Freyja I found goes down easily to Micaiah but I really hated fighting the Krises.

I don’t know much about New Mystery but I don’t really like the either as characters? Avatar pandering really puts me off in general but it appears that Kris did all the heroic stuff and then let Marth take the credit? That really cheapens Marth’s arc If that’s the case.

Also: I finally made Tier 21 in Aether raids o/ I hope that I don’t go down between now and the end of the season.

True, Kris is also annoying with the blanket +4 to everything unless you bait with a damaged unit OTL. Still haven't tried to beat that map on lunatic yet. lol. Been using my stamina for forging bonds instead.

OMG... they gave Hel different skills to make her even more broken OTL. As if all her built in weapon skills weren't enough, she now gets DC, blanket -4 to all stats and reduce damage from first attack by 50%. Horray! No wonder I'm struggling to keep my arena team competitive and get deathless runs. Every two weeks they are coming up with something even more broken than the last. OTL

Yeah. I suppose in gatcha power creep in to be expected (after all would anyone still be pulling for new units I’d they had launch stats after 4 years) but the creep and monetisation has been so aggressive this year. Built in miracle with a unit that essentially can’t be doubled (is her throne on rollerskates? Lol) was obnoxious enough, she didn’t need Iotes and DC as well.

I’m sort of disappointed they added her, it would have nice in a weird way if she had never been made available. Just seems a bit weird lore wise that she has joined the order of heroes.

Idk, I’m finding myself less interested in the game at the moment. We are due another summer celebration soon, but they are having another BHB ‘Party’ according to the data mine. Like, it’s not a party if you don’t reset the awards and add a single quest where the rewards are 20 Midgard Gems.

Wish they’d shake things up a bit, like just demote some of the y1 5s to 4 only or something, just so there are some new projects to work on. Everyone is building Ross, Echidna and Norne, it’s so boring.

- I don't mind creep, I just wish they would make more stuff available at 4* (they have been better with that this year) but some of the book 3 units now ought to be dropped, like Selkie, and Sumia. (and also to your last point, yr 1 units, especially ones that suck now and don't have any unique skills, like Karel and Ephraim and Elise) And yeah, weapons need to be limited to like 2 effects max, unless it gets a 3rd by refine. You can't grant stats, AND have an A slot skill, AND a B slot skill, AND an enemy debuff. (I shudder to think what dumb skills they will grant to the already stupidly broken Freya when they release her as a legendary unit, in order to keep her up with the continuing creep)

Yeah, I kind of feel the same way about her as I felt with Surtur, like... it's dumb. Why are we welcoming these people into our ranks?? One of her quotes is like 'I wish for all the living to be dead' or something along those lines... why are we letter her hang out with us??

And if you DON'T want to build one of those few 4* drops they have made recently (which are like 80% green, I need another green +10 like a hole in the head), you either have to suffer low arena scores/failing maps due to power creep, or fork out millions to get the 5* locked units.

I was thinking about using a form on VIke, I was lucky enough to get Armour Stride on him. But on the other hand, I already have a ton of armour units I don't use.

Aether Raids is just overwhelming at 21+ I can't even scratch most teams. Thank god for the auto dispatch.

Got pity broken by Osian on the pirate banner but I really don't know if I will try again, might wait to see how CYL, the dance banner and legendary banner look. Can't harm to keep saving. Did also get a Free BCelica and FMorgan from hero fest, but just feeling a bit off about everything FEH related right now.

- Did you make good use of the 5x EXP event? I got Geese, Darros, Pirate Tibarn, and Leg Lyn (finalyl merged her to the +att one) to level 40 in no time on the 5x EXP.

- I'm definitely feeling some FEH burn out. I watched the CYL reveal vid, and I'm just like... wow, each new banner is even more broken than the last. I feel like even new units like Hel and Leg Edelgard are already pathetic in comparison. I just can't keep up with all these new units, new events etc. Learning about the trait fruits legit made me nauseous and made me think about just quitting entierly.

I think the game got wind of that and I summoned Claude on my first try on the CYL banner, and a random Larcei.

I feel you, between the Krises and the CYL winners the power creep is insane. And yeah, I bet the people that went all in for LEdelgard are kind of annoyed now.

The trait fruits... didn’t think they would actually do it, or not put it behind a paywall so I am expecting them to be super, super rare and a pain to obtain in any quantity. The hero fest was actually an awful situation for me and made me want to delete everything - I don’t ever want to summon for duo Ephraim ever again, so I’m glad I can fix him to get +atk and be done.

Like you, I think someone heard me and the CYL Banner gave me Dimitri on the first summon, a Quan on the second and then Claude on summon 8. I also got merges for Tethys and Mercedes and I think I spent about 30 orbs? Honestly I don’t know if I want to spark now.

- I'll probably go for the spark, with the summoning tickets you can get there with relatively few orbs. I'ma just keep collecting and try not to stress too much about dropping to T18 in the arena with my max score OTL. I hope the trait fruits don't ruin the f2p guides. I don't think I'd bother using it on a unit I wasnt planning on building, feels like that would be a waste. And summonable units, tog et 11 of them and not get the IV you want would be pretty rare, so mostly I think I'd just use it for grail units. Might throw +res on my Ylgr or +def on my Lyon if I get one. Still can't decide if I want to give Lyon Close Foil from my spare Julian or not. The thing is, you can get Lulll Att/Spd from him at the same time... and Lyon doesn't really benefit from that, he's too slow even with a -3 spd to the enemy. It's very tempting to build a second Matthew with those skills OTL. I dunno who else I would build whom I would give that too who I actually care about and is actually build-able. Like M.Robin could be good with it, or Norne, or maybe friggin Jorge OTL

x_x i missed out on most of that due to a event in another game dragging me away. Granted Pirate, Veronica, Geese, and the one other TT non holiday bonus unit with the sword ( forgot her name) benifited, as did Summer Norie.

