decided to avoid the Ninja banner like the plague since the last few special banners have been... an experience.

Since the brave banner, I’ve managed to snag: LCorrin, Bramimond, LDimitri, LSeliph, Plumeria, DSigurd and a +def LChrom. Also got pity breakers from Duo Mia, BNailah, Anna and F Kris which were nice surprises. Most impressively I got a 5* Florina (+HP -def) on the TT banner (I know!)

Very lucky today as well and got 2(!) Melady’s on the same circle from the last summon ticket. Time to stare at her fodder and make no decisions about what to do with it.

Trying to decide on a new merge project since I finished Tethys: I really love Ninja Hana’s art and my so she is very tempting. Also want to build another lance unit - so idk what to do there because IS do like giving us Lance users.

My CYL summon is still sat there doing nothing because I can’t decide if I want Lysithea for catalogue, Dimitri for a merge (he’d be +2) Edelgard to get rid of her -atk or Claude so I can give his rein skill to Seteth. I’m really bad at this :(

- Ninja banner was not nice to me, you were good to avoid it OTL. But thankfully that luck somewhat balanced out with a free summon og Guinevere on the new heros banner, with a great IV (+att -def)

If you want to build a lance user, and are also contemplating burning Brave CLaude for his Rein skill for Seteth, then why not build Seteth? He's pretty legit. He can run solo or play support role.

I got Resplendent Caeda with my FEH pass, so I feel like I should build her, and now it's even more tempting to get Brave Edelgard for my free CYL summon to give Caeda distant ward... but that still feels like a waste. I don't really need another sword merge or another flier merge. Also on the fence about building gaius, he's my second favorite all time FE character, and I just picked up an extra fallen Marissa... flashing blade 4 meshes super well with his PRF, and is really the only way to make him viable even with his prf. And I also broke down and spent way too many orbs trying to get Halloween L'Arachel only to end up with another Llewyn, so I also have special spiral fodder... but kinda just missed my chance to use him though, cus he was arena bonus unit last week, and now I feel like that ship has sailed and I shouldn't bother. OTL Too much descision anxiety. lol

in retrospect, most of the special banners this year have been pretty ass to me. Easter and Valentines were okay, but from Start of it All onwards they’ve been a bit of a train wreck with high pity% and/or off focus breaks. The flip side of that is the legendaries have been okay so it balances it out I guess.

That said I did poke at blue on the new double special heroes and got Baby Palla in about 50 orbs (with tickets). Her original banner was awful so I’m glad I was able to get her. Hoping the next double special is in January so I can try and save a bit more for Pirate Xander who also eluded me on his first run.

Haha, I am planning on +10-ing Seteth but... the newer demotes just don’t like me so I’m worried he’ll take a while to come home. (Tethys took nearly a year to get 11 copies of and it weren’t for that free manual I’d still be waiting. At the moment the blue projects I’m thinking about are Altena, Ferdie (who is also slow to come home despite the many, many blue orbs I’ve pulled since his release), Petrine and Galle. Idk anything about Petrine or Galle but their art is cool. Decision anxiety is the worse.

I impulse merged Caeda a while back and gave her a really basic fury/desperation set with iceberg and her refine and I’ve never regretted it, she was MVP so many times. Haven’t used her for a while but iirc she’s still very good at deleting armors even in the current metas. I don’t have FEH pass (even resisted Takumi) so her extra stats will only make her better, so she’s worth the investment IMO. I find I enjoy Feh more when I play with my favourites so I think you should make a Gaius and have a ton of fun with his build C:

OMG I'd send you my Seteths if I could! He keeps showing up and all I want is Ferdie and Illyana! I got him as 5s and two 4S on his banner, and 6 copies of him since. I have 1 Illyana, and 3 Ferdie's OTL. I have a blue flier merge already, I'd prefer to have a different type of blue to merge, although I did just merge Jeorge, so I have more blue merges than anything else right now. I should probably do an healer, since I have wrath AND dazzle fodder ... but I dunno who. Stats on healers are always so lack luster. I'm tempted to do Brady cus I enjoyed using him in awakening (rightful King + Miracle ftw) But also kinda want to wait and see if they bring in Moulder or Natasha at some point. lol. SS lacks any healer outside of winter Eirika atm, since they made L'arachel a mage.

