We also had a couple days back at the school with no kids, so that helped as well x) We were able to get a lot of stuff printed off and ready to go.

glad to see I am not the only one getting ready for school to start. Hope it all goes well for you.

Dad is still improving so yippee. He will be weaning off his back brace and is working on his core so hopefully... My head is killing me so boo. Been not taking enough care I think while caring for dad. That is why I haven't been posting and that it is so very quiet in here. Where did our little chatter bugs go. Real life needs to give them back.

I really hope your computer is a cheap and easy fix. Mmm chili. Dad is getting physical therapy in home right now and they are talking pool therapy later once he gets his core engaged.

First week of school went pretty well! I even made a fancy new spreadsheet to sign kids into the Help Center when they come over. My desktop over there is SUPER slow, though. It still runs on Windows 7 Professional and only has 2GB of RAM, lol. You know it's bad when Excel locks up when all I wanted to do was type in the very first cell xD

since I only go one day a week that is fine. it's the homework the rest of the week that gets to you lol


hopefully your headaches will get better since a lot of your stress will be gone.

Computer is okay. My brother got it working and did a few updates. It slows down occasionally and has locked up once but it rebooted fine. My brother still wants to update one more thing. Have to make sure I backup stuff incase (likely when) it needs a fresh install.

So glad to read about your dad! Hope you and your mom are getting better rest now and that you get those headaches under better control.

Hopefully once September comes and the events start back up more ksrs will wander back to play again. I sure do miss peeps! I'm trying to play a bit more now. Actually did about half the quests yesterday which for me in recent weeks was a lot!

Gotta love working on computers...my laptop is a little slow with some things, but I hope to fix that later down the road by adding in another drive to help the hard drive out. makes a note to back up my stuff more periodically

I've been busy, just not with work. Radar's been scaring the hell out of me. Long story short, the poor guy has a bladder stone and needs surgery. Debbie is helping me out, Andrew is all on board, so hopefully I can get that scheduled for this weekend if they have space. The vet said there isn't like a huge rush...but I just keep imagining the stone growing, so I want it out of there. Beyond knowing it is there, he is acting completely normal, and I want to keep it that way x)

Hi all! Well, threw out my back and was in sheer misery for days. Then got some kind of stomach flu and was in another kind of sheer misery for a few more days. Ugh. I'm tentatively hopeful its finally going away. At least I feel better today.

I got the token shop whoo. Great new wig. Had just a few seconds and check on my kindle after missing it twice and I got it with 3 left. Got out of the house today for the first time in a month. Went and picked up comic books and storage supplies. I am feeling a bit better. I think it was a meds mess up linked with the smoke coming in from Oregon. Got the meds straightened out and a bit of a breeze going.

Congrats on getting the wig! Glad to hear the meds have been worked out as well! Being cooped up in the house for a month just sounds miserable :(

I do the same thing with my pets at times x) Mostly because they can't tell me where it hurts or anything. I'm probably going to cry when I leave Radar in the morning (my sister is dropping him off at the vet since they open after I have to be at work). Surgeries are scary, and he is my little fuzzy child.

By the sounds of it, I hope you can move sooner rather than later!

I was worried about Lemon but her infection (due to plucking) went away but I'm still keeping her separate from the others.

Found out she was self-mutilating (aka plucking) and I thought she was going to die because yeah...two modes.

I was worried about leaving her for a few days with Dad because she's my babyXD

Poor little birdy, but I'm glad that the infection is gone! That is awesome! Radar's got a good sized incision on his tummy, so we have to make sure it doesn't swell or anything. I was worried all day, but now that he is home I feel a lot better x) The vet we go to is AMAZING, I just don't like it when he doesn't feel good x)

So yeah, Radar's surgery wen't really well! He's just out of it and doesn't like that we won't let him go where he wants without the inflatable collar we have. It's so much better and nicer than the cone of shame x) 10-14 days of no activity. We can do this!

My vet is awesome. She's known as the crazy bird lady :)
