Was playing subeta a little last night and meant to post but as seems usual for me lately I got distracted on youtube and that was it. Youtube is awesome and also it's the devil.

Nothing new or different going on here. Mom has added more PT appointments through Sept 1st. She'll likely not get coverage to continue but she also probably won't need the therapists anymore as she can just continue at home. She's also considering us joining the city rec center and looking into personal instructors that have some background in rehab and people with joint issues etc... That wouldn't happen until we got back from NJ.

Gosh you're just not having a good summer.
Two of the worst things got you - thrown out back and a stomach flu/bug - just ugh. Hope you are truly on the road to recovery. healing hugs

We need rain too and while most of the rain has missed us lately when we have gotten it it's also been with thunder and lightening. I'd like a nice afternoon of just rain some time. We don't get those days much anymore.

Crazy bird lady sounds awesome xD I love the vet office I've got out here. I've seen several different vets in there, and have loved every single one! Instead of a cone of shame, we got an inflatable e-collar. It's like a traveling pillow, and they can still eat and drink with it on. This isn't my dog, but this is the type of collar ^_^ We call it "The Bumper," lol

Gotta love youtube! Ooooo...personal instructors sounds nice and helpful! So far we have him on the leash to go outside, but the little bugger still tries to go faster than a walk. He's also like...a mega ninja now. We turn our backs for a second and he disappears to go lay under something. We have the collar on him, so he can't lick anything, but it's like...how does he move so quietly? xD

I hope you get a nice rain with no thunder and lightning! We got rain night before last, but it was while I was sleeping, so I couldn't enjoy it :(

rec centers are great. Hope you can figure out something for her. I was just watching the super hero girl short videos on YouTube for the last half hour. Only thing is the song gets played over and over.

Lunch time. Have to go find something. Dad is still improving, but it is so slow. I went shopping with dmy yesterday and got a new pillow for me, shorts for dad, and $300 dollars of school stuff for her two younger step-kids. Dang. That did include two new back to school outfits, though, and we split the cost. We had to buy copy paper for them. I mean copy paper. Why are we not funding our schools? It is a travesty.

morning hope all is well. we made it through the storm yesterday :)
hubby had to go to urgent med this morning. had a boil on his stomach and it had to be lanced. so he's in pain at the moment.

read your post about the high cost of school supplies and what they have to have. The cost has really gone up since my kids were in school. and yes , teachers have to help supply the classes they teach with supplies too. so what is the purpose of paying teachers if they have to spend it on classroom supplies? It's like they are working for free. sigh. My oldest daughter is a teacher so yeah I know some about this.

The lack of school funding is horrible :( That sucks you guys had to buy copy paper -_-

Gry and The collar is amazing, but Radar hates it so much, lol. He will hit me in the back of the leg with it and I just look at him like "It's better than the cone, deal with it," x) The collar gets in the way of his curling into a little ball in his pillow.

Really makes you wonder where a lot of the school funding goes :(

morning to all. it's been so quiet in here lately that I feel like a little hermit that doesn't want to post anything. sigh.

So I was sick for two days. Today (second day of sickness) I went to the doctors and it's a good thing I did. Turned out my asthma had gotten bad and the reason I was sick was because I wasn't able to get much air into my lungs.

I got two steroid shots in the bum which is still sore nowXD

miss ya too! waves and a hug sorry i've just not been feeling like being in here much, i should be getting myself to the drs. but ehh not yet :/ ...i guess close to 30 yrs or so i had tonsillitis that went to bronchitis which lead to a congested lung (the last 2 comes under the heading of COPD problems, that just progressively gets worse over time, no real cure) anyway having a knife stab you in the back/side with every breath isn't fun lol ..so at any rate i've pretty much stayed in my bedroom the past 2 weeks :/ ..if i get up to go to the bathroom or anything i takes me a while to catch my breath enough to move, the stabbing pain has subsided but the pain with the shallow breathing and feeling as you are trying to catch your breath after running a marathon is nothing to laugh about either .. and to make matters worse yet i've started smoking again thanks to billy smoking, i know it's an excuse i don't need to use or blame on him, but it's the only way i could stand it in my own house ..speaking of billy he's driving me nuts lol i want my 'me' time back..alone.. lol ..not to mention i'm going broke, he's still not getting any money coming in from anywhere so i've been paying necessity bills of his like truck insurance, phone card, gas, scripts, cigs etc ..plus i don't even want to think about my 200.00 electric bill i got for this month :O ... sorry i didn't mean to unload all this crap here <3 ..i'm glad your mom is doing good with her rehab stuff, my mom had it pretty easy with hers as well :)