Those are good points. Caeda used to MVP on my fliers only teams, she could hop right back into that role nicely with Distant Foil. But Florina does a pretty good job filling the same role (aka. dragon armour killer) My Florina is + 10 with DC and a number of other 5s investments. She is my only +10 flier atm though. And yeah, I should probably just build Gaius, I don't know who else is deserving of the investments of those skills. I mean, Ninja Zihark would have been great with flashing blade 4, and ZIhark was a favourite from PoR/RD, but as he is limited, he doesn't have much merge potential, and as I mentioned before, that banner was mean to me. I did get a 4* copy of him, with an ok IV (+spd -def, he is an unmerged 4* unit and has the highest speed of ALL my units. lol) I wish they would put another red unit in the NORMAL 4* pool OTL. I'll wait until a +spd Gaius shows up to merge him though. Current one is +att, which becomes redundant with his prf if his speed is higher, being a gen 1 unit... his 34 spd is now sloooooow. Actually... most guides rec +att cus he gets +4 spd with his prf, which I forgot about, and his base is actually 36, so that gives him a base of 40, which is respectable...

I'm jealous of all those Seteths! I hope he has a change of heart regarding me soon... idk, I kind of stopped with Three Houses after I finished Crimson Flower but maybe I need to do Silver Snow (this is a wild and baseless assumption, haha). I haven't pulled an Ilyana yet either... so some things to catch up on. I realised I had one more ticket to get from the quests, so I grinned that one and got another Ingrid, so that's pretty exciting. I guess the game heard me complaining about the special banners being rubbish to me LOL.

I have a +10 Mercedes for a healer, she's fun. Her build I think (without looking) she has Gravity+ and I kept Miracle on her. She is Razzle Dazzle of course and she has atk/res bond too and savage blow. If I can't decide on a merge project I might spend the feathers and give her Pain+ as well for options. I ran her on the last TT and she killed more things than Laevatein did, LOL. I hear Emmeryn is also meant to be a really good healer too, but I haven't pulled too many of her since she came out and I've not really used her either.

Hall of forms is going well - Dimitri has distant foil and Edelgard has distant counter and Null Follow Up. I realise it's not the most efficient use of Forma souls but I have a few kicking around and well, if I get good specials for them they would be tempting purchases. Especially since IS seem to be doing their best to ignore grail units right now.

- I got another 2 Seteths trying to get something, ANYTHING on the double hero banner... took me until 8.5% pity rate and finally got Ingrid. >.< (Also pulled a bunch of Tethys OTL)

Yeah, Emmeryn looks like she's got a pretty good stat line, but I'm not a huge fan of her art, it's kinda bland. I'm probably more inclined to build Eremiya of the new healers we've gotten.

Yeah, my Hall of Forms is going decent. Edelgard got Distant Ward and then immediately after got Barrier Axe. Claude's got att/Spd push 4, Savage Blow, and Blue Flame, Dimitri's got Att/Def push 4 and Galeforce (I'm hoping I can get him heavy blade or something), Hubert has kind of gotten crappy options, he's got swap though, movement assists are always handy.

:EDIT: Ugh, clearly in a summoning slump and I should just give up, but I really like Tiandra! And Freya is just OP and I want her cus of that, but in 11 summoning circles I've seen only TWO green orbs! And of course, I got pity broken by Shinnon. OTL At least he's a new unit, but couldn't I have at least gotten someone not in the reg summoning pool??

Congrats on the Ingrid! Oooph that is a high pity rate, but if it brings some comfort on the previous special heroes banner I got up to 11% before it coughed up anything (-atk Mia, and Bride Nailah) It's the worse when that happens.

That is freaking rough on the legendary banner >.< How rubbish. At least Shinon has some pretty OP fodder? Did things turn around?

I spent all my horded orbs (approx. 180) on this legendary banner pulling green and occasionally colourless. No Freyja, but I did get Triandra, as well as a -atk Shinon on a circle with no greens, and a +atk Leif which is great, because it means I can merge him rather than spend fruits on him. That said, I'm fully expecting this month to bring Kiragi and Legendary Xander (plus the pirate re-run) to make me fully regret it. Orb income just feels so slow right before the big updates.

