Mom had her first PT on Monday. She is doing well. Not yet quite getting herself into bed on her own but really close to that point. Just finished up her morning exercises. She will be going twice weekly into mid August and they'll reevaluate her. I'm really far behind in everything atm. I managed to straighten up the family room where she was sleeping in the beginning but my space is a total disaster. I really hope to get some real time in the next week to spend some time on my stuff.

Animal sanctuaries are so cool! I don't think I could ever attempt one myself, but I respect anyone who does! I'd be up for a trade, but tat image up there took me 4 days to do xD It's quite literally the first thing I have drawn in years. The art trades I've been doing lately for an event in the group have all been writing x) I'm much better at that, lol.

Definitely move some if you liked them that much ^_^ The other reason for my fresh start was I just wanted all new watchers and journals and comments and the like without deleting everything or hiding comments. I am so glad I started over x)

Hey everyone. Not much going on. A few days ago my pc overheated and my wonderful son fixed that then the monitor he had given me to replace mine I'd had for years died. (Unrelated to the pc problem.) It was new to me but old inside. lol It was shutting itself off every couple of seconds, and having pity on my sanity by actually working for a few minutes every once in awhile. Talk about aggravating! Whew. Cory didn't have another one just sitting around, but he gave me one that is scratched but works that he had on his server. I am not complaining at all and really appreciate everything he does for me...he's wonderful.

Anyway, finally got my Hydrus Legeica's profile done. The story will be written soon, and when I have more csc and decide on one, I will be changing her name. Have a look if you like. Tardiis. Dad is mostly the same, but some small improvements. I think my sleeping meds might be working, but not sure. Last night our neighbors were having a party until after two AM with shouting and thumping repetitive music. I did get sleep after that. Maybe if I have a full night I can finally tell.

Whoa three days and no one posted here. My sleep is much better and it is helping with my aching too so that is great. Dad is still unwell and we were supposed to hear today how much longer on the IVs, but the doc didn't get the test results in time so we are hoping for tomorrow. Anyone else think that Keel Hauliday was in August? Anyway hope you are all doing better.

Just had half a post and was screwing around w/ my annoying keyboard (space bar squeaks) and somehow managed to close FF and have no restore of the pages I had up. dammit

Mom will get better, but that kind of recovery will take time. Try not to worry too much. In another month or so, you'll see significant improvements and while she'll still be stiff, she will feel loads better. <3 How have you been? Btw... missed you too. 😽

That sucks you have to add another med to your list just to sleep. :( What happened to Dad?

Have next week off so I hope to be around more often. Plenty of stuff to catch up at the house but maybe being away from aggravating people at work will let me relax enough to be motivated at home.

I know I haven't been around in a while, I've just been sooo busy!

So, quick update.. we've spent the last three (four?) weeks house hunting, as it's time to leave the townhouse (not enough space, parking, and too close to neighbors). It took us a while to figure out where we wanted to be/how much we wanted to spend. M&D were approved loan wise for a lot more than we'd like to realistically spend on a house. SO. We've found a house! We've gotten through all the stuff that basically could prevent us from buying (loans, etc.) and now we're just waiting on the closing date, which is the middle of August. Then, we should be moving the middle of September-ish. Basically anytime between closing and the end of Sept. because that's when the lease is up on the townhouse.

I know I wanted to be more active this summer, but with house hunting (and picking up some extra babysitting) I just haven't had the time! And with moving soon, camp running in to classes, and regular babysitting starting back up, I don't see myself getting too much computer-downtime between now and the end of September, BUT, I do pop in, just generally not long enough to get a good post out. :D

Oh, and camp is going well, and now we're into the second half of the summer, which is when all the fun events happen! :D

We just got back from Kentucky a few days ago. We were visiting Andrew's sister and her husband. It was a lot of fun and we went swimming at Lake Patoka in Indiana. I did not get any pictures, lol. The flights were ok, just long.

Last night, Mom, Debbie and a friend and I all went to go see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for their Soul 2 Soul tour. It was awesome! Some new songs, some old songs...It was amazing ^_^

Mom is doing fine. Still slower than she would like but I think she's doing much better. Still more weeks until her muscles will be strong enough for her to move her leg better to get onto her bed without help and likely to have enough stamina to move from the walker to the cane (which she really is looking forward to).

I'm doing okay. :) Getting more sleep but my brain is pretty fried so when I'm not doing what I need to do I pretty much space out. Still only get a few minutes here and there to chill. And when I get more time in the evening I just don't feel like doing anything. Today is the first time I quested in week. Been watching a lot of youtube. That is brain frying time if there ever was one. Enjoyed my time watching people freak out and declare they were quitting watching doctor who because he's gonna be a she now. They were pretty funny.

Seems photobucket messed up using stuff on other sites so now I need to find another site to use for my stuff so I can store my sigs and pet profile stuff. :( Stupid site.

Am in need of some csc (well, I guess on the grand scheme of life I don't "need" it :) ), and have some CWs in my handpriced shop and in my trades so check to see if y'all would like anything I've got for sale. I'd take WL trades too on some stuff. Discounts available to y'all so just ask.