Got afew 5* to max and finally got Faye so have a bow exp babysitter now for Bow Units when I get her leveled.

- Ah, too bad. It was super helpful! Bother for leveling up units, and for SP. I just tossed a bunch of units with low SP counts into the Rival Domains and let them beat things up. I didn't realize that my Opheila still hadn't even learned all her default skills! I've got 6 units to level up now, so that'll be fun for a while. They don't stay level 1 for long on my account though. Have you spent the 10 orbs to get the EXP castle upgrade?

- Got Edelgard and Lysithea on my way to spark, so now I can free summon Dimitri, and Spark summon one of them for skill inheritance. I'm torn between Edelgard and Dimitri, on the one hand Edelgard has Distant Ward, but her only other inheritable skill is drive res which is kinda meh. Dimitri on the other hand has two fourth level skills, but less useful ones, and I don't know who I would give them to. Eirika would like the unity skill, but joint hone att isn't super useful to her, esp. not with my current arena set up. (why couldn't it have been speed or def?) I could also summon Claude, which would give me a) a claude with better IV, and b) fury 4 and att/spd rain, but rain is only for fliers, and I don't really have any fliers I want to build at the moment. like Cordelia with att/spd rain, fury 4, and desperation would be pretty dang powerful, but I don't really need another +10 gen 1 lance flier. The only flier I'm on the fence about right now is Caeda, and I think I'd prefer her with distant ward. Choices choices. I'm bad at choices OTL. Lysithea's also got lots of primo skills... but too many OTL. Can't get all of them without also sacking some other 5s units. She'd probably just sit there gathering dust for ever and ever cus I have descision anxiety.

Yes, only upgrades I have not fully done are the Barricks, but every once in awhile I give up a orb for that. Castle is fully upgraded though.

Lately when leveling I try to have a lv40 Exp and Valor unit if I can to kinda kill/tank things that might be a problem as well as a dancer or healer. Granted not every unit is covered there >_<, I don't think I have either a exp or valor for Dragons and with Lance Valor I only have the Summer Robin limited combat manuel from the divine codes and havn't decided who to give that to yet as I know there's other skills that could be useful on there.

- Yeah, I usually take only the valor unit until they get to level 35 or so. And once they hit 35 or so, I typically just run them through GHBs or RD or something until they get to level 40 so it doesn't cost any more stamina. I did put Sword EXP on Mirabilis, and Blue Tome EXP on Peony though, and Tethys comes with dagger EXP naturally, that's been nice. Once I +10 my 4* Mordecai, maybe I'll put beast EXP onto Rafiel or Reyson. The EXP skills are pretty nice once a unit gets to level 30 or so.

Dragon EXP doesn't exist yet, so you're SOL on that front. And honestly, lance valor is the most exclusive thing on Summer Robin, so if you don't have it yet, then use her for that, and if you have Azura or Dancer Berkut, give it to them, saves a slot on the team. It's completely useless outside of training other units. But HP/def is available on Marisa (grail unit) and is also kinda useless, and Deft Harpoon is outclassed by many other weapons these days. And reposition is a dime a dozen on 3-4* units, so really no point there.

I'm still missing all the Tome Valors, and Dagger and Staff Valor. Having Dragon Valor is super handy cus all the dragons these days all come with base kits requiring like 1500+ SP.

i beleve I have all the Tome valors and dagger valor, not sure on staff valor ( I have staff exp though).

Sword exp and Valor is why I like training Red Sword units though, Sword Valor is on a dancer so I can take her, Athena and a healer and really speed things up. Good thing too given the number of Red Sword units.

Edit: and looking again I am missing Axe Valor, Staff Valor, Bow Valor and Dragon valor :(. I have all the currently available exp skills though.

- Staff Valor is only on Maribelle, Pretty easy to get staff units SP though, just remove their weapon and send then through rival domains with a bunch of units with fury/push. lol. Tome and Dagger are only on seasonal units, which is annoying. I have all 3 sword valor units, plus dupes OTL real helpful since they don't stack. But yeah, swords are so easy to level up, especially if you have Lene. If you inherit sword EXP onto Sylvia or Olivia (Or any other sword dancer if you have them, I put it on Mirabilis) instead of Athena, it'll be even faster to level up your sword units.

I have afew Athenas I turned into combat manuels so could promote one and give the exp that way. Still my surprise Lucina is leveling fast currently with the current team.

- I'm cheap so I only inherited level 2, 1.5x EXP is still beneficial (I mostly just wanted Moonbow on Mirabilis, then was like... I guess she could take Sword EXP as well, she doesn't need sturdy blow) Yay surprise Lucina! She's one of the few launch units I still don't have. I got surprise F!Byleth and Larcei, so they've been reaping the benefits on my account.

I've had afew surprise units lately. Eyvel, Lucina, Lilith, Kris ( got him on a different banner) and as of today Loki.