Finished all tries on hall of forms today. Edelgard is leaving with Huge Fan+, DC, Null Follow Up and a Joint Hone; Dimitri has flowing lance+, Distant Foil, Snag and Joint Drive Spd. I'm going to spend some of my outstanding souls on those two, since I can't really say no to those skill sets.

- It's not always the worst when it happens, I got up to a 13% pity rate once, then summoned 3 5s units at once... but when you get up that high and then only get ONE 5s, then it really sucks OTL.

I got Tiandra finally, but I had 4 more green-less circles before I got her! Worst luck OTL She has a terrible IV too (-att +hp) but oh well, generally don't care about IVs on my dancers. Yeah, Shinnon's good, he's a solid unit. I won't be foddering him off probably, unless I get a new one. Mine's +att, but -spd. lol. He still has 39 spd with -spd. Speed creep is real.

Not interested in any of these formas, even though they did get some good skills Edelgard was my MVP with Distant Foil and Barrier Axe, that she got early, the rest of her skills were meh, though I got her some decent ones after beating the final tower, repo/att/def link, threaten att/def3 . Claude coming in second with his stacked set of Candlewax bow+ spd, deadeye for special, Att Spd Push 4, Lull att/spd, rouse att/spd and unfortunately couldn't round it out with SS seal, but he had sturdy blow, so still that extra attack. Hubert finally became useful after getting Fort Def/Res 4 bring his res up to a respectable amount for his two ploy skills, and lull spd/res as his B skill, Conchshell +res to raise his att and res even more. Dimitri ended up pretty meh, att/def push, he got a snag skill at the end, but mostly had chill att/spd, and joint hone res, I don't even remember which lance he had at the end, he kept getting terrible options, I think he had the carrot lance cus lolz, I got rid of galeforce on him for bonfire, cus galeforce just never activated, and I couldn't get him any skills to add special charges. I am contemplating getting the Reinhardt Orb pack though...

I saw Natasha on the new banner and thought of you! Guess Sacred stones finally has it’s none 5* star healer now

I did one last clutch summon on the mythic banner and got a Freyja so that’s pretty exciting... she is -atk +def though so probably the worst spread she can get, lol. It feels like I have gotten a lot of -atk 5*s lately from focus units (I count: BDimitri, BEdelgard, LCorrin, Bramimond, SMia, Plumeria, Shinon, Triandra, Freyja) but can’t complain when so many of them are so OP anyway.

I LOVE the new book aesthetic. Like that the characters all look short too, that’s a nice nod to dwarves without making them hairy. Also very interested that we’re getting a spark on the seasonal banner! I really love Duessel and Selena too, but i need blues I have a hope of merging, haha. So the plan is to wait until the legendary banner is revealed before spending again. Hope I can do it.

Hello! I'm in FEH myself, actually I'm a veteran to the series! I play heroes since it's start. My love are through fe6, fe7, and fe8. With soft spots for 4/5/and a little bit for echoes, awakening and fates too.

The new banner makes me so happy, sadly I have low orbs due to a problem I had with it and I'm waiting for the christmas banner to come out to see if I should summon (or better... cry) or not, while trying for Selena.... ahahaha... My friend code is 9465592920 <3 if anyone wants it.

My last draw where Baby Palla and Duessel, one from the gold tickets black friday banner, the other from the current while trying for Selena.

- Yup, and I got her 4s for free with my first ticket. Then got pity broken by Selkie. (with another bad IV ugh, +HP -Spd this time, current one is +HP -res, not even sure she's worth merging with those IVs! But she doesn't have stellar inheritable skills either)

The christmas banner looks interesting, so I'm going to save up for that instead, not too interested in the current banner. People are speculating Karel and Serra are on it, I'm excited for upgraded Karel, his OG is so sad now :( And impossible to build too. But I hope it's not 100% armor again OTL.

Recently completed my SS cartridge for 100% support conversations, now I'm working on FE7, it's a lot slower going! Congrats on your Dussel and Baby Palla! I spent WAY too many orbs on the double banner trying to get Palla or Ingrid. I did eventually get Ingrid but only after spending about 200 orbs :( (and 0 pity breakers along the way! worst)
