Can't say I've had nearly as much fun as , but I've indeed been busy and it's honestly been a little much to try and explain in the short time I get to visit here every now and then.

First, I officially started my new position on the 25th - while it will eventually get better, right now, these are the cons:

• Monthly paycheck - wasn't prepared to start so soon so I wasn't totally prepared, although I did have some great checks from where I worked so much OT the past month.
• The person I'm working/training w/ is WAY too serious. She doesn't take breaks and pretty much looks for things to do (and she finds them), so the work is CONSTANT.
• The pay isn't great at all - Every other week, my previous position would get Sunday pay, which is the same as OT. Now I don't get that and my monthly average will actually be less. 😠 This is supposed to improve within a year when I go up to the next pay level.
• Things at home have been deteriorating. My brother has been taking the expression "you hurt the ones you love the most" to a whole 'nother level w/ taking out whatever anger issues he has on me. I've seen this side of him before but after he got married a few years ago, things seemed to be a lot better for him. Doesn't seem to be the case as first of all, he's always treated the girls he was with exceptionally better than his family but now it's turned against me in the way that any frustrations he goes through (ex. - the router dying when he was in the middle of a test) is MY FAULT.

My daughter has been complaining that I've not cleaned the house or whatever else she wants me to do for her; My brother complains about the same thing - as if there isn't 3 other people in the damn house; I feel like I'm being backed into a corner w/ no where to turn and I'm about to break. (yeah, like the Lincoln Park song)

Yeah... so in a nutshell, that's where I am. Have to participate in this stupid sale (that's a big ordeal) today from about 10:30 to HOPEFULLY only 1:30 in which I get to work at home, but still, I don't get to enjoy the day b/c when we did it yesterday, it took 7 hours. **Flash Sale for all Kroger Marketplace, Fred Meyer and any other store connected to the same company that sells more than groceries going on the 10th. Yeah, there's a relatively small group of people that make that happen. Not getting paid OT is really shitty, too.

Dad seems even better. His personality is back to normal and he is working with the therapists! The weather has got hot and ick. We have a concert on Wednesday, John Mellencamp, and a play on Friday, Wait Until Dark. Poor dad misses them both and instead we are taking dmy's older stepdaughter. My left leg is being a terrible pain. Trying to get it back in order.

oh, dear. Sorry, the new job is annoying right now. Hope it gets better fast and your family steps up.

Hey all. Illustrating up a storm at the moment. We've got Monday and Tuesday off of work this week for a catholic holiday since Austria celebrates all the church holidays. Doesn't matter to me what the religion is, I just enjoy the extra holidays off! :D In the meantime, I'm trying to catch up on drawing. I'm doing some busy search and find pictures and they are really really time consuming. So, I'm just trying to get through them.

How is everyone else doing? How was everyone's weekend?

Still sick but recovering pretty well. Might be able to actually sleep in my bed instead of on the sofa soon. Still need to sleep a bit sitting up to make sure I don't cough (too much) at night. Mom also has it but I think we've helped keep her from getting the bronchitis. At least I hope. Work is slowly getting done here. Weather is not cooperating though. Rain again today, although not yet. As soon as the workmen finish the dock and deck (both damaged by Sandy and then continued damaged on and off by storms since then) we'll head home for mom to prep for her surgery at the end of the month. Would be nice if we had no rain during the week and rain on weekends. Only nice day out of the last 4 was Sunday and couldn't really ask them to work on Sunday.

Glad your father is doing better and his spirits are picking up. Hope he will be home soon.

!!!!!!! Miss ya' Sorry your new job position isn't starting out so good. Hope it gets better faster than you think! Family can be wonderful and a pita all at the same time. hugs Sorry your brother/sisinlaw aren't doing their fair share. I feel ya' on being the target of a brother's frustration. I am the target of mine as well.

Sorry to hear about the new position :( Like jersey, I hope it gets better sooner than expected. And what your family is pulling is bull. I wouldn't blame you if you snapped on them. Any one of them could clean the house. Could just pile all the cleaning supplies together somewhere with a note that says "I'm at work right now. Have at it! You live here, too!" Though that might make it worse x) hugs

Glad to hear you are recovering! I hope all the repairs go quickly and that the weather cooperates. I swear weather has a mind of its own at times. Way too coincidental for rain to only happen when something needs to be done.

I'm enjoying summer break a lot right now. Just relaxing and getting ready for our trip to the lake with some other families in California. We'll be gone for about a week. Also still been participating in ARPG groups over on DeviantArt. I love writing again x)

Good afternoon lovely friends of KS. Dad might or might not be coming home tomorrow. Not sure if he will be strong enough, but it is super close. We are hiring someone to take care of the lawn mowing and stuff like that. My leg is better, but still needs work and stretching.

Friday I went to the clinic and then the ER as the clinic couldn't run the needed tests. Turns out I had Sinusitus (sp? inflammation of the sinuses). I had been getting more sick as the week had gone on.

This is the first day where I got back to my 'normal' routine so woot :)

Hey I'll post a few once they are all finished. I'm not supposed to share til they are published, but I have a hard time with that as well because it's hard to make something and then not show anyone. My favorite is the science lab so when it's finished I'll post that one and maybe another one. :) It sounds like things are super busy there! I hope that both you and your Mom start feeling better soon if you haven't already!

Thanks I'm getting there. I realized yesterday that I am over halfway through now. No one has confirmed it, but I think they have extended to go through the weekend so it'll be lots of working time still, but I should be able to get it done without anyone getting angry at me for being late. :) Your summer holidays sound great already! I'm envious! I can't wait til we get there too! What kinds of things do you do on your vacation in California? What kinds of stuff are you writing?

Stressful thing this week is the Apartment applications. Won't know the result until Friday. Been stressed out...had at least one or two breakdowns where my Dad and revs probably wished they had a stun gun for meXD

Dad is for sure coming home tomorrow and will be here around noon. We will have help from a nurse for a while too. Went to the Mellencamp concert last night. It was super neat and fun. Tired now.

Extensions are awesome! In California, we will be going to a lake with a few other families, so we'll be exploring the area and playing a lot of games at camp x) Other than that, we tend to plan on the fly, lol. As for what I am writing, they are stories for a DeviantArt group I am in C: I also help write prompts and other things for the group as part of the admin team ^_^ Lots of character building! Each story/piece of art gains points to level up the character and unlock things within the group. I love it! I don't think I've ever written this consistently outside of college, lol.

Good Morning Everyone! :D I'm about to head out to my older kid's fifth grade graduation (which I don't completely understand, but ah well). I've got the twins' preschool graduation tomorrow, then Sunday free for relaxation before camp starts on Monday. I hope everyone is doing well! That sounds like a lot of fun. I've never been much of a writer even though I tried to write some stories as a kid. I like the idea of having a group that is maintained and run and that offers prompts and has things to achieve. It sounds like a really cool idea. It probably helps keep you motivated and I find that once you get started with creative stuff it's a lot easier to keep creative ideas coming so it's probably an amazing process for continuing with writing and not getting frustrated.