Hi all. Took Loki to the vet to get his nails trimmed. He was a very good bunny. Dad switched to a smaller brace and is almost ready to go braceless. He is still not well enough to be left alone long and needs help with a lot. I had a weird thing last night where I woke up at one something in the morning with just my head drenched with the hair wet down to the tips and no sweat elsewhere. So weird. I changed my top and pillow around and went back to sleep alright. Checked the roof for a leak and it was just me.

dmy is a substitute teacher now and I just want to ask what school funding? The kids and teachers deserve a lot more respect. Hope hubby's pain is much better.

yeah not being able to curl up in a little ball I can see that being annoying for a dog.

I get the whole me time thing. Sorry, Billy's money hasn't come in. I hope you feel better as that sounds terrible to live with.

Having to take my inhaler more than I'd like but at least I'm able to eat and function today. Called the lung doctor so should hear back from them tomorrow.

gosh it's been awhile since I posted. been around but still in short doses.

Had car issues the last couple days. Dropped it off to have a leak checked and they wanted about 1500 dollars to fix the problems. My brother had been trying to get in touch with a different place and finally did and they charged just over 800 to do the same thing. Got it back this afternoon after mom's pt and got home just before a severe storm. It was a hectic day.

Oh man :( Sorry it's been so stressful for you. I don't even remember the last time I had any real alone time and even then I think it might have only been for an hour or two. I don't mind not being alone but I'd like more than a coupe hours every few years. Tell Billy to stop smoking. Easier said than done I know. But it's too expensive when you don't have funds (and even when you do). He could at least smoke outside and not inside. My brothers were never allowed to smoke in the house. When I was a kid mom had part of her lung removed (and surgery then was nearly barbaric) and stopped smoking immediately. She told dad he had to as well. Period. He did. I hope he gets some money coming in soon and he gets a chance to pay you back for your generosity.

Good afternoon all. A little less grumpy today so that is good for everyone. We are very near the total solar eclipse zone so we are having some visitors in the area and some things are booked full or sold out, like some gas stations on the highways. Nice and sunny today.

i'm glad loki was yet again a good little bunny for the trimmings and that your dad is going good with his recovery, i'm sure that'll give you some much needed rest as well❤️ ..that was kinda odd with you sweating like that though, probably would've freaked me out a bit lol ....it's kinda funny i really didn't realize just how much i loved being alone and doing as i please when i want to do it till a very 'needy' person is up your wazoo 24/7 lol ..you'd think him being a trucker for 40 some years he'd be the same way but nooooooo lol ..and agreed, it'll be nice when he can pay his way ;)

i know, i really do need to go, it's just getting my foot out the door, billy bought me forms from the clinic to fill out and i've almost finished those .. lol the bad part being i've had them 2 weeks i guess :O ..yes! it'll be nice when billy can pay his bills again not to mention a big part of the electric bill since he has this big oxygen machine that he leaves running 24/7 and he has to has tv/noise on when he sleeps and putting in bigger bulbs than i had and i won't even try to count how many mt. dews he drinks in a day lol ..just complaints that makes me want more to become a van dweller sooooon lol ..hugs for radar

glad you were able to get your car done at the cheaper rate, that always is a plus :) ..we had a terrible storm come through here yesterday evening to, probably after leaving your area i imagine ,,it had terrible thunder and lightening (really close) but oddly enough my power stayed on this time :) ....yeah i should have stuck to my guns with him smoking away from me outside but instead i'd burn a candle, but then he'd make mention of the candle with the copd and having to use oxygen more (which i think is a joke to begin with him still smoking in the first place after his quadruple heart surgery just a couple of years ago) but oh well, he's one of those who gets all anxious and upset when it's bought up or he considers dying soon.. and him not wanting that.. but yet hasn't stepped up in so many areas to see it doesn't happen soon :/ i mean if i was as scared of dying as he says he is i'd be doing everything i could to postpone it ya know what i mean lol ..i don't know maybe it's just our differences of thinking about things, like him and his siblings growing up not wanting for anything and me being an only child but one that was thankful for those leftovers we had to eat most days ...he thinks nothing of dumping a warm soda down the drain and get a new one, i can carry a bottle around all day lol ..but yeah, hopefully he'll get something coming in soon before i have to kill him ;) :P
